Hi Will! I'm 54 years old, I'm from Brazil and follow all your tips! It's very hard to gain muscle after 50s. I use to work out at the gym and after this and other videos of yours I started to slow down the dumbbells and I realized that this is more effective than just raising and lowering the dumbbells quickly. The muscles instantly get tighter, so I think this will definitely work! And most importantly: it's better to slow down the dumbbells with less weight than to do faster raising and lowering with more weight. Thank you very much for your time and tips!! Congrats on the channel!!
Daily Exercise is crucial but please don't forget nutrition and diet needed to fuel the body, specifically muscles that require a lot of good protein. Not all food created equally. Thank you for all the health information that are very helpful for the community.
All the exercises you share are truly helpful to me. Absolutely amazing! Every morning before work, I make time to watch your channel. I love your channel! ❤
I wish you had included the stretches one should do afterwards. If you don’t stretch afterwards and you’re new to doing this, you’ll be in so much pain within 2 days that you’ll more than likely have a hard time moving about or raising your arms to put on your clothes for a few days. So BE SURE TO STRETCH ALL THE MUSCLES you’ve just used. Stretch after any exercises you do to avoid that extreme soreness. I find that if I don’t stretch and I get terribly sore, I may not stick to a regular exercise routine. You should have mentioned this in your video. Also, and this is a big thing… start with light weights. If you’re very weak and haven’t don’t any type of weight training, start with 3-5 pounds (for women) and 8-10 for men. Build up from there but don’t try to be tough or you’ll really regret it. If you haven’t got any dumbbells or bands, check your local thrift stores or the Facebook marketplace. Oftentimes people donate theirs and you’ll get them for a much better price than buying brand new.
Hi Will, I realy love your videos. I’m 61 year old from Sweden. I have psoreasisarthrit and 2 protes in my both knees. How offen your say I need to do this? Is 3-4 times/week okej? Best regards Helene in Sweden
Hi will , great content, quick question ! , since just hitting 50, now noticing change in my body ! I find when I do press-ups, the top of my shoulders - both side , I find a burning sensation when exercising, what causes this ?
Would taking anabolic steroids help add body muscle if you are over age 50? I tried extensive weight lifting for many years when younger and still vital and found any gains to be very very difficult. I know pro body builders use juice and get great results.
A door anchor is invaluable for increasing the number of exercises you can do with a resistant band. Door anchors are cheap but you can make one from a t-shirt. ua-cam.com/video/C0xE3MwiCdU/v-deo.html

If you use stretch mediated hypertrophy ( and you should) there’s no need to stretch. Also stretching will not eliminate DOMs
@@thundersleycleaningco.6621 DOMs?
