I grew up working at my dad’s auto repair shop. Apprenticing, cleaning, shop maintenance, pulling engines in the parking lot with hand tools. Some brutal days but as I get older (in my mid 40’s now) I realize that it’s probably the main reason I’m not in jail, in debt or paying a bunch of child support. My Dad knew what he was doing by putting me to work at a young age.
