thank you so much, i try my best to show the obstacles while maintaining an artistic side of things but the trail “information” comes before the “entertainment,” i try to find a balance. thanks for watching them!
Hey Dude, watched all my off road 4x4 subs this weekend but came back to B Roll, yet again. Always love the simplicity and serenity of the trail. Very satisfying. Hope your move went well and you are getting settled. Cheers.
We did Mosquito pass a few yrs back. Thanks for refreshing my memory on that wonderful day in the mountains. Hoping to get back out west next fall for some more adventures off road
Damn, that was windy !!! Lovely area, loved the footage by the small lagoon !! And, congrats on the negotiation of the water pass ... I like the smooth way and secure way you do stuff !! Nice !! Cheers
i know! the video i'll have done later (Birdseye Gulch) ends at Mosquito Pass so i still got some good shots of it. was going to split the footage but figured just put it all on one. the wind almost blew me over when i was kind of falling anyway haha.
Me and my family went up there today because our gps was taking us up there for some reason. We got through the water in our jeep but we got to the incline on the mountain. We had no idea we werent supposed to be there because once again, our gps took us there to get to leadville. We were okay. But once the incline was there on that first turn of the mountain. We looked up and saw loose rocks and snow and my sister started freaking out. My mom and dad immediately and safely turned around back to where we came from because they said absolutely not. My sister looked up the trail later and we figured out it was called “The Highway of Frozen Death.” Apparently the road was supposed to be closed during this time in June but they didn’t close the path. So glad we turned around because even with a Jeep, we wouldnt make it up. Especially with no service.
quite the tale! i’m glad it all worked out but yea - little too early for this one (and anything that high really) but if you get the chance, the views are very good! best of luck!
@@BRollOffroad Yeah. We were trying to get to Leadville to go horse back riding. Crazy that the gps would take us through the trail. But I’m sure its pretty fun up there.
excluding time to stop for camera setup etc. about how long is the RTT ? go to LV every year for 10 days of camping, cycling, hiking! this year I'm adding offroading! Been up mosquito pass on my mtn bie many times so I know it well, would be nice to have a motor take me up and over for once ;)
My brother wants me to take my '98 ranger up there. Everything is stock. will it make it? His F150 FX4 made it, but he's got the off road package. I'm a little nervous. I've done off roaring, mudding, but never mountain climbing.
@@jtsblocks not sure if i needed to but i was at my buddy's shop with the heat gun right there so i just did it, took 2mins per side it's real easy. been running 15psi for everything, seems soft enough and that's about the time where they really start losing height so good enough for me. thanks for watching!
Love this pass. You always have the best camera captures and views. It's like being right there. Thanks for sharing your adventure.

haven’t been in awhile but it’s probably fine if you have good tires and put them on the high places 👍
👍👍
Nice viedo and I love this trail did it in my Frontier pro4 do you have a lift on your rig or am I seeing the one size bigger tires?
nice! yea it’s Old Man Emu 2” Complete Kit, no sway bars and 255/85’s which i believe is one up from the stock Offroad/Pro4X 👍
@@BRollOffroad Did you need to do the melt mod on the front fenders for that tire/lift combo? Also, what do you air those down to?

👏 🙏 ♥️
Did you air down your tires?
15psi
@@BRollOffroad is there anywhere to air back up on the west side of the pass?
