I was apprehensive when JJ Abrams first ST came out....... But Wow! It was so well cast and showed respect for the forerunners, even the score from Michael Giacchino included Courages score and were well included. I for one am looking forward to it 😊
they say Chekov got hurt in a Transporter accidents in Star Trek are a recurring theme and they beam up a new Chekov actor and say that the transporter messed him up to explain it. often resulting from malfunctions or external interferences. These accidents can have various consequences, such as splitting individuals into two separate entities, merging two, got that from Copilot, also he could been stuck in the Transporter backup cache, and when they beamed him up, Chekov face got messed up, something like that could be used to replace the actor with someone else, or that he in the Transporter accident they could say he is stuck in the buffer cache in the transporter and that scotty is working on fixing the Transporter to get Chekov back, and then bones can explain why and how the transporter changed his looks.
actors wise; I don't know who should replace the actor who played Chekov, but Scotty fixing the Transporter while beaming up Chekov, and then bones has to explain how and why the Transporter messed up his DNA so, that he no longer looks like the way he used to, that's the only fix I can think for that. Also, all the actors who still live, are old now, so yes, they will look a lot different, and their acting might be affected by time, like getting back into characters they have not played in years for example. besides pine, the Spock actor has aged too, and the rest of the crew. and the actor who plays Chekov, should also be older to match the years, the rest of the crew have aged too, unless they want to say he been trapped in a Transporter for a few years now, and Scotty just found Chekov, and none of the Crew including spock knew where or what happened to Chekov, while working on the new or next enterprise, Chekov, got trapped in a Transporter, they could start the movie off like that or something else of course.
Hopefully the next Star Trek movie will be a story close to the stories we see in The Original Series. Thought provoking and tightly scripted with a good dose of action and hope for the future.
@@deanshaw1371 I know that. It /is/ the same /universe/, so you're wrong there. What the reboot /is/, is a different /timeline/. Either way it's still the fourteenth film in the Star Trek /franchise/.
*”There are four Star Trek movies in various stages of development.” At any given moment there are probably at least ten thousand movies “in various stages of development”. Only a small percentage of those will ever make it past the elevator pitch stage. Don’t hold your breath. Here’s hoping any JJ Trek doesn’t survive the elevator.
Ive been looking forward to this for a long time now. Yeah, hopefully its the Motion Picture Era. I had an idea for Pavel Chekov. I think it would work if they added Sam Worthington to the cast, to play Pavel Chekov. You have to tweek it with an interesting back story, where he was in a military camp or something, where he aged faster and it was a rough life. The Crew locates where hes being held prisoner. They get to him, and beam in, to rescue him, and when they see him they stop in their tracks because of his appearance....but then have to run. Ive thought a lot about this transition....and I think it could save the character, and make a great part of the story....
You got me at "several Star Trek movies..." There's so much I can do, re-viewing the franchise's excellent movies, again and again, pretending "Oh! I've never seen that one!". Live long and prosper Star Trek. 🛸
Bring back to us the Promethius. Make a good series of the Promethius 😅😅. There should be a continuation towards new gadgets and explorations. We are hungry for new inventions on a series of future ideas.
@@Klaus-em3ix Yeah, I can agree to that mostly. After the Abrams fiascos came out, I watched them and they didni't sit right with me until I watched the 1st and 2nd seasons of Strange New Worlds. There's a show that has gone back to relying on good story telling. Yes, the effects are superb, but it's the stories that really make that show great. I should add that the cast really works well together. What do you think of Strange New Worlds?
I like Chris Pine as Captain Kirk. I think he does an excellent job. Can't wait!
I really like Karl Urban as McCoy 🎉
I'd like to see more of Kirk's two shoulder angels going at it. "Damn it Spock, Jim's in trouble. Do something!"
THE ONLY WAY TO HONOR THE ORIGINAL TOS time line films is to ask & bring back Teek veteran producer, Nicholas Meyer

Too bad, JJ is a "rule of cool" hack and completely dumped lore consistency and even plot consistency.
I would love to know what is going on with Stargate? Might be worthwhile doing a video of that.
You are making Chris Pine sound like he is 90 years old
Have been waiting years for Pine and his crew to return. What is the problem? The only one is Chekov, who will replace him?

A Ukrainian character
Can’t wait to watch all Star Trek projects! ❤🫶🏻👌👏⭐️
Gal Gadot❤❤❤
They should of been ???

They did a great job with casting the Star Trek crew
Actually it's Star Trek 14. It's only 4 if you totally ignore the original six and the four TNG movies.
It’s a reboot in a different timeline. This is not the original trek universe

YES! End the Jar Jar-verse!
So no reference Gadot & Hemsworth as the title of the suggests - so its all B/S!
YES, YES,YES!

Section 31 sounds like it is going to suck!
I did like this first star trek film but hated the camera work being wonky and all over the place it just ruined the film
Yes, I hate the USS Lensflare! Abrams absolutely ruins every franchise he touches
Clickbate...
I saw no mention of Chris Hemsworth or Gal Gadot. Did they actually mean Chris Pine and Zoe Saldana?
Section 31 is a HUGE mistake, it goes againt Star Trek history and overwrites some of DS9's best episodes
Bold of you to assume DS9 HAD any good episodes!
That constant "Boink" sound in the audio is irritating as heck!
You got me at "several Star Trek movies..." There's so much I can do, re-viewing the franchise's excellent movies, again and again, pretending "Oh! I've never seen that one!". Live long and prosper Star Trek. 🛸
I would say that Kirk will meet Q.
I wonder if there going to wright Chekove out of the movie or re place him. that`s a big question. that no one seems to be asking.
In the last 20 years anything JJ Abrams touch turns to trash
Netflix gostaria👍👽
Enterprise series was amazing
Discovery Strange both suck
WAY TO WOKE.
I like SNW, but I absolutely agree that STD was an utterly horrific shit show.
Bring back to us the Promethius. Make a good series of the Promethius 😅😅. There should be a continuation towards new gadgets and explorations. We are hungry for new inventions on a series of future ideas.
I read Chris pine wanted too much money. I guess the movie parts have gotten slim
I couldn't give a TOS.
It's all good,
But no more space battles, fightings, killings, space chases and blowing up stuffs.
We need more cerebral stuffa
no such film in production
Chris avauccoio Dallas dallors visit dabit
Let's be honest... Star Tek is dead. Except for William Shatner :-)
I would love to see Seven of Nine in a movie, she was captain in the last episode of Picard.
Gal Gadot??
???
I have no interest in seeing anymore Christopher Pine Star Trek movies. JJ Abrams chose to make action movies; not Star Trek movies.
All the movies of Star-Trek have too much Action. The original of Star-Trek is a submarine thing in space.

Chris looks like crap, I hope he cleans up.
Chris Pine at 43 has to be carefully he doesn't fall he might break a him does he have to use a walker yet !
??
Democratic politics is why we are not getting good men movies,
not everything has to be political so go sit in the corner little child
Gal Gadot 🤮
All this modern trek sucks. It's supposed to. Demoralise you. Gal Gadot ha she can't even act
Gal Gadot, I'll pass. Over rated.
Table of one for you 😂😂😂
Gal Gadot 💩
Look in the mirror 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Allah Snackbar 😂😂😂
Only crap here is you Adolph
