Cell never said Kakarot in the anime, ever. Not the anime, nor the manga. Cell never would have said the word Kakarot to Broly, he's always called him Goku since that's his programming, thus nullifying this entire episode with cell probably killing or absorbing everyone there.

If the original movie did indeed have broly scale to cell, this would be the outcome, cell is way more intelligent. But the reason Broly would probably win is because Broly is a galaxy busting enemy, and in his lssj form, maybe even stronger, whereas cell is only solar system level. But still, amazing what if scenario that I do agree with under these circumstances
Didn't level a whole galaxy, Funimation's made people think Broly did, & there's still land there when Goku travels thru the Galaxy. He destroyed planet by planet.

To be honest Broly z would have won. think of it like this, ssj goku, vegeta, trunks, and gohan, could not even scratch broly before they gave a ton of energy to goku yet ssj goku trunks vegeta and gohan would have been able to kill cell because one goku ssj could take down the four cell clones (each around 25% of cells power) so just get in ssj gohan, trunks, and vegeta and they could take down fullpower pefect cell with the help of goku. meaning that if four ssjs can take down cell but cannot take down broly then really broly is so much stronger. i mean if we need more comparisons if vegeta did a final flash with the help of trunks and everyone else cell would have been dead yet we seein the broly z movie they cannot even do a thing to broly until they give goku all their energy which would probably equal something around goku 2-3 meaning that the power needed to defeat cell is weaker than the to power defeat broly. and some people might argue saying that super perfect cell could beat broly but nor really i mean if you had a full stamina/health gohan ssj2 he would have been noticably stronger than super pefect cell and gohan being 4x stronger than his super saiyan from in ssj2 even then broly z would be able to wreck him and this is saying that ssj2 has 200x multiplier instead of an 100x multiplier that so many people here believe he does. Ok i think that some the what ifs made here are logical and agreeable but others are not like this one. Broly the second he would have lost energy from cell's tail then broly would just get mega angry and killed cell with a gigantic meteor and then keep on shooting ki balls at him while the gigantic meteor is closing in because of how angry he would be. the only cell could have won is by teleporting broly in to the sun then leaving him to die.
Cell wasn't using all his power when he fought goku. And when cell used his max power, even goku was scared shitless, but then Gohan just released even more power completely overpowering him. So, even goku, Vegeta and trunks fighting together wouldn't have been able to defeat cell, unless they used the Genkidama or something, but cell knew that trick too so I don't know if it would work.
@@drizzy5721 we can speculate that it was mastered ssj because trunks when he was transformed into ssj he was more buff like a Super saiyan grade 3; plus due to the fact that the movie aired around the same date the cell saga did and is supposedly set in the 10 days before the cell saga.
@@MsMRkv we can compare how both character got hit by a point blank kamehameha if the people they were fighting against had the same power boost, transformation as they had in the original because we can argue that cell would lose to broly easily because broly got hit by gokus kamehameha and was unscathed whereas cell got hit by a kamehameha and was heavily damaged losing his torso and above only surviving due to his regeneration capabilities

im pretty sure that perfect cell is nowhere near broly's power, if it was the case then goku would ask gohan to get angry just like with cell, even vs super perfect cell + broly DNA wouldnt be enough at that time since broly would've gotten way more power

You can tell he isn’t the best power scaler that’s for sure. Should’ve had cell beat Gohan and absorb all the z fighters energy, absorb the rest of humanity, then travel space (because bored), destroying planets until he gets to broly. Having absorbed all the cast, humanity, and maybe a few alien races along the way, he could be galaxy level or around ssj3/kid buu. This would be a good fight for Broly.
@@JJKfan.. The movies take place in their own timelines, completely isolated from the canon events of the main timeline. Bojack is only like 10-20x planetary but is able to beat a post Cell-Games Gohan pretty soundly, this is because it’s not actually the same Gohan. The Goku that beat Broly in the movie is ASTRONOMICALLY stronger than cell games Goku because when the movie was being written, there was a misconception that Cell would be a universal threat, so to make sure that the movie wasn’t lame, Broly was a direct threat to the universe. Then it came out that Cell was only capable of wiping out a solar system and Broly was just overpowered.
i think u guys are forgetting that getting other's energy is a great powerboost, just take a look at battle of gods, goku got energy from other ssj and got a power boost way bigger than his ssj3 form, hell even gohan was impressed and he still had his ultimate form

Not sure if Broly could have survived all that in the vacuum of space. He is shown capable of traveling in space but that has more to do with his force field ability being able to trap air inside it. If it pops or if he runs out of Air it is over.
Imagine this Cell when he returns to Earth, after recovering from the supernova and gaining another zenkai boost. I think that even if Gohan goes SS2 and can use the two arms, and even if Goku goes SS2 too, they will still lose. That hypothetical Cell would be like Goku SS2 from the Buu Saga at bare minimum, probably scaling close to Majin Buu if we're being honest
Goku at SSJ2 was stronger than Majin Vegeta though in the Buu arc. You don't know how many times I've had to explain that people who throw away the context of Goku's strength at that time.
Not really that zenkai boost would be too high the fist zenkai boost made him just under ssj2 gohan a second would put him probably ssj2 vegeta without majin boost matching him to majin buu would be to high

Broly would clap Cell with ease considering that Restricted SSJ Broly is weaker than his base form and that Restricted SSJ Broly was destroying multiple galaxies, whereas Cell was only a Solar System level threat
Even Kid Buu might lose to that. Janemba could easily wreck ssj3 Goku and he forced Goku and Vegeta to fuse, something that only a handful of characters have done before. Also, Janemba is shown to have some fairly powerful magic that he can use whenever he wants.

To be honest Broly z would have won. think of it like this, ssj goku, vegeta, trunks, and gohan, could not even scratch broly before they gave a ton of energy to goku yet ssj goku trunks vegeta and gohan would have been able to kill cell because one goku ssj could take down the four cell clones (each around 25% of cells power) so just get in ssj gohan, trunks, and vegeta and they could take down fullpower pefect cell with the help of goku. meaning that if four ssjs can take down cell but cannot take down broly then really broly is so much stronger. i mean if we need more comparisons if vegeta did a final flash with the help of trunks and everyone else cell would have been dead yet we seein the broly z movie they cannot even do a thing to broly until they give goku all their energy which would probably equal something around goku 2-3 meaning that the power needed to defeat cell is weaker than the to power defeat broly. and some people might argue saying that super perfect cell could beat broly but nor really i mean if you had a full stamina/health gohan ssj2 he would have been noticably stronger than super pefect cell and gohan being 4x stronger than his super saiyan from in ssj2 even then broly z would be able to wreck him and this is saying that ssj2 has 200x multiplier instead of an 100x multiplier that so many people here believe he does. Ok i think that some the what ifs made here are logical and agreeable but others are not like this one. Broly the second he would have lost energy from cell's tail then broly would just get mega angry and killed cell with a gigantic meteor and then keep on shooting ki balls at him while the gigantic meteor is closing in because of how angry he would be. the only cell could have won is by teleporting broly in to the sun then leaving him to die.
Cell wasn't using all his power when he fought goku. And when cell used his max power, even goku was scared shitless, but then Gohan just released even more power completely overpowering him.
So, even goku, Vegeta and trunks fighting together wouldn't have been able to defeat cell, unless they used the Genkidama or something, but cell knew that trick too so I don't know if it would work.
Was dbz broly movie goku and gohan, at grade 4 ssj? Or still trying to master ssj? Because that will depend
@@drizzy5721 we can speculate that it was mastered ssj because trunks when he was transformed into ssj he was more buff like a Super saiyan grade 3; plus due to the fact that the movie aired around the same date the cell saga did and is supposedly set in the 10 days before the cell saga.
@@MsMRkv we can compare how both character got hit by a point blank kamehameha if the people they were fighting against had the same power boost, transformation as they had in the original because we can argue that cell would lose to broly easily because broly got hit by gokus kamehameha and was unscathed whereas cell got hit by a kamehameha and was heavily damaged losing his torso and above only surviving due to his regeneration capabilities

Bojack is only like 10-20x planetary but is able to beat a post Cell-Games Gohan pretty soundly, this is because it’s not actually the same Gohan. The Goku that beat Broly in the movie is ASTRONOMICALLY stronger than cell games Goku because when the movie was being written, there was a misconception that Cell would be a universal threat, so to make sure that the movie wasn’t lame, Broly was a direct threat to the universe. Then it came out that Cell was only capable of wiping out a solar system and Broly was just overpowered.
i think u guys are forgetting that getting other's energy is a great powerboost, just take a look at battle of gods, goku got energy from other ssj and got a power boost way bigger than his ssj3 form, hell even gohan was impressed and he still had his ultimate form

He is shown capable of traveling in space but that has more to do with his force field ability being able to trap air inside it. If it pops or if he runs out of Air it is over.

I think that even if Gohan goes SS2 and can use the two arms, and even if Goku goes SS2 too, they will still lose. That hypothetical Cell would be like Goku SS2 from the Buu Saga at bare minimum, probably scaling close to Majin Buu if we're being honest
