Yeah well Spec series less advanced cars the driver makes more difference . Not f1 virtual is basically spec but its still F1 car spec. Indy has cars way less effected by dirty air and more by grip/style. So yes indy cars can be more overtaking etc but i.m.o. that doesn't equal good racing. Like nascar indy can have people win in final minutes that whole race they stood no chance. So from my perspective its a lot of luck in spec series that equals the racing. But its all opinion

@@Deftonesdsm Well, idk. The reason why you see a much tighter field in Indy is generally because you can win on strategy and car management way more than you can in F1, not to mention that no car is really physically faster than the other. And that generally goes for all American motorsports since the races are longer.
And I personally don't mind it, I think it's fun and engaging, especially since the harder to drive cars make management that much more important. Otherwise Will Power and Newgarden are going to generally win every race unless Andretti got Rossi a good set up, since at pure race pace, the Penske boys are still definitely the fastest.
Because this is an actual racing Sim not an arcade F1 game.
@@JORDANonPS good point though arcade game is a bit harsh. Its just a more commercial accessible by normal people type of game. Compared to Iracing and Assetto yes its not hardcore simulation. coverage in Iracing is made for Esports commentary. You are not wrong though that's why good real drivers seem to pick up this amd shine compared to F1 games. Just different levels of coding for reality vs coding for playability

Unpopular opinion: the 2021 cars don’t look as good as people say. For me they don’t look aggressive enough and the thin tyres (if they are implementing them) look horrific on an open wheel car.
Maybe they shouldn't look aggressive they basically sound electric😂

I feel like you could have kept it from spinning on the exit of the final corner. You did a good job of catching the first snap but then you gave it full gas. What you should have done was ease into the throttle in order to not spin your tires. Besides that nice job

7:15 You can just see what is the problem with iracing. If you go a bit over the limit it's over. You can't catch the car.
Thats a bad example. He went WAY over the limit. His car is pointing like 45 degrees left when he's barely steering 90 degrees. He was too late with the countersteer (not that anyone could have reacted much faster... so much power, so little grip on that astroturf)
