A bit surprised they didn't use this theme more in the game.
It's a lot more laid back and chill compared to other main themes for Mario but I like it.
The melody is everywhere actually. Just not this one with the voices
I think it's because it is the World 1 level theme, so it wouldn't play in any other worlds.
The leifmotiv of this song can actually be heared in another songs tho
Honestly glad it didnt get played to death like the main themes in other Mario games. Makes it feel a bit more special.
It’s played a lot or at least the melody is, I think the canyon part of world one has it, and the athletic theme is just this but faster paced

The transition into the elephant version was pretty smooth
Anyone else holdin back tears to this song? This song gives off vibes of a new beginning. A transition to a new life. With Charles no longer voicing Mario, this song acts as a humbling "Goodbye" to the old and an ascending "Hello" to the new. It's beautiful😢

Congrats...if you've played like Mario 3, and Super Mario World, how would you hold Wonder up to it? I'm thinking of getting it but I'd need to get another Switch, I traded mine in for FF16 and a PS5 because they were doing a deal where you basically got like $300 off if you traded in a Switch.

Apparently that was the main gimmick they've thought in the first place. Bigger Mario, can spray water etc. And the animal that can think of that fits all of that is an elephant.

The quality, energy, and freshness of this game honestly surprised me so much. My expectations were pretty high but they were somehow broken! One of the greatest 2D platformers ever!!!
Before I got this game the week it was coming out, my grandpa passed away a day before my 21st birthday on the 17th, which honestly made my birthday not so happy for me, but I decided to finally preorder this game, with my mom giving me half of the cost to put down for it, and I got it at a midnight release event at GameStop, and when i got home, i played this next to my mom, and listening to this song as well as the singing piranha plants level made me feel the right amount of joy after the week I endured, i played this with a best friend and had so much fun and gave me a great amount of happiness, and as of today I finally beat this game 100%, thank you Nintendo for helping me get through dark times with this wonderful experience, no pun intended. ❤️

I simply cannot compare Galaxy to Wonder music-wise, they both have such distinct soundtracks filled to the brim with personality that it's like comparing chocolate vs strawberry milk, they're both masterful adaptations of the original.

I'm 100% confident that Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Nintendo itself will keep the legacy of New Super Mario Bros games and this game will be remembered atleast by this generation of kids just like all 2D mario games out there.

I think of this song as you being on the border of the mushroom and flower kingdom. The previous games, taking place in the mushroom kingdom, having the bah's and such. While the flower kingdom having a unique style of music. So this first level is a combination of both the old and the new styles of music before leaving it behind as you travel away from the border and deeper in this new kingdom.
This song is like the warmest hello, and the saddest goodbye, all at the same time. Absolutely gorgeous.
