- Meet the weavers of Authentic Banarsi Saree. Banarsee sarees are a heritage of ancient India. On my quest to cover the stories of artisans of India, today I have reached the weavers of Banarsi saree in the famous city of Varanasi or Kashi in India. Today due to the demand of cheap products, banarsi sarees are also being made using powerloom. So, in this video I have covered the process of namking banarsi saree using both handloom and powerloom.
-----
Factory I visited :
H. N. Abdul Matin & Co. Fabrics Pvt. Ltd
Police station, J4/106, B-1, near state bank building, Pilikothi, Aalampura, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh 221001
-------
Banarasi saree mostly used for marriage in Bengali wedding, especially in red complexion. Thanks making a video on it.
Bengali sarees are not worn during weddings in Bengal
Very surprising
हर वस्तु को गहराई से जानने की कोशिश निःसंदेह प्रशंसनीय है । आप की मेहनत इस दिशा में सराहनीय है । धन्यवाद ।
Thank you 😊

Beautiful sarees and so well presented as usual. Thank you so much! I love how curious the young boys were who followed you. Can’t wait to come back to India (from the UK). X
I truly enjoy watching your work and there is a lot to learn from these. Thank you for covering many unusually interesting places and topics and presenting in such a sophisticated manner.
You are doing a good job. Earning is of course important but you are doing a good deed by showing what you do.
This art is part of ancient India, which cannot be allowed to die out.
The main difference between Kanchipuram and Benarasi sarees is the twist of the silk yarn. Kanchipuram silk yarns are double twisted as opposed to the single twist of the Benaras silk yarns. This is the reason Kanchipuram sarees don't need the extra care accorded to the Benaras sarees and last longer.
Well, Very Nice, Beautiful 💐🌹👌

You are going great work.. this is not generally appreciated in today’s world.. but you are doing a service to this art and Indian heritage! :)
Just a question.. please ask where the thread is coming from as often it’s difficult to trace that for authenticity. Thank you 🙏
So much effort they take to make Benarasi sarees ❤ Retailers give funny names to distinguish sarees.😂
Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤
You're welcome 😊
Most beautiful girl in the world ❤️
Desi girl ab shadi hogai ja Desi hai? I like it all your cariouse tourising. 👍👍👍💚💚💚
Hey desi girl traveller. I visited Benaras about 6 years back and in the same galiyas which you have shown, I could hear only the sound of power looms everywhere 😮. Hardly any handlooms left . We should all try to conserve our heritage handlooms by buying only authentic stuffs. 🙏
Priyanka chandola wears expensive clothes great
