Easy Curry Puff Recipe (Thai-Style Samosa) กะหรี่ปั๊บ

  • This recipe is the easy version of the classic curry puffs, but I guarantee you it's just as delicious! The original one requires making two different types of dough and a set of rather complicated maneuvers to wrap them. They're beautiful treats in the end, but With my schedule these days, I'm very much biased towards easy!

Hi, Pai. The word "Karee" or "Kari" is a Indian dialet for curry. So a Thai would understand this food as curry puff. It happened to sound like a Thai slang for unscrupulous working girl. I enjoyed Thai variety of Karee Puff , which mainly made from regional pastries. We will try your recipe. Thanks.

What brand of spring roll wrappers do you use? I tried using rice spring roll wrappers, but I think I didn't roll it tight enough and it bubbled up and didn't crisp very well when frying even at the recommended temperature

  • @juang7230

Sawadee Khap Pailin. You may use 150 gram of water would reach the scorched stained on your wok, mix 150 gram of vinegar. Leave it overnight or 24 hours, will be easier to scrub off the black stained. It's easy, I used this way to clean mine.

You should think about doing this professionally in American Cooking shows like Cooking Channel. You cooked well and speak very well. I could tell that you were either born here or came to the US when you were a child. Thanks for your video. Using egg roll skins are clever and creative. Keep up the good work. Thanks
