Show me the source where he said he sold it. I feel like those kids would've uploaded a lot longer than they did if he sold it to them because they don't seem like the kind of kids who care how many dislikes a video gets. How do we know Lucas wasn't just uploading for them?
John Cena loved being in the Fred movies. Being a parody of himself was apparently really fun for him to do and the reason he wanted to be in other movies.
I love how he references the first two movies at 1:13, problems with your girl referencing Judy, and the music teacher being a vampire referencing Mr. Devlin.
Classic Fred that made him famous to begin with died like 4 years ago since then he's just done promotional stuff for his terrible movies with the views dropping like flies. When Fred The Show failed miserably he decided to just end it.

But ever since he started making music videos and movies and tv shows, he started being more and more of a joke. Sure he's always been kind of annoying, but now I can't even watch his videos without cringing. It's almost painful haha. I miss the good old days of Fred, the good old days of UA-cam, really.
