This break is SAPINUS, mainly riden by bodyboards, then paddles, then surfers. You can see the island of Moorea in the back (so it's not teahupoo).
Plus for surfers ::: Bodyboarders stays first break (heavy and short), go further back, where only speed can make it, I got a 200m ride!

Fuck that shit, no way man!! I remember try to catch a wave that wasn't even half that size and it dumped me face first into the bottom, right in the sand and I couldn't stop getting rolled over and over and being twisted up like a fucking Rag Doll. That was the closest that I've ever been to drowning, and naturally my worst fear is drowning too!! I was in "New Symrna Beach" FL. It's also the shark bite capital of the world.
Same man but instead some retards were putting rafts in the water and when I was taken under by the wave I was stuck under the raft for atleast 30 seconds and was swallowing gulps of water.

That's the problem with bodyboarding. Most of the time they just don't generate enough speed to make it out of the barrel in big waves.

First off not teahupoo as the guy says in the beginning, the wave looks similar though. Second off look up videos of surfers attempting to paddle slabs of that size and you'll realize that surfers don't stand a chance bodyboarders successfully paddle bigger slabs. Third off the local says in the beginning that tow in isn't appreciated at this spot the surfer clearly tows in, so he gets shown disrespect. Thank you for your inexperienced disrespect, I'm sure people at your local break hate you

i'm sorry but all those bodyboarders were shoulder hopping and half of them didn't even come out. Bodyboarding is great, i do it all the time when there's no swell, but surfers, especially in waves like these, get way deeper, and actually come out of the barrel. Bodyboarding is a fun hobby when the waves are shitty, but i'd rather come out of a spitting barrel standing up, not lying down
