Thanks for another great review! I actually perordered this for both Switch and PS4. I'm going to pick up both versions. I enjoy seeing the differences between both ports of the game. Hopefully there are no framerate problems with the PS4 version when I play it on my PS5.
i snagged it for 4 bucks on switch , im loving it , nis did a really good job almost reminds me of atlus' presentation. its a fun lil mix of jrpg 3rd person shooter and a line-drawing puzzle game like qix or art class in bully. I'm glad you liked it as well.

I found myself wanting to keep playing more but had to prep for work. I also love the different paths one can take with the heart-to-heart moments. It reminds me of Dragon Star Varnier on getting a desired ending. I will edit this after more time has passed in game. After platinum: wow... what a wonderful game. Very short game, but it reminds me of the simpler days with the PS2. Silly I know. I like how straight forward this game is and it doesn’t need extended cutscenes to keep its audience around. I recommend this game for that change of pace in your gaming scene and to enjoy the tunes. Coming to you from beyond the AM and PM, take care.

One has four of the five stickers by this point, so it was kinda messing with me because at this point, you still don’t know a lot about what is even going on. So far, still fun but I can see why some would tire of this game over time. Very repetitive. Current objective before going any further: just grind out for coin to level up gear.
Oh jeepers. Just beat the game tonight. The good ending. At first, I was super confused thinking, “wait! I have to do that to get the good ending!?” I felt sooo bad at first. Slowly making my way for the platinum now. Man... the game ran smoothly all the way up until the last few levels and then the camera would get caught in funky places or the game would sorta pause/glitch out. Didn’t really bother me because I didn’t sap out time while trying to purge poison. The game over all was pretty fun and engaging because of the silly narrative from the radio hosts, collecting and trying different Deliriants and the crazy blind sides within the story (mostly the ones at the end).
This is a wait until it's fixed. Technical issues kill my interest in a game pretty fast. I will pick it up eventually, but not right now. I have to save some PS3 and Vita games first before they are gone and it's going to be expensive.

I'm playing this game now but for some reason the in game clock when I save is 1 hour behind the clock on my switch. I cant figure out how to fix it. All my other games are fine
it was never even on my radar, but your review made me interested in it. i frequently cycle through genres as i work through my games, and also like to play a shorter game or one that's not my usual genre, as a palate cleanser. incidentally, have you played katamari damacy? they made a remaster of it on ps4 (called "reroll") a while ago and i didn't notice it at the time but picked it up for nostalgia recently and am reliving the experience. it's also a great inbetween experience set between other games, as you can just play one mission or do one challenge, and then move on. it also has the most earwormy j-pop soundtrack ever. the game controls are a little odd, they predate the twin-stick-shooter analog setup of modern games, so it takes a while to get used to coming from a modern game, but it's still worth it. :-)
This the same team from the Princess Guide? Everything gives off the same vibe and that game was also really underrated for how fun and replayable it is
I ended up renting this after seeing your review and liked it enough to platinum it. I did play on PS5 and didn't see as many framerate drops as you seemed to so idk if there was a patch or just performed better there. But I had a fun time with it.

I just got my copy a couple hours ago. I'm playing this after I finish Persona 5 Strikers.
I was thinking of getting it on the Switch, but if it's lagging in places on the PS4, that's concerning.
