Every moment you get to spend with them is worth every second you have to spend apart. My husband is currently deployed and it's very hard. But the biggest thing is that you can't focus on the scary what ifs, otherwise you'll go crazy.

I am 14 years old and my dad is in the ARMY, so it sucks with all his deployments and trainning. yes it does suck not to see him sometimes but the thing is they are there for a reason. that reason is they are fighting for us. so it dosent just have to do with the wemon, but the whole entire family.

My uncle Joey left this morning for 3 weeks he is a us army MP he has been for 14 years right now he is a Sergent. he has fought in alot of places hes been to afganastan n iraq I love what he does for me to keep all of us and the world safe I love you man! As a child of a member of the military, I can remember the way my mom's face used to light up when she saw my Dad walk through the front door, I hold total respect for all of the wives, children, and parents of a military member can be just as difficult as being in the military sometimes, and I think that in this song Scotty chose to respect that side of the life just as much as the other side.

I like this song because it dedicates it to people who served and are serving our country. I come from a military based family. I have people serving right now. It means a lot to me.God bless everybody who has served and are serving it means a lot.

Also the part of how the drive is worth it is so true for me. I have someone I love but says we are just friends because of the distance but I find him worth the drive ❤️.

I worked at Krispy Kreme and we had that uniform. There was this boy I was talking to and I thought he was such a DAYDREAM 🤩💖. He enlisted in the army. I was crazy about him but it just wasn’t meant to be. So nostalgic to hear this after years. I’m 22 now.

This song reminds me of 13 years ago, when I first dated my wife. Met online, and she lived 75 miles away. Drove to her place every night after work, and it didn't bug me one bit. :) We married 5 1/2 months after meeting, and I'm not sorry that it happened either
