It helps sidemen have a really diverse group. I’m not a diversity for diversity sake person, but they have a range of races, relationship statuses, outgoing, introverted, nicer, blunter, funnier, more serious, creative and practical. They appeal to so many people because they reach so many demographics. They even have an autistic.

I also feel that the diversity in the group is a HUGE factor, other groups are mostly made up of the same race/ethnicity which is fine but i think having a group of different lads pulls in different crowds. Also they are all pretty different from eachother, like vikks nerdy, Ethan is the typical brit, Harry is autistic etc. but groups like AMP and Beta squad are all sorta the same person.
The Sidemen just have the actual energy of being friends and commit to so much of the videos. The other groups, being honest, don't prioritze UA-cam. The Sideboys have made it a point that being UA-camrs is who they are

It’s the same way that Disney+, whether you like it more or not, will probably NEVER top Netflix as the go to streaming platform.
