Back then, I dont really understand what this song and its lyrics meant, but now that I am already an adult, the lyrics really hit me to the core. This song has brought me back to the time when my grandparents and younger brother were still alive. Those were the times when we did not have electricity and we just relied on listening to radio for news and music while plowing the farm. Life back then was so simple, no electric bill, water bill etc to think of. But still thankful for the life I had and have to experience. Everyday is a gift so live each day very well. Listening to Carol Banawa's Muntik na kitang Minahal for 5 days straight and it brought me to Aiza Seguerra's Pagdating ng Panahon which is for me, one of my childhood songs. Back then, I dont really understand what this song and its lyrics meant, but now that I am already an adult, the lyrics really hit me to the core.
This kind of love na iaasa niyo na lang sa "destiny" or "tadhana" yung kayong dalawa ay isa sa pinakamasakit na reality sa mundo. Walang assurance, walang plano pero iaasa niyo na lang na sana someday mag tagpo ulit landas niyo at kayo pa rin sa huli. Ang sakit. I'm not broken pero this song made me really sad by just listening. 💔

growing up in a filipino household, this song was my childhood
This song has brought me back to the time when my grandparents and younger brother were still alive. Those were the times when we did not have electricity and we just relied on listening to radio for news and music while plowing the farm. Life back then was so simple, no electric bill, water bill etc to think of. But still thankful for the life I had and have to experience. Everyday is a gift so live each day very well. Happy new year, everyone. I really went here right away after I watched a throwback EB video of Aiza in Tiktok😊
