I had this colour Burmese cat who lived to 22 years old and passed peacefully in bed next to me two years ago (she is also on UA-cam). They are like little dogs: You can train them to do things and to understand certain words. They are very dependent and trusting of their humans. I used to take mine for walks and trained her to sit at the kerb to wait for passing cars (a quiet road). I thought I'd die when she passed and for three years I had panic attacks at the thought of it. Last day of her life I took her to vets for an antibiotic injection and knew if she wasn't well by the next day I'd have to have her put to sleep - cue heart palpitations. I woke up in the middle of the night and she was gone. Her last gift to me. I did rush her to the vets for the injection but she was totally floppy and out of it. And all I felt was relief. Will always love her. Have two rescues now - one with one eye. :)
