After filming this video I came across @eeloftheworld 's video on this very subject! Like I said in the video, we all need to be talking about this and I'm so glad to see it being spoken out by more cosplayers! Here's her video here - ua-cam.com/video/oBG2EWbOiUA/v-deo.htmlsi=PIdQNBJ1FRNL5dyb If there are any other good creators or resources to help please let me know! UA-cam failed me in the search bar clearly when doing my research! We need our voices to be pushed up rather than diminished in a sea of preacher nonsense! 🫂 Stay safe out there!
Age pacific show or thing you can't see until your right age is wrong, I mean I got Mortal Kombat when I was 11 and watched Hellofa Boss at 17 and I turned out just fine.
@@E-SeriesAKAConRaDiCalToonZInc con if ur a kid it dosnet mater if the animations arent real its ma and the show as sex drugs and drinking and abuse kids should not be watching that
For real, like there's a happy medium between being overprotective and letting your kid watch everything that's cartoons, I bet there's many a kid who watched South Park or *god forbid* Fritz the Cat, and was mostly likely either extremely disturbed or developed a weird kink later in life... I'm not saying that you have to be a helicopter parent, but you should probably explain to your kids why this isn't okay for them...
The parents that allow their kids to cosplay sexually explicit characters from shows were once bad kids that turned into bad parents. I think conventions should enforce rules against certain cosplays. Everyone knows that cosplay does not equate to consent. That being said, not everyone follows that rule and will do some horrific things to get that inappropriate picture or video at said convention or on the route to and from it. Parents and staff need to work together to keep everyone at these events safe. That is my first thought, but not my last thought.
@@KatoPotato900 My parents helped me preparing my cosplays when I was younger. They knew exactly what I would wear and would have stopped me and my friend, if our characters weren't appropriate for our age. When I was older I learned about an incident at a convention I attended involving an older photographer that would charm minor girls in front of the building and get them to agree to professional photoshoots somewhere else... You really have to prepare your children for this and you should be interested in the shows they watch etc. In the case of Galaxy Con I don't understand why this child was at the con to begin with. Here you have at least to be 14 to attend a convention. Of course, that's still too young for Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss.
Or at least enforce the age restriction on panels that are meant for 18+. Like no children under that age period even if they're accompanied by an adult
The way I see it there's only one explanation for the 9yo at the GalaxyCon Panel. Most kids that get into fandoms they definitely shouldn't be into at their ages usually hide from their parents, but indulge in the fandom with their friends. But in this particular case, her parents were right there. And she had no problem asking a question about an actors' portrayal of sexual sounds with her parents feet away from her and in a massive crowd of people. This tells me that they probably watch this show as a family and they probably censor very few things in her life because they think she's mature and smart. They think everyone should see her as mature and capable of making her own decisions. The problem is SHE'S NOT. SHE'S 9. All 9 year olds still need to be protected by their parents. These parents' failure to do so is criminally lazy and damaging to her. This clip will be online FOREVER. Did these parents not think to read her question beforehand? Tell her they'd ask the question for her? Clearly not. Either they're so lazy they have no idea what media this kid is consuming and just got her tickets to this expo without bothering to google it, or they're fans themselves and got the girl into it without caring about how it reflects on them or how it would affect her down the road.
I completely agree I have cousins that have absolutely no limits to what they let their kids watch. For example one time when they where visiting the two boys one was around 13 the other 9 (at the time) were watching s*xual content, then started showing it to their toddler sister 🤯. Once we saw my brother took the tablet and discounted it from our WiFi network, while I told their parents only to find out they didn't care.
@@audjusushi my mother was unfortunately like this, gave me uncensored internet access since I was like 7 and it ruined me. She would also watch things with explicit material right in front of me as a kid (like romance and dramas with sex I’m not saying like p*rn or anything). It lead to many intrusive thoughts, large LARGE amounts of anxiety because I wasn’t aware of how unrealistic a lot of the things I saw was, and that anxiety still effects me even after I’ve been educated and understand. And interactions I should have never had at the age I had them
@@OzlozYep. My parents did too, but they taught me how to handle it, what to avoid and how to be safe on the internet, and I was a good kid, like a goody goody. But everyone is different and frankly, that stuff should be monitored heavily with young children. Though I was a young kid around the 2000's so things were different back then from what I remember.
Alex actually said "shame on you" to the parents in an awkward way which i pretty much understand, but idk if he actually answered the question . Edit: I said Blake Instead of Alex my bad guys!
As a minor who watches the show, both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. My best friend introduced me to them, do I regret watching them right now? Honestly yes, both are great shows, great characters, great plots, scripts, songs, designs, cast, crew, everything. The shows are both very good, but again I do regret watching it right now in my life, I would rather wait until I'm older, but it cannot be undone. I do agree seeing younger people cosplaying or speaking openly about it does creep me out, so as much as I would love to cosplay, or go to interviews I am not going to because I know the risk. My mom watches both shows, we watched them together, she loves both of the shows. She'll talk to me even just a bit after every episode, share her opinion, and let me ask questions which I feel safe doing with her, and I really appreciate her for doing this, it lets me know, its a safe space to talk with her if anything comes up and she feels alright talking with me if she's concerned about anything. She has very strict rules of me not to introduce anyone who doesn't know the shows to them, which I follow, I have quite a few friends who watch the shows so its not like I need to be yapping to random 5th graders about it. It does make me uncomfortable knowing that there are so many minors in the fandom, makes me uncomfortable sometimes just thinking that I'm in this fandom for a much more mature audience. But I full on agree with this video.
Thank you for sharing your side! I appreciate the honesty and I think you're doing right by not engaging with the fandom at this point, Especially at conventions, etc. As I say in the video, it's more a matter of safety than anything! I appreciate you speaking out as someone directly affected by this! Stay safe!
My friend got me into it and Idc that I'm a Minor it helps me with my depression and makes me happy and I can relate to them and I enjoy this and the songs is it wrong that anyone under age of 13 watching YES I dont like that my 8 year old sis is watching HB and HH but if your 13 or older IDC that's my take
Children cosplaying Angledust make me sick. I understand liking the character but, 👏 he 👏 is 👏 a 👏 ×orn 👏 star 👏 Children should not be cosplaying a character that sexual!
@@FlorianhereShe shouldn't be cosplaying as any hazbin hotel character at all. That show is not appropriate for any children. Kids should be entirely banned from watching it. At this point there should be an ID to scan to bar kids from this content, like how they do in Roblox adult games.
There is also so many discord servers with minors! 13 or younger and you're not allowed to say swear words in there but oh nevermind the themes about SA, r*pe and nudity in the show itself!!
WOW I WAS SHOCKED😰 THAT 9 YEAR OLD KID SAID INAPPROPRIATE WORDS IN GALAXYCON WHERE ARE THE PARENTS? HOW THEY LET THE KIDS WATCH ADULTS CARTOON THAT'S NOT RIGHT THIS IS WRONG THAT'S BAD PARENTING THEY NEED TO BLOCK THAT SHOW SHAME ON KID PARENTS ☝️
@@KiaBlocker-ig3ws …I never said that I apologize if “dude” offended you it’s a gender neutral term. I am very aware that Hazbin hotel is not for children all I’m saying is you typing ever sentence is caps is very annoying, confusing and weird. Please stop- it makes you looks like a child-
It baffles me that I’m 20 years old (so pretty much the target demographic for Hazbin) and my mom still tried to get onto me for watching an ADULT cartoon as an adult and yet the parents of these Hazbin kids clearly aren’t monitoring their kids well enough to see that these shows are not appropriate for their kids is wild. Like, if my mom can try to get onto me for watching an adult cartoon when I’m old enough to watch adult cartoons then surely these parents can take one look at what their kids are watching. Truly just wild…
We can't totally control who consumes certain things but we should not necessarily be enabling or encouraging certain things and there should at least be some safeguards on certain things when it comes to kids.
Hi, im commenting on this as a teenager under sixteen who’s been watching the show since the pilot came out and cosplays certain characters from the show, yes 100% I feel like minors shouldn’t be cosplaying characters like angel dust because just what he is and how he is as a character, me personally I don’t think minors under 17 should even be posting in cosplay on their own social media accounts in general but for minors to cosplay a character like angel dust AND post it on the internet, I definitely see the issue with that and minors are putting themselves in danger in that way. Now onto them watching Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss, I personally think that people under 13 shouldn’t watch either show because of their rating, which seems hypocritical from me who started watching it before then, but I feel like I have that sort of experience and understanding, second I feel like the maturity of the kid watching is really important, for example my dad knows I watch both shows and how long I’ve been watching hazbin and helluva for, he’s fine with this because he feels I’m mature enough to handle topics like that, (to be clear he hasn’t watched either show but I’ve watched episodes in the living room and he knows all the kinda stuff in each) so in summary, minors cosplaying characters from hazbin hotel and helluva boss, especially ones that are inappropriate in nature, are putting themselves at risk by posting that online and minors watching the show should be wary of what they watch but I really don’t see a problem unless they’re like nine (which is something I see a lot at school, the 4th and 5th graders are watching that stuff and I know their parents don’t know except for like one kid who watches with his dad which in that case I think it’s fine) but just be careful what yall post online, please.
In my opinion, cosplaying all of the other characters are fine, but its really a concern seeing kids under 13 walking around wearing Angel Dust and Valentino cosplays
As a younger minor in the Hazbin Hotel fandom this really opened my eyes to the danger of being so young and around random internet strangers it’s very dangerous. I have thought about cosplaying characters even Angel Dust, but now that I understand the risk of being groomed and used in ways that I will never want to be used in. I honestly just like the show and the songs and relate to some characters. I wish fandom could be safer for people like me and even just people everywhere. I will inform my friends and even mutuals about the dangers of cosplaying in this fandom or any adult fandom. I watched Helluva like when I was nine and it’s kinda depressing to think about that, it’s even more depressing that I showed my little sister it too. It’s become a coping mechanism for me to act as if I’m mature for my age so people will think I’m cool and just so interesting but now I realize freaks and weirdos could take that as an invitation to groom me. I personally have had no bad experiences in the fandom but it sucks to know kids like me have. Please if any minor is reading this stay safe.
Girl what? I watch these shows to HELP ME COPE with the bull crap that is my life. And yeah I showed my little sister too, (which I should NOT have done) And Womp Womp. Fandom is safe; you just don’t know how to use it. It’s not “tHe pARenTs’ faULt” it’s yours, in the damn end you’re the one who chooses that.
@@BellaGallagher-gw4mmI’m not saying it’s the parents fault, I also use this show to cope with the fact that my life is also bullshit. Saying that I don’t understand fandom is not necessarily wrong but also not true. I’ve seen the depths of the fandom and it’s really gross but I will admit there are some great awesome people in the community. This comment was just me sharing my feelings about this issue.
@@BellaGallagher-gw4mm This is such a bizarre and dismissive response. Why are you so insecure about someone else expressing their thoughts and feelings? What the original commenter said was well thought. I hope you learn to conduct yourself better. Fandom is not always the safest place, nothing on the internet is, and you're naïve and ignorant for thinking otherwise. Do not victim blame children for what adults do to harm them.
Thank you so much for your comment! I am so glad I could help make you aware of the possible dangers of being too active in the community at your age. It's a crazy world out there, and as I've said before, being a minor and watching this show is kind of secondary to the real life dangers engaging too strongly in the fandom may encourage. Stay safe and thank you so much for your honesty!
@@BellaGallagher-gw4mm Let's all be chill please 🙌🏼 Fandom is by no means safe, even in fandoms not meant for adults. Grooming can happen in any fandom, but in adults centred ones with minors, it certainly heightens that risk. Just want to keep you safe, especially if you are vulnerable. That is all 🙌🏼
As a younger minor (not telling my age) who watches both vivzipop shows (hazbin hotel and helluva boss) this helped me realize how bad this is. I accidentally introduced hazbin hotel to my younger cousins (witch I regret deeply) I watched the helluva boss pilot at 10, wich is depressing really. I feel like I don’t have a childhood anymore. I learned about things I shouldn’t have at a very young age and I see that. I feel like my father should’ve done more but I feel like it’s more of my fault because I knew what I was getting myself into.
And by “accidentally introduced hazbin hotel to my younger cousins” I watched an episode around them. Their parents are pretty restrictive about that kinda stuff and I respect that fully. There’s other stuff that they should restrict more but I’m not gonna get into that, it’s not my story to tell and expose to the internet
Yeahhh same exact thing here but I have a older sis that liked it too and I started to watch HH and HB too and it had good storylines and stuff but I knew it wasn’t for me so I stopped and pretty much healed also I like your Stone profile lol (Stone from Ramshackle)
The only reason I found hazbin hotel was bc of the fan made song "insane," and at the time, I didn't know it was for adults. Then I introduced it to my friends and I kinda regret it
I've just seen a post saying I let my 6 year old watch Hazbin Hotel and I explain everything afterwards to them. 6?!! How damaging must that be for them 😮😡
@VictorLockhart Definitely not! There was replies saying how great the child was for their drawings and how great it is for them. I was like what?!!! 😱
@FinnyThePorg I haven't watched it but if there isn't s e x in it then I don't see the big deal I watched a bunch of horror movies when I was six with blood and cussing now I love horror movies but I was never forced to watch them if I was scared 🤷🏽♀️
12-14 here, I’ve been watching the show since the Hazbin Hotel pilot that came out which was almost 5 years ago. I’ve watched both helluva and hazbin with my parents and they approve of it. I use these shows to cope with trauma as I relate to Angel Dust. I have been exposed to content way more harsh and explicit than this. I will never interact with the cosplay fandom nor be apart of it until I am 18. But if teens and or pre teens are mature enough to handle the scenes of the show and be respectful about it I believe they can watch it.
I started watching hazbin with my dad, he didn’t like the singing lol. My parents know that I watch hazbin and helluva I’m 15, because they trust that I know the difference between reality and fake stuff and that I won’t copy it.
I agree but as someone who knows a lot of 13 yr old kids who swear and talk about concerning topics if yk what i mean they already are exposed to this type of stuff in real life so I would say that them watching this unfortunately will be nothing new to what they experience in real life because if im being honest the world is becoming more and more none kid friendly.
1:49 Like fr!! It might focus on a naive princess who thinks everything is rainbows and sparkes but that doesn’t mean that it’s all rainbows and sparkles
I totally agree. I love Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, but I would never for example recommend it to my niece (14) despite knowing that she watched certain things like the FNAF movie etc. It's a lot going on in this series and even if you think it might be okay, you can't say what it will invoke in a minor. My parents let me watch Watership Down when I was younger and I had nightmares for ages because of that. It's a whole different genre but it still got to me. They thought it would be fine because it's an animated movie and it's about rabbits. And they didn't even watch the whole movie with me and my brother. Minors these days easily get a lot of content that isn't suitable for their age. It's really insane. They need guidance in form of a caring guardian.
With the case of Helluva Boss, it’s open to a public audience on VivziePop’s YT channel meaning ANYONE including minors under 18 can easily access those episodes. I am surprised HB isn’t age restricted considering YT has cracked down on creators and hell, those creators can’t say rape or porn but they can say grape or corn, rhyming words, in order to prevent demonetization. Hell, you can’t say dead, die, death or kill but instead, you can say unalive. Are you familiar with Elsagate?
@@galaxyglow5187 I'm not familiar with the term Elsagate. I just looked it up. I know that a friend, who already had children, complained about strange and gorey Peppa Pig videos on UA-cam Kids. Seems to be a similar problem. And there were these videos that show a person preparing cookies with non fitting audio about serious events like harassment, stalking and worse. It's really difficult to be stopped by UA-cam. Whenever you have a creative space with a lot of possibilities, it will be invaded by disgusting or criminal people. Discord is not better. It's really sad. I don't mind content for adults on these platforms but minors somehow need to be protected.
@@Iguanodon-fb7rs I started really watching HB at 13 and first watched the pilot of HH at either 11 or 12 (I already knew of most of the things in it), and was fine
I went to my local Fan Con a few months ago and when I was eating my lunch I saw a family in line to buy food and there was a young person (probably 9-11) cosplaying Fizzarolli from Helluva Boss. I was a bit alarmed because no child should be watching that show and this kid’s parents had to have known about it since the kid was in full cosplay. Like I don’t think that children should be watching adult cartoons like HB and HH but even if they do, I don’t think they should cosplay a character from it. Fizz is pretty sexualized in the show (he literally has sex bots modeled after him) and a minor cosplaying that could be dangerous
I'm 14+ and i watched both hh and hb, both are great shows but, i totally agree with you that kids shouldn't watch these shows. I mean, there are minors (13+ or 14+) that can handle this stuff pretty fine and don't do any stupid stuff in the fandom (Cosplaying being an example.). And in my opinion these kind of people can be allowed to watch it but then again, These shows can have very negative effects on minors and sometimes even some adults who oftenly imitate behavior from the things they watch. I knew a few minors and adults who showed innapropiate behavior after watching these shows. So everyone stay safe and keep an eye on what you watch and can handle regardless of your age!
Thank you for talking about this and how this isn't for kids. I kept telling my ex-friends this isn't a show our age and they didn't care and on discord that isn't even for her age and I feel like this show change half or her whole appearance of the way she acted towards me. And I stopped watching this because as someone with autism I felt like it was a bad influence for me and I started hating this show because my opinion was always hated but also it was just not for me and I felt disgusted that my friends made me watch something this inappropriate when I told I didn't want but they always force me to do and leave me out of it and I stopped being friends with them due to them being disgusting ( by that they also were doing the angel dust dance and wanted the costume and they really like singing the song.) I know I can't control what they do and only myself, but this show every way just disgusted me since I stopped watching but also if your my age (15 or in early teen or just a kid.), ITS OK TO TELL YOUR FRIENDS NO BUT DON'T SAY YES FOR THERE SATISFACTION OR BECAUSE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS SHOW TO MAKE YOUR FRIENDS HAPPY.
The way Erika looked so shocked when the nine year old started asking that question. I feel so bad for that nine year old who is definitely not able to even fully process the show is being allowed to ask those types of questions, with their parents knowledge. Who knows what creeps did with that? I fully agree with you cosplay from hazbin hotel and minors are very unsafe. (Note: if none of this makes sense I’m sorry I’m just in shock about that ig instance and don’t know how to word a lot of things rn 😃)
Yes I have seen a lot of kids on VRchat playing as hazbin characters and it’s very sad. ( I’m 15 and I was into the show for a little but I’m trying to get away from it + I have not watched the full show, only the plot) and I have a friend who is younger then me and he really believes I’m foxy from FNAF so I have to stay in character and I seen him be in hazbin worlds and avatars and I have to tell him “hey! You shouldn’t be watching that show it’s bad!” This is a very good video! This needs to be more heard!
THANK YOU FOR THISSSSSS please god. There’s so many kids here, as an ADULT I am so so freaking uncomfortable! And im not talking seventeen year olds! I’m talking TWELVE YEAR OLDS. HS FRESHMEN IF NOT YOUNGER. Animation 👏 is 👏 for 👏 everyone 👏 NOT JUST KIDS
Fun fact, when I was younger I actually WAITED until I got to the age of an adult and after just watching the pilots at the time. I still remember myself saying. "Wow, I'm so happy I waited until I could watch it." I'm a adult now. But were aware of it and decided to wait thanks to a past experience that I went through in the past. (Mlp smiles... if you know, you know. -_-) I learned to be more careful from there on. So I fully understand what you mean and stood by the beliefs to wait. Granted, I only had to wait for a year, but it was worth it.
Thank you for putting this up and saying how dangerous it is and how cons should be more careful who they let in especially for an adult based content and how everyone needs to be careful for children. Hazbin Hotel is the best but we need to be careful for young people
Dude, at one of my recent conventions I was selling art prints, including prints of the Vee’s, and this 11 year old boy comes up to my table and starts talking about how VALENTINO is his favourite character! I kind of looked at his mom like “Girl wtf-“ and she had the most nonchalant look on her face! I don’t sell Hazbin/Helluva prints to minors because they really shouldn’t be watching those things and I’m not selling children prints if characters from very adult shows
Finally someone is talking about this especially as both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss have adult ratings as they are adult cartoons that shouldn’t ever be watched by minors.
I was at the Galaxycon Q&A when the "incident" happened. For those who were wondering "where were the parents?", Alex asked her that and she pointed to where she was sitting. the parents were at the Q&A and were fine and consented to her watching the show (from what i could tell from being in the audience). I would LIKE to assume they watch it with her but they seem to be fine with it, especially enough to take her to a Q&A panel for a show like Hazbin. Before her questions there was a lot of cursing and talk of some of the inapropriate stuff not for children so if the parents were uncomfortable with her hearing that they wouldve already left the pannel. The panel itself wasnt labeled 18+ so they let minors in. I myself am actually a minor who is a Hazbin Hotel fan and I went with my mother. I dont watch the shows with my mom or family because its not their cup of tea but they are aware i watch some adult animation (like South Park, i watch that with my dad from time to time) and they know how i feel about certain aspects of them and how i avoid certain scenes and stuff when possible (ie. skipping over certain things that make me uncomfortable, or stop watching if i get uncomfortable) I have a very good relationship with my mother and i openly talk to my mom about things if they make me uncomfortable so she trusts me. one of the cast members in the panel mentioned how a girl and her mother watched the show together as a bonding experience and they have discussions about the abuse and relationship between angel and val and if thats the sort of relationship the girl in the incident and her mother have then thats great! I feel like she shouldnt be watching the show at all especially with her being 9 years old but if its something she was watching with a parent then thats out of our control. As long as its something the adult/gaurdien consents to and does with them then i'd say itd be somewhat okay as long is it in a safe environment. Although i dont think they should be cosplaying characters from Hazbin Hotel for the same reasons, but that goes in general cosplaying at a young age. When i was 11-13 i would cosplay a lot (not from hazbin but other fanoms) and i evetually stopped because my mother interfered and told me it wasnt good for me. I used it as a way of being a different person and it made me feel better about myself but it wasnt exactly the best coping mechanism. and my mother stepped in before i ended up cosplaying anything i shouldnt or doing anything i shouldnt (especailly with how much internet acsess i had). im not saying minors shouldnt cosplay at all, but they should be very VERY careful when it comes to it. But they should definetly avoid cosplaying very sexual characters like Angel Dust and if they do the shouldnt post the photos because people could do anything with those. And that goes for all cosplays aswell but mainly sexual ones and characters conected to sexual things. Personally as a young beginer in cosplaying, i would love to cosplay characters from Hazbin, infact i thought about going as Vaggie for halloween but im probably going to wait a few years before cosplaying those characters for the saftey of myself. And im gonna be honest, i genuinely enjoy the series both Hazbin and Helluva and intend on continuing the series becuase they are very entertaining, and Ive been a fan of these actors for years and i love seeing the direction theyre going in! But i am going to stay very careful when interacting with the fandom. Ive met so many weird fans of the show already within the past 2-3 years of eing into them and ever since ive been extremely careful since.
As someone who is 16 I wanted to watch the pilot when I was younger but didn't because I wanted to wait. I do want to cosplay lute. But even if I do. I'd only post it on a private Tiktok account with ONLY TRUSTED people following it. Because yes, it is dangerous for !minors to be cosplaying hazbim hotel characters ( ill finish the comment later)
As a minor who enjoys hazbin hotel and helluva boss, I completely agree with everything you’re saying about the cons. Honestly, I love helluva boss so much. I’ve been watching it since the pilot was six months old. But little kids going to the cons? Not only that, using foul language? Honestly, I don’t thing children should be cosplaying or going to any cons at all. There’s some nasty people out there that could take advantage of an alone kid in a cosplay of an adult character, they could even ‘roleplay’. I do engage in the fandom quite a bit, but I’d never repeat any words I see on helluva or hazbin and I always ask my parents about words I don’t understand, (to fellow young fans, please don’t Google the words. The images are disturbing and the definitions might lead to more questions.) Yeah, anyway. I don’t think it’s right that parents are letting their children go to cons, IN COSPLAYS surrounded by adults.
I feel it matters the age of the minor and how mature they are if they can’t handle or don’t know certain subjects in adult media then THEY DONT NEED TO WATCH IT because they are not ready. For example when I was teenager I was into a lot of Musicals and my parents knew this and knew that certain musicals had explicit content that wasn’t suitable for certain people my age at the time but, they knew I understood WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND WHAT THEY WERE SAYING AND THAT THESE SCENARIOS OR ACTIONS COULD HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE AND COULD BE OVER DRAMATICALLY OVER THE TOP FOR THE SCENARIOS HAPPENING IN THAT MUSICAL. Other then most of these kids in the Hazbin fandom where they are being pressured into acting older then they actually are since now kid’s their age are using makeup and other social media platforms that they can’t be on and then get exposed to explicit adult media that wasn’t needed to be seen by them.
Possible unpopular opinion, idc that HH’s general rating is 16+ - all Hazbin Hotel (and heck, even Helluva Boss) panels should be 18+ restricted; even if that is seen as “isolating” and “gatekeeping” We can’t control what minors watch, but we CAN (to some extent) control how accessible it is (i.e. R-rated movies)
There are a few criteria for rating a show. To be 18+ you generally need to have either explicit sex scenes, that shot in ep 4 is debateable some would argue that we just see kissing and that is the reason the episode is 18+ or implied sex scenes plus extreme violence, unlike helluva hazbin doesn't really have extreme violence. The shot of Vaggie loosing her eye is shiluette and the closest thing we get are two stabbings which is something even some kids shows have done (like CentaurWorld and Amphibia) Even shows like BoJack Horseman which people consider to be an adult show is actually 15+
@@bdariamihaelaThe probably most "explicit" sex scene we have is when Val is raping angel and the second bridge up to the chorus in Poison. I dont think anything else was worse than that in any of the other episodes since episode 4 was the only one with the 18+ rating. While I wish there were more sensitive topics in Hazbin, I also dont for the sake of kids' innocence. If kids were watching an episode worse than episode 4, it might cause them to want to do that themsekves just to try it out.
Exactly- I think that fact that it's on YT makes it worse because it's such an easy accessable app to watch literally anything whether good or bad. Kids will literally know how to skip ads and change their ages on apps, they'll pretty much know how to get through the internet like that.
as I see if your child is under 10 and does not have an understanding of the show you should not let them watch it. no questions asked. as you can see from my pfp I do watch hazbin hotel, no, im not 16. im 12, (a bit concerning yes) and have an understanding of the show. i sat down and talked with my parents about it, the other day me and my mother sat down and had a convo about the lore of hazbin hotel and helluva boss ext. my parents did sit down and do research about it as well. what im saying is just make sure you\your parents know to context of whats in the show. (just some info ig? also sorry for bad grammar) also it does make me question why that other young girl was aloud in the con at the first place? another thing, I got my parents to watch the first few episodes to let them know what I was getting myself into. one thing i regret deeply is telling my younger brother about hazbin hotel (he's 10). he is a bit immature for his age and I repeatedly told him that it was not okay as he doesnt understand this stuff. (also sorry for this long ass paragraph.)
I think it's really brave for you to tell your parents about watching something like this cuz me personally, I could never. I usually watch stuff related to Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss like reviews, reactions, cosplays ext. in private and I make sure none of it is in my watch history. I mean, I am 14 so my parents would probably be ok with it if I told them. Besides, I have a very dirty mind and understand alot of mature concepts and my parents used to forget that alot but recently when I lost internet at my house, I played cards against humanity with my family (in case you don't know what that is, it's basically a game where you have to read messages on cards and alot of them kind of inappropriate) and there were alot moments where my parents were like "I don't think I should say this in front my children" or something along those lines and when we were done playing my mom said we handled it surprisingly well. Sorry I just went on a bit of a tangent but what i was trying to say is because of us playing together, I think they trust me a lot more. Now the only reason I watch HH/HB content by myself is because my brother makes fun of me and says they're stupid shows for gay people. Anyways, thanks if you or anyone else took time out their day to read this, I know it was probably very time consuming but I hope you enjoy the rest of day 😊😊😊
I grew up watching adult cartoons/sitcoms with my father (Futurama, king of the hill, big bang theory, etc) so I’m used to more mature themes, especially growing up in a household with restricted access to the internet. My father searched my iPad a few months ago and was not even an ounce concerned by the hazbin and helluva stuff I had been yapping about which I’m quite shocked with 😭 But I believe nobody under the age of 13 should be watching Hazbin or Helluva at all.
i'm 12 and i watched all episodes, I didn't got traumatized and actually enjoyed it. But i still advise to not wacht it. mostly episode 4. my friend is 9 almost turning 10. And she wachted the full show, i told her to not but she would't listen. she really changed after watching it. i didn't change bc of the show i'm being myself. unlike her. she even told me "your not my mom, stop talking you're bullsh*t" and i was like- girl you're almost 3 yeard younger than me? i know what i'm doing. and more info i can't give cause that's personal.
Im 16 now i discovered helluva and hazbin when i was 14 and i always felt like it matched my humor and it never felt uncomfy or anything just fun but then again ppl are different andd i have cosplayed millie (16yo) i didnt post about it tho just some instagram stories of the progress and some lil pics/vids from wearing it and i made a stolas mask (also 16 yo but later) and i posted a few pics of it on my priv instagram acc and i have thought about cosplaying characters like angel bc it would be so fun But i think Im gonna do it when Im at least 18 for various reasons (Not only bc of angel spesifically being more sexual But for other reasons too)
Thank you so much because my older sister showed me the show doing a skit with my friends in the show comparing us with these characters while she liked my friend.....she made a skit of me and my friends doing something innerproptet in hzb hotel or hevla bs.....shes 18 and she tried to lie to my mom that it was me who wrote it and now i hate this show i have a piece of ptsd from this and when i see on yt of people having hzb hotel flags or hazbin hotel I just freak out and try to delete all of the content that does up on my fyp but nothing works...
People needs to wake up and realize that animated shows, especially Hazbin Hotel is never meant to be kids, these kids needs to learn that they can’t have everything.
Not all cases are kids wanting to have everything. A lot of older kids they are May watch it and want to fit in. They are not being supervised or being allowed apps like TikTok were probably the most Haz in hotel fandom is based from. Kids want to watch cartoons it’s up to the parents to stop them.
I am not trying to hate on you. Just so you know. So, I am a minor. I am allowed to watch hazbin Hotel and Helluva boss. I don't cosplay or anything, but I want to soon. But with my parents they let me watch it but they will probably never let me cosplay angel dust. My parents are very protective over me. But the only thing I do with these shows is make edits and art. I also understand this stuff, so yeah. My parents have also seen this as well. I completely respect people's thoughts. I can't change people's minds.
Just be more cautious on who you befriend on the internet. And don't give out any personal information that can be directly identified back to you. I'm sure you already understand this but I know that it's hard to manage in application because you want to create a safe space for yourself online. I know because I've seen it happen to my friends before when we were young despite understanding the dangers the internet poses.
I’m in the age range of the show but still underage, I get your points but for me I love the story overall. Angel dust is my favorite besides Alastor , he’s someone I can relate to, as I have my own addictions and challenges, watching his growth was really touching for me personally. I think 16+ is ok for the show because you should be mature enough to handle it by then, but anything younger than that should really be discouraged. I think it just depends on the person and their maturity level.
In fairness, 15+ is the official rating for the show I believe, For most episodes anyway, so I absolutely understand your side on this. I think as long as you are being safe and aware primarily of how you engage in the fandom, watching it at your age isn't necessarily inherently dangerous. It's more the risks it can pose towards the adults that you may meet in the fandom if you are out there cosplaying and being directly involved with other fans. Stay safe! 🙌🏼
I think the point is that you don't magically wake up one day on your 15th/16th/18th/whatever birthday magically ready for this stuff and immune to the potential consequences, it's entirely about staying safe and healthy while living your best life.
This actually came up before a smaller anime convention in my home town, where a parent actually tried to (not just kids) But try to get the convention staff to ban everyone from any Hazbin Hotel cosplay happening on the Facebook group for it.
I personally feel as though if a minor wanted to watch a show such as hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss, they could talk to their parents about it. Now, when I say minors, I mean individuals over the age of 14. I feel as though no one under the age of 16 should watch ither of the shows but the only rel reason shows and movies have ratings is because the content of that show or movie is intended for an older mind set. I feel as though if a 15 year old is mature enough to understand what is happening in the show, then they can watch it. As for me in the 5th grade, I did an essay on sexual assault. In the 6th grade, I did an essay on child abuse . In the 7th grade, I did a study on how we can keep children safe as well as an improved child abuse essay . As a victim of those social issues, I was a whole lot more mature in middle school because of what I went through. I would have understood the topics of this show. I do agree with the accessibility of these shows, especially Helluva's boss. Helluva boss can be found on any UA-cam account, for the content is not age restricted. The themes of the show are differently not for children. But I feel as though the child is ready for that content. There is no need to shelter them from it.
100% not suitable for children. It is scary what children watch these days. I know some that watch stuff they shouldn't do. Love Hazbin Hotel it's for Adults though!! Maybe re watching it again for the how many times 🤫xx
Im a minor and i was allowed to watch it because i can relate to most of the characters (including Angel due to things my uncle did to me when i was younger.)
Honestly as long as you are mature enough to understand that you shouldnt do these things irl (especially what val dies to Angel), then I believe you could watch it but you have to be careful
Honestly yes, i watch both shows, yes i am a young teen, and yes, i know not to expected or react in the actions from these shows into realife. Yet i do regret watching them and wished i waited untill i was older but i never engage in the fandom, cosplay draw or make anything to do with the shows, i just watch them, i know the risks. But i do think they have a good plot, script, characters, and humor that minors would not understand or find relatable, i do find find younger minors watching, engaging in the fandom is unsettling and wonder how their parents allow them to do it. But by making my statements im not trying to make what i do(did) better than it really is.
Thank you! I have been asked by people if I think it’s appropriate for their kids and I say “no.” When you google, there are a number of reviews that say 14+, and I disagree with that. I have told people that I do not feel it is appropriate for anyone under 18. Amazon itself says 16+ on every episode except for episode four, which is 18+. I see a big issue with that, because if any of it is 18+ then all of it should be 18+. Do you think that anyone is going to notice that and only let their child watch episodes one through three and then episodes five through eight? That doesn’t even make sense. Why would one specific episode, be rated as inappropriate in a show like this where you need every episode for context. It’s not like suggesting parental guidance for one “very special episode“ as is often done, this is something that is just not appropriate for minors to view in the middle of a show that they’re saying is appropriate for minors, virtue of saying age 16 and up. I see so many to 14-year-olds who have watched this show and they are not mature enough to really process what they are seeing, and I do not think that is fair to the children who are seeing it.
I am 14 yrs old kid who watched both shows(helluva and hazbin) and i honestly regret it. Worst thing is that my younger sister and cousin were looking into my phone. I not only ruined my own childhood but also theirs.
Yeah I am a minor whos watched the show. Mostly because i heard about Angel Dust being a sa victim , being one myself i thought itd be comforting to find a show that covers it and a character to relate to. And it is, although over time ive grown a much bigger understanding and maturity to it that i didnt have. Of course im still a bit immature but mentally ive changed incredibly fast and have been mistaken as an adult SO many times online because of it. Im glad that im so much more open minded because of it now and i 100% agree with you. Look if the show is 16+ i guess you could cosplay as other characters but just PLEASE not Angel. He is a sex worker and a minor child should NOT be cosplaying a sex worker, especially if they are in their late teenage years they could be mistook as a child. As much as I love Angel, Val etc and cosplay I'd never cosplay them until im 18 them being in the sex industry. I've been to loads of conventions and the amounts of kids I've seen cosplaying from the Hellaverse was concerning. There was a 16+ hazbin meetup and the people who organised it were very strict about it (+ had discord server for after the meetup which was 18+) but there were so many -16 people there. A 12 year old, 12!! Cosplaying Angel because i assumed they were older but still asked in case. I could tell all the adults were MEGA uncomfy and I even heard the Val cosplayers muttering to eachother how that child shouldnt have been dressed up as Angel. And at the latest convention i saw a kid who was atleast 8 with their dad dressed as Angel too. Parents really dont monitor their kids anymore or dont care its awful. And a toddler as Moxxie.. Also with parents dressing up their toddlers as Niffty is MESSED UP!! "she looks and acts like a 7 year old" shes actively shown to be very sexual, and into bdsm. She has a body of a woman shes just short. What kind of 7 year old is build like that and is into bdsm?? This fucking fandom needs to get their shit together its insane. Dont get me started on judgement of Valentino cosplayers. the owner of my fav stand at a con usually goes as Val and when they posted about it they were getting death threats and all sorts of stuff its INSANE and so unnecary and inhumane, the person is an absolute sweetheart. Luckily they didnt care to much about it but its still disgusting. Honestly not surprised this fandom has such a bad rep , especially because of tiktok oh my fucking god
A friend of mine was cosplaying alastor one day, and a little girl walked up and said "I love hasbin hotel! My favorite character is angel dust!" And my friend was like whu, why is this child watching angel dust!? Something is not right here.
I couldn’t agree more, kids should not be watching content that strictly warns it’s not for their age demographic. This is a very informative video on the subject!
Yeah this situation has concerned me for a minute as someone who accidentally left a pin of angeldust out for there cousin to accidentally see and was told she saw clips of the pilot (this was before the show came out) she was asking me if she could watch it n told me she’d seen adult cartoons before ended up showing it to her idk how much shorts she’s seen on her own time or by friends showing her since the shows come out to think I’d never know she’d seen clips if I hadn’t left my pin showing by accident 🤷🏼
my God . I am an adult cosplayer in Iran and I know how important this is and I have explained it to my friends and other cosplayers several times, but it is useless because even 9-year-olds see this show and they mockingly say that it is not something special.
Are you saying The amazing digital Circus is an adult cartoon??? GltchX said in one of there live streams that they tried to have a cartoon that was actually for a younger audience this time. But they still wanted it to be enjoyable for adults so they added some adult jokes and the no swearing rule.
Age ratings don’t really help anymore 😭 As a minor myself (who isn’t even 17) I watch it and find it completely fine and understandable. (Probably bc the world is messing up kids minds) I think a mature kid could watch it but definitely not 10 or younger (just my opinion, don’t attack me) And honestly, younger minors cosplaying (mostly angel) if not ok.
So I am a minor who watched the show, however, I didn’t regret watching it because it was an amazing show. But I don’t cosplay and my parents have absolutely no idea.
As a pedagogue I'm working with a lot of children and teenagers. And many of them talk about Hazbin Hotel, share their favorite characters and scenes... It is a fine line when trying to have a connection with them through their interests while encouraging safety. Thank you for this video. It really is a great summary of the problem. Keep them safe instead of pushing them away
I would just like to say THANK YOU for explaining it in this way. I have seen a few people talk about it but it was always in the “This is completely wrong and should never happen! You children are invading adult spaces!” Type of way, and as a teen who is still technically a minor I always felt really guilty watching those, and like I was making people upset by enjoying the show. So thank you for explaining that the main issue is more online safety (and obviously knowing your own limitations for this stuff and not watching anything too mature for you). Everyone is a bit different and so it’s okay if you know YOU are ready for it and that you don’t post anything that could be explicit.
As a 14 year old who likes the shows, I'm being made guilty by the wonderful comment section x_x I don't feel guilty watching the show xD, (also pardon if it sounds rude, I sometimes do)
As a 13 year old I legit loveee hazbin i don't see the problem. I've had my own share of experiences already but nothing too too bad but like my 1st kiss i've had blah blah blah but more like i know what everything is and i'm mature about it so I get the concern but honestly try helluva boss for better context. I've seen that too. I even watched it with my grandma after I saw the whole series of both up until today and they don't really care aslong as I don't go out about it or chat about it to the point where i'd be able to explain the shows to younger kids, but yeah.
as a person who is only just under the recommended age of 16, i love this show. i love the plot and the characters so much, however there is certainly...questionable content. i am mature enough watching it myself, but i think it is totally wrong for me and other people my age and under to cosplay as some of the characters due to how questionable they are (ahem ahem angel). not to mention 9 years old is WAYYY too young to watch this show at all, since they don't even understand what's going on! there should be a recommended age, but also a "absolutely no one under this age should watch this" thing, ya know?
i’m 15 and i’ve watched hazbin hotel (i haven’t watched helluva boss) i did enjoy it but i totally see what you’re talking about. i have seen on tiktok literal 12 year olds and others cosplaying from this show, specifically angel dust who is exploited a whole lot during the show. a nine year old should not know about any of this sort of stuff. hazbin hotel is a 15+ i believe, except episode 4 which is 18+. parents need to be monitoring what kids are watching. i don’t think any minors should be cosplaying angel dust, he’s an 18+ character and his whole character is just very sexual. we can’t stop people from watching the show, but we all need to stay safe. as a cosplayer, i want to cosplay angel dust but i’m not planning to until i am of an adult age. people just need to be mindful, there’s a lot of horrible people who could use your photos in dangerous and risky ways.
I am 15 years old and I have been in the fandom for around two years starting with helluva boss. I agree with you that it’s a bit too adult even for my age with Heluva episodes like spring broken and the start of harvest moon. Hazbin hotel is much for story driven then Cheap dark humor but it still has it’s moments. Episodes like Mascurade are the ones that are truly not kid friendly were as the heaven episode is much more kid friendly but still adult. I think this show is fit for ages 18 and up. I understand the hipocracy of a 15 saying it it for 18 but even through I love the show it is a little adult even for my age.
this is actually so real bcs have 2 cousins(7 and 8) who has watched every single episode. Im shocked as everyone is and im actually concerned for other children getting baited to watch it
I was talking to my friend about Hazbin hotel the other day and she was like "oh yeah, me and my daughter love watching that show together. My daughter especially loves it." Um... excuse me? Your daughter is 8 years old!
I'm a minor still and I got introduced to the show when I was very young. I have mixed feelings about me being in the fandom. While I know I probably shouldn't be watching it, at the same time the show comforted me with It's characters-Specifically Angel dust- I know that sounds concerning but at the time I was already dealing with alot in my life. The show gave me someone I could relate to. Angel Dust made me feel less alone and helped me navigate how I felt back then. He also helps me with my dysphoria with the whole "chest fluff everyone thinks are t¡ts" stuff. I know that the show is not at all made for people my age but watching it makes me feel a little more okay in this crooked world.
even tho im 16 i still got introduced to this series and helluva boss when i was 14 or 13 but i agree kids should not engage with this fandom because of saftey more than anything else
As a minor, I have watched both shows, when I first watched Helluva Boss, yes there was swearing, but then of course there were some adult content. I was 14 when I first started watching it. I still love the show. When hazbin hotel came out my niece who is 7 found out about it. I clearly tell her that it's not for her, yes she knows what it's about, which is Charlie wanting to redeem sinners, but that's it. I usually try to avoid watching helluva or hazbin when my niece is around. I feel like I am mature to know that hazbin and helluva have these kinds of topics and I know the cosplayers like to role play, I would love to cosplay but I know I can't right now, I will wait until I am 18 or older to actually cosplay a helluva or hazbin character. My dad is religious, so he says that hazbin is tricking kids to believe that the real lucifer is good and angels are bad. I CLEARLY tell him that first, it's not for kids, two, it's a show, we know that real life lucifer is evil but it's just a show, an adult show. Back with the topic, I wish I was older when watching hazbin and helluva, yes we can't stop every child from watching this, my dad was watching a movie and I just so happen to be in the living room when a s3x scene popped up, he didn't know it would happen, I quickly closed my eyes but of course I did see a little bit. So as a minor who has watched both shows, I wish I was older to watch it.
As a minor less than 2 years away from being an adult seeing a literally not even teenager... ask questions I wasnt even comfortable thinking about till I was 13. Makes me honestly mortified. I personally watch the show and cosplay but I do know the risks and would never post my body online without several things in place. I recently went to a smaller con and cosplayed there with parents present. I think personally the 16+ thing is perfect. That I think is around the age minors should be able to talk about this stuff WITH OTHER. MINORS not. With adults. I dont think it's the best idea to cosplay but I know it can be safe with precautions. I agree with this video. and I hate seeing so many literal not even teenagers cosplaying this.. it's not safe. I've had situations where because of something I did in a fandom online I've had creeps ask me things. Online safety and real life safety is my number one concern. Spread awareness. Thanks for coming to my tedtalk
I,m 12 and on one hand I do think myself this isn't for kids buuut.......I,M WEAK I CAN'T HELP IT I UNDERSTAND TO MUCH!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Shame on me (╥﹏╥) but I do listen to other people opinion on things I do keep things to myself and I do understand enough not to do dangerous things but still.... shame on me
For example. What if someone is a pedo but you don’t understand what that is. If you know about things you can tell people about what happened when other kids blame themselves
ALSO I HAVE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHILD AT THE GALAXY CON! THE PARENTS WERE THERE AND ACTUALLY HAD THE NERVE TO WAVE AT THE CAST AFTER THE WERE EXTREMELY CONCERNED ABOUT THE CHILD ASKING THAT!!!!
It's really concerning on how many minors know and watch Hazbin, yet alone cosplaying, it's concerning since they might come across uncomfortable or creepy situations, it already happens in general but the fact they're cosplaying characters from a show made for mature audiences just makes it worse
I don’t want to say my age, but I am mature for my age, I’m in my teens but under 16, I’ve always been older than my number age, this is the one thing that helps with the depression
I don't have depression (at least I think), but this show really helps with my concentration. But also with anxiety, or just when I am feeling down and really need something to perk me up.
As a 14 year old I completely agree But I’ve been taught not to take actions in tv shows and movies into real life The sad thing is I’ve been exposed to shows like this since a very young age.. My dad would turn on adult shows for me ever since I was 6 Bc he was irresponsible My mom cared she would only let me watch PG things and she went through my UA-cam every week as she should She isn’t too worried about what I watch now- bc she’s told me what I can and can’t watch She’s seen the age rating on Hazbin I believe she’s seen the trailer as well I let her listen to some songs She thinks it’s okay she’s just a little concerned for my mental health 😂 But I wouldn’t post a picture of me cosplaying any character from the series until I’m at least 18 Especially Angel- Please youngsters if you are reading this be safe and be careful of what you watch!! Remember don’t take actions you see in tv shows or movies into real life!! Don’t repeat anything if you know it’s inappropriate!! Thx for reading!
For someone who is on twitter constantly (never gonna call it X) there are so many popular minors apart of the fandom that it absolutely worried me... it can get both parties in trouble but can lead to the adults being at fault, especially if a minor is faking their age.. as much as I loved the fandom, these kids cannot be apart of it, and they feel like we hate them. It's not that we hate you, it's more so that we are scared of you, because we can get in trouble for interacting with kids. WHY WOUKD I EVEN DISCUSS HAZBIN WITH A KID!? anyways thank you for coming to my Ted talk 😭
After filming this video I came across @eeloftheworld 's video on this very subject! Like I said in the video, we all need to be talking about this and I'm so glad to see it being spoken out by more cosplayers! Here's her video here - ua-cam.com/video/oBG2EWbOiUA/v-deo.htmlsi=PIdQNBJ1FRNL5dyb
If there are any other good creators or resources to help please let me know! UA-cam failed me in the search bar clearly when doing my research! We need our voices to be pushed up rather than diminished in a sea of preacher nonsense! 🫂 Stay safe out there!
Hazbin Hotel is not for kids
The fact, I’m seeing this video right now after going to TikTok and watching a hasbin hotel kid video is so funny to me and thank you for making this
Guess what nobody gives a shit
Age pacific show or thing you can't see until your right age is wrong, I mean I got Mortal Kombat when I was 11 and watched Hellofa Boss at 17 and I turned out just fine.

People need to learn that just because something is animated doesn't mean it's kid-friendly
aaaaaaaand?
@@BellaGallagher-gw4mmaaaand what?
for real! and they say: IT NEEDS TO BE MORE KID LIKE 😡.... like stfu. its for adults to make them laugh..
Wow. That rant almost made me forget that I don’t care
@@BellaGallagher-gw4mm But you cared enough to reply. So I guess there's that.
The fact people were laughing about the clearly very young girl going up on stage and asking a question like this also makes me uncomfortable
I think its part the sheer shock and absurdity of the situation that caused laughter and no one thought about✨️✨️✨️ THE IMPLICATIONS ✨️✨️✨️
I know I'm an adult right now but I'm not going to answer anything I have speech frightening or stage frightening 😰😣

And I stopped watching this because as someone with autism I felt like it was a bad influence for me and I started hating this show because my opinion was always hated but also it was just not for me and I felt disgusted that my friends made me watch something this inappropriate when I told I didn't want but they always force me to do and leave me out of it and I stopped being friends with them due to them being disgusting ( by that they also were doing the angel dust dance and wanted the costume and they really like singing the song.)
I know I can't control what they do and only myself, but this show every way just disgusted me since I stopped watching but also if your my age (15 or in early teen or just a kid.), ITS OK TO TELL YOUR FRIENDS NO BUT DON'T SAY YES FOR THERE SATISFACTION OR BECAUSE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS SHOW TO MAKE YOUR FRIENDS HAPPY.
The way Erika looked so shocked when the nine year old started asking that question. I'm a adult now. But were aware of it and decided to wait thanks to a past experience that I went through in the past.

I learned to be more careful from there on.

I don’t sell Hazbin/Helluva prints to minors because they really shouldn’t be watching those things and I’m not selling children prints if characters from very adult shows
Good 🗿
It's just a print, why not sell it? They've obviously already watched the show...
Finally someone is talking about this especially as both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss have adult ratings as they are adult cartoons that shouldn’t ever be watched by minors.
I’m so lucky that I’m already an adult (33 years old) by the time this show came out.

Thank you so much for sharing your side! 🙌🏼 Stay safe out there!

The shot of Vaggie loosing her eye is shiluette and the closest thing we get are two stabbings which is something even some kids shows have done (like CentaurWorld and Amphibia)
Even shows like BoJack Horseman which people consider to be an adult show is actually 15+
Hazbin Hotel is truly for adults not for kids
(just some info ig? also sorry for bad grammar)
also it does make me question why that other young girl was aloud in the con at the first place?
another thing, I got my parents to watch the first few episodes to let them know what I was getting myself into.
one thing i regret deeply is telling my younger brother about hazbin hotel (he's 10). he is a bit immature for his age and I repeatedly told him that it was not okay as he doesnt understand this stuff.
@JustEvelynAndArt oh yes, I understand my parents I strict about private stuff on the internet, so ik☆♡☺️
There are some younger teens that do have the maturity level to watch this, but it does make sense for people 16+ to watch it
This actually came up before a smaller anime convention in my home town, where a parent actually tried to (not just kids) But try to get the convention staff to ban everyone from any Hazbin Hotel cosplay happening on the Facebook group for it.
I'm 14💀 and I'm going to be Alastor for Halloween but I can't find it! And I still Watch Hazbin hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im a minor and i was allowed to watch it because i can relate to most of the characters (including Angel due to things my uncle did to me when i was younger.)
I often think it's fine to watch the shows I'd you can comprehend and understand the characters and their emotions. (Im a minor too)
@@SatansRightHand yeah.
Thank you! I have been asked by people if I think it’s appropriate for their kids and I say “no.”
When you google, there are a number of reviews that say 14+, and I disagree with that.
Ooof
Thats sad
(as a 14 year old too) I loved them both 😭 so do my fellow 14 year old friends x_x
@@Francesca-ob2iu Like me too, but i am too young
@@fiszafisz meep I enjoyed it for my age surprisingly but Oki :3
Goosework''s said the target audience for TADC is for weird people in their 20's.
@@CreatorsanGlitch has stated it's target was 13+ and doesn't disallow kids from watching it either. TinyAntenas is correct. It's an all ages show.
@@TheUnmitigatedDawn thank you
Digital circus is 13+ ? But they censored it but not murder drones
Age ratings don’t really help anymore 😭
As a minor myself (who isn’t even 17) I watch it and find it completely fine and understandable. (Probably bc the world is messing up kids minds)
I think a mature kid could watch it but definitely not 10 or younger (just my opinion, don’t attack me)
And honestly, younger minors cosplaying (mostly angel) if not ok.
This not for kids
I wholeheartedly agree that this show is not for kids by any means kids should not be watching this or cosplaying these characters.
Is an adult show
So I am a minor who watched the show, however, I didn’t regret watching it because it was an amazing show. But I don’t cosplay and my parents have absolutely no idea.
Thank you for making this video and talking about why it is a problem and the danger.
And I'm not going to hell!
i’m 15 and i’ve watched hazbin hotel (i haven’t watched helluva boss) i did enjoy it but i totally see what you’re talking about. i have seen on tiktok literal 12 year olds and others cosplaying from this show, specifically angel dust who is exploited a whole lot during the show. a nine year old should not know about any of this sort of stuff. hazbin hotel is a 15+ i believe, except episode 4 which is 18+. parents need to be monitoring what kids are watching. i don’t think any minors should be cosplaying angel dust, he’s an 18+ character and his whole character is just very sexual. we can’t stop people from watching the show, but we all need to stay safe. as a cosplayer, i want to cosplay angel dust but i’m not planning to until i am of an adult age. people just need to be mindful, there’s a lot of horrible people who could use your photos in dangerous and risky ways.
Well done for covering this.
I watched a video the other day of a Hazbin Hotel panel at a con. There was a literal child in the front row. Like...parents, where you at?
😭😭😭😭😭😭 Shame on me (╥﹏╥) but I do listen to other people opinion on things I do keep things to myself and I do understand enough not to do dangerous things but still.... shame on me
No shame. Understanding things is good, it just means you’re better off than the other kids. BTW I’m 13
You can’t be older than your age 😭
@@minkinns8438 wow the more you know
And there is 3RD GRADERS WATCHING IT TOO LIKE WHAT?!
I couldn’t agree more thanks for making this. Also can you do more loki cosplay videos.
“Hazbin hotel needs to stop! Kids are finding it” they shouldn’t be, so look at your kid’s iPad and PARENT YOUR CHILD
As a 14 year old I completely agree
But I’ve been taught not to take actions in tv shows and movies into real life
The sad thing is I’ve been exposed to shows like this since a very young age..
My dad would turn on adult shows for me ever since I was 6
Bc he was irresponsible
My mom cared she would only let me watch PG things and she went through my UA-cam every week as she should
She isn’t too worried about what I watch now- bc she’s told me what I can and can’t watch
She’s seen the age rating on Hazbin I believe she’s seen the trailer as well
I let her listen to some songs
She thinks it’s okay she’s just a little concerned for my mental health 😂
But I wouldn’t post a picture of me cosplaying any character from the series until I’m at least 18
Especially Angel-
Please youngsters if you are reading this be safe and be careful of what you watch!!
Remember don’t take actions you see in tv shows or movies into real life!!
Don’t repeat anything if you know it’s inappropriate!!
Thx for reading!
Verified. :]
Thats the reason why Vivienne Medrano put a warning episodes in hh and hb and put age rating
I’m 13 so honestly I think I’m old enough to watch this
It honestly depends on the maturity too lol, I started watching South Park when I was around 15 so 😅
.me to
I watched hazbin hotel and helluva boss this year when I was 15 years old and now I turned 16
