I started as a fan of this channel, then everybody on this channel was kind enough to accept me as a streamer in this channel. Today this episode has reaffirmed, rather cemented my position as a fan of this channel forever. As an appreciator of biology/popular science books, Anand Gandhi (both as a person and a creator), Vaani's charm and overall books, I have been immensely moved by this episode. All I can say is that this was a tremendous episode, a stepping stone in my opinion, congratulations for this collaboration and best wishes for future endeavors.

Anand Gandhi has always been a personal hero and benchmark for me, but seeing him not restraint by genre and medium perhaps explains why he is such a genius. Academia, social media and the industry itself has made it so hard for people to explore mediums, often limiting people in a vicious echo chamber when it comes to content. Glad to see him not be affected by that.

There are plenty intellectuals who criticize Ayn Rand too. Personally (and paradoxically) I find Ayn Rand's theory of objectivism very much like communism. Attractive when you're young, not so much as you grow up.
Five point someone is a decent enough book that upon the time it was released opened the dialogue on India's education system. An insider's account of the rot and rote prevalent inside our so called premier institutions (I'm a doctor myself, an MD from of the best cancer institutes in the country and I concur).
Would I rate Five point someone as a great work of literature? No.
Would I look down upon anyone who's read and liked it? Emphatically no.
We sometimes suffer from a sort of intellectual snobbery and are wont to literally judge a book by its cover.
      Please don't do that.
