This was 6 years ago so hopefully by now the creators realize that it’s MUCH BETTER if you turn down the camera lights and have the host stop asking actors questions and just enjoy the experience. Less talking, shit. Glad they captured an outdoor haunted house though.

As someone who has worked at this exact haunt if I remember right 9ish years ago, quite a few of those actors need to do more then just move. Even if they don't "speak" they could do things like random noises or growls. The whole "Massacre" house section is a fun and interesting section, those actors do a really good job, from the "victims" to the "Family" itself. The one thing that actually made me ticked while watching this was the "Dungeon" folk around the 26:00 minute mark leaving their brightly colored chairs and snacks out, that is usually a big no-no in any haunt. I must admit I am disappointed at the fact that my favorite animatronic was left out of the video and that is the giant demon statue. I did hear it in the background when you were speaking with that group of high school students. Overall I miss this location, their new one isn't as big or as enjoyable as this old one. Thank you for posting this and letting me relive a few good times.
"These people don't talk too much, they just stay in character." We're paid to play a character, not to jump out of our character to answer dumb lil questions LOL. Now mind you, if we can answer a question in character fuck yeah we will. But if we have to get out of character, no.
I don't want them to break character. I never ask them to, I just talked to them about the scene. 90% said GET OUT! I understand its hard to think on your feet but saying nothing and looking scary is waaayy better than saying get out. Dumb little questions are what the show is about. :) Thanks for watching.
Understandable :) Some people are good enough to act on their feet, I'm not one of them haha. I usually stand there, make noises, look scary and what not. Sometimes screaming get out is necessary though, just for the fact of keeping people moving along so other groups don't collide with them. 90% of the time the people up front who send groups in don't give us much time to set back up after a group so keeping them moving is the only thing that we can do. Love the show though! :D
my boss at the haunt i work at over here always says that! "Never tell the customers to get out, the customers paid way to much for us to tell them to get out" lmao
This would have been about 3,000,000 times better if the chatty host would have let the actors... You know, act. you're not the show, pal, you're the customer. I would have liked to see more of the actors, less of the oh so funny commentator. Such a letdown.

If you dont know what to say just stare and as there leaving follow them and do like a snarl or growl. I really wish alot of scare actors knew this
