I know. It wasn't until the tenth time that I figured out what they were saying. And I lived in the UK as kid.
It took me a couple moments to realize what they were referencing until Jordan said it the way Americans say it. Jordan said 'Cool Original' though... does that mean Cool Ranch for those of us in the USA?
I currently, and always have lived in the UK and I have never heard anyone say 'Doritos' the way William does.

@@Mercerman77I think cool original is the same as ranch or at least similar. We don’t really have ranch over here in the UK. I’m sure you could find it in some shops but most people will never have tried it so it’s definitely not a popular option

Guys I love you so much but I don’t know what has happened to the podcast, I’ve been as you know an extremely loyal G&Diva for over 3 years now, but this all seems so rehearsed and doesn’t flow naturally like it used to, I understand you have a much larger audience now but please don’t change ❤️❤️

Fred Baur had some of his ashes put in a pringles container, so he wasn't buried in a large pringles container just his ashes in a normal pringles pot.

Scallop with a hard a sound, and Scallop with the soft o sound are entirely separate words etymologically.
Scallop with a hard a is found in the north up into Scotland, and comes directly through Old Norse.
Scallop with the swallowed o vowel is found in the south, and came from Old Norse through Norman French, where it became escalope, pronounced with the swallowed French vowels.
This makes it almost an example of linguistic convergent evolution!
Doritos pronunciation in English is quite different than the US pronunciation. Took me a minute to figure it out.
