You should check for stuck valves. It could be the reason you can't get #4 to fire. Take out the plugs and shine a light into the hole. You can see the valve heads and tell if they are moving. Squirt in some PB, tap the valve down GENTLY, crank it back up, repeat, repeat, repeat. Buy a 6 volt battery at the Farm and Home store.
If he knows he doesn't have ignition in that cylinder the chances are it does have compression but yeah I always see if it has fire first then if it has any compression at all it should run
Sometimes the coils go bad need rebuilt, try taking them out cleaning them up, or find another 2nd hand coil, these old spark plugs generally come apart too, try another plug on No1 to see if you have spark.
In the 30's the family egg farm had one and when people would visit the farm the boys would siphon the gas out of their cars to use in the t. The egg farm's been gone since the late 30's
You need to see jnh classic, he restored his model t. Explained what he did, if this will help with yours in restoration. Good luck, would like to see it completely restored. Thanks.

Hey guys, send me your coils and I’ll get them working properly. The coils are the reason for your bad miss. A model t engine actually runs very smoothly. Go to coildoctor.com for my address. I’ll do them for free since you guys are young.
Thanks for the your generous offer, but we actually already got them rebuilt. Would you mind if we contact you if we have other questions about the car. Thanks The Weaver Brothers

That little boy is so cute 🥰
Back in the 20s and 30s boys 12 yrs old were driving about in "T"s like no big deal
Yep. They had to help on the farms, and were taught very young how to drive.

You can adjust those buzzers on the top of the coil by turning the nut
Thank you
The cooling system is via thermo siphon.
Get some 1x8 or 1x6 for floor boards. Easy peasy!
The panels below the doors are called rocker panels
The rocker panels are connected to your running boards
Spray for termites.
Put some heat into that motor, it'll come around
