I'm surprise because when Hijikata start singing it wasn't bad. It was actually really really good. I'm just saying this because Hijikata's voice actor also voice Zoro so that's why.
And yes people, it is the voice actor of Hijikata singing that, he just lower his voice just like Gintoki when Gintoki was singing in part 1.

for me Knowing Otae singing that song give me an image if either Gin,Gorilla or Shinpachi died at the Final battle of Boshin War (If Gintama really follow the History which is normally will not happen) and standing at either man grave singing that song with her usual fake smile before she got a breakdown and cry which will be very Sad and impossible for Gintama (Sorry if this writing is verrry long)

Rie Kugimiya (the voice actor whom you are talking about) does voices for a whole lot of anime. Fuck...I wasn't expecting Madao and Sasaki to sound this good...also I'd really love to hear more duos, I think Hijikata have a great voice for bass and it would sound really good with Kagura's (she practically has a white voice), so they would make a beautiful contrast, not too excessive and neither too similar

About Otae, so she has the same seiyuu as Shion from Higurashi no naku Koro ni, eh? At least she sang better than her singing Bz's song during ryuugujou arc. I don't remember this song in the higurashi anime too. Which episode was this song from? For kagura….. Her voice is kinda more….. cute (?) than her usual voice and tone in the anime…. As for Toshi, his singing is better than I expected. For Kada….. wow. Who's takano miyo? I don't remember her in Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. For Mutsu….. sorry, i don't recall mutsu's voice in the anime since I rarely saw her appear during the series, but her singing in this is quite good and wild, suit her…. aura as a yato. Hasegawa might not be Madao anymore if he try to use his voice to make a fortune. And as for Isaburo…. his voice sounds different.
