Player instinct for the past few years has been to snake, so it’s most definitely going to take an adjustment period. Can’t just get snaked once and chalk it, everyone needs to be patient about it.
all it will really take is a .5 second animation flinch so that you are unable to ads everytime the snake button inputs are done that way you have a disadvantage to engage or reengage a player. if done right it will make snaking if it continues to exist more of a disengage (dodge) than a engage (chall) they could even make that delay longer or debuffed with sway or bloom to make snaking into a still fast and possible existing mechanic as a way to play your life rather than a peek to chall or do damage. please like this i think if the devs saw it, it would be semi-simple to implement and they may not have thought of it.

The problem is people have contracts on the line so when you get these critical moments and they don’t want to get clowned so they’d rather just snake, get the kill, get the praise, get the girl and be done.! +2 if they die in that critical moment people are going to tell them “Why didn’t you snake!” The way you take care of it is you only do it to the teams that do it to everybody else!

What I think they should do for snaking is, slowing down the time it takes to get back up from the floor. Or when a player starts doing push ups mid gunfight, a stamina bar should be implemented, tiring the character out n slowing his up n down movements so u can’t just cheese it.
Edit: I vote for Zooma to be the commissioner of the league.

They need to remember there would be no league if there was no viewers. The viewers don’t want to watch everyone snaking constantly. There were a couple of stair glitches last year. If there is a few instances of snakes this year and that’s it then it will be better than letting it run rampant

The smokes aren’t for trophies smh. It’s to block lines of sight so that subs are viable on maps other than skidrow and Karachi if I’m being generous. There definitely needs to be a limit on trophies, but to remove them entirely is insane.
If the issue is prone to sprint. Could you get rid of tac sprint to get rid of snaking? Or you could get rid of prone to get rid of snaking. This would be much easier to enforce since they are game settings/controls
