The ECUs on the 1.6 Stilos don't cease working only because of "loose" pins. Rather, loose pins is the result of some other stupid things that happen around it. If your ECU has never been opened for repair before DO NOT open it as moisture is the one of the reasons those things go bust. I just did what the Saab community did with their ECU on the 9-3 T8 ECU (4 spacers, bakelite plate as heatshield). I also removed the plastic cover as the only thing it does is to trap heat inside. Especially for me living in Greece with summers of over 40C. I have researched this topic in such a deep manner (searching through all Polish, Romanian and Greek stiloClubs) that I am almost certain on what causes these to fail and why. At some point I can tell you the whole story if you're interested.
@@ItalianRebuild you can make a separate video. I'm sure a lot of people would like to see it. The sad thing is that there are a lot of "repair shops" that don't know how to fix them and they in fact ruin them.
Y whis you all the Best!!!! Y have Stilo 1.6 16v 2002 years :) Thets is the ...Y don't now, thet's is the love :) And Y haven't problem whit CPU, electronix...Y remove CPU from engine on batery box!!! And all Is OK!!
Haha! I had that once also but with a big screw so when i started the car alot of noise came out. You can try to remove the black backing plate from the flywheel ( underneath ) and see if it will fall out or use a magnet..... Article number = 7650065 ( google it )
We are waiting next videos. nice job
