I am a bit confused, did you say the bone matrix in osteoporosis and osteopenia is intact but you meant to say in the osteomalacia ? or it is correct?its at 4.55 min

What about the use of parathyroid hormone as treatment?

I have full blown osteoporosis stemming from hyperparathyroidism. Still have an adenoma in sternum because a surgeon wrongly transplanted it there from my neck. No doctor will believe me but no one has even tested me for this.

Is there a way to reverse osteopinia

    • @Livetoeat171

Osteopenia is just a word to describe pre-osteoporosis. It is not an actual disease itself. The pharmaceutical companies made that word up so they could start selling treatments ahead of schedule since there was a name for that level. At the level of osteopenia, drugs should never be offered.... Weight bearing exercises and diet to include lots of calcium in the food and increase the vitamin D to 4000 IU each day should keep your bones strong.

low calcium level is a major risk factor , which eventually will cause hyerparathyroidism

My mother is 40 and is diagnosed with Osteoporosis, is there a way to reverse it?

yes, osteoporosis medication biphosphonates can help restore the bone. Along with calcium, vit D supplementation, and weight bearing exercise can help. Good luck

Januarius of Scythia Minor - study up in bone replacement therapy before u commit. I’ve had severe negative reaction to biophoshates and prolia. I’m using only natural formulas now.

Prolia is a monoclonal antibody with minimal side affects a rare 3% chance of eczema like skin infection or skin infection all very treatable. I think its work having a 3% risk of a skin reaction since Prolia reduced risk of fractures by about 40% and vertebral fracture risk reduced by 70%. This information is available online on the product monograph where approx 8000 postmenopausal women were studied half on Prolia and half on Placebo
