Hi, Suraj ji! In some courses like MBA, LL.M. the duration is 1 year and in few 2 years. some people do extend one semester to do master thesis, a very normal scenario. And for the extention you don't pay tuition fees but ofcourse semester fees. Semester fees in is every college which is around 300-400 euros per semester. Tuition fees depends on the course some do not have any and mine has 9,000 Euros for a year even though it was public university but this is not a very usual case.

Hi! You can try to look for Daad Scholarships as they cover the entire cost and also you pay you living expenses per month. So, basically everything free. But for that you need to have a strong academic background. Otherwise there are few courses in English with no tuition fee. It depends on the course.

In my university accommodation, Admission or enrolment is not required for the online application for a dormitory place! But they do send you re-confirmation mail time to time that you need to agree upon to stay in the waiting list. Which is why I said fill accommodation application along with your university application to be on the safer side. Reach out to the Studienkolleg for guidance. They might have resources or suggestions for students in your situation. Also, I don't have sufficient knowledge about it. But haven't you provided them with a geographic preference?
In the process of Studienkolleg, we are required to go there and take the entrance exams, "Aufnahmeprüfung". We can then further enroll in the universities whose Aufnahme we clear. The time span for giving the exams is approximately 1-2 months. That’s when we need to decide where to live. But I’ll try to apply for accommodation as well!
