Thank you for including us Aussies! Your channel has the best weather forecast! So much detail and your explanation is clear to the point. Appreciate the hard work put into this!
I'm loving these Australian specific forecasts. I'm in the outer south-east of Melbourne but I spend a lot of time in the Victorian High Country and also country Victoria.
Thanks Phil keep up the great work. I like were this channel is going as far as putting together a good all round weekly forecast for OZ and NZ Observation is the best way to understand weather I’ve been telling a lot of people if they watch every day it will slowly make a lot of sense to them. Love this channel 👍
You're certainly in a part of Australia that gets some of the most energetic weather! Always something to talk about in Tassie weather-wise :) Cheers Phil.
Hello to you Phil, I'm from Toowoomba and we desperately need rain, everything dead and tanks empty. A bit of a shower last night but we need plenty more. Thank you. 😊
Thanks for the update - good to know you need rain too, as helps us focus on that (and not say dumb things like "sorry it's going to rain on Saturday"). :)
Was hoping for some of that rain heading to Queensland to fall in the Lockyer Valley. No rain as yet very dry here, need it to rain to full my water tanks. Hopefully soon
Thanks Phil, from Westmere, Victoria. You give a great overview of where the weather is going. We are hanging out for some rain over the next month to carry our grain crops through to harvest. They look fantastic at the moment, but haven't been subjected to high temperatures yet.
Thanks for the update - is Westmere just an area, not a township? How high above sea level are you there? I'm quite interested in learning a lot more about the layout of Vic. Got my head around most of it, but not all of it.
Terrific reports Even though live in Ballarat ( Balla arat) Victoria really like the coverage of Oz and NZ weather maps as gives better insight to the weather patterns. Keep up the great work
Thanks, Phil! 53 mm , full tanks, and EVERYTHING blossoming and growing on the farm, just north of Melbourne. Cows all clean. Dust washed off pastures. Rain soaked in. Very little flooding. Much appreciated few days. Normal crappy Melbourne style weather back. Good luck QLD People. Hope the rain turns up. Ps Phil, "middle of nowhere" in Australia has a very different ratio to "middle of nowhere" in NZ ✌😁
@WeatherWatchTV Such a peaceful natural area. Those hills are a big influence on our micro-climate, which is why your overview including Australia and detailed explanations are so accurate and reliable. Love your work!
Hi Phil, sending holiday greetings to and your viewers from rainy Santa Barbara, California. Wishing you health, happiness and continued success in 2024. 💜
The best and only weather forcast to listen to.. steve in sydney I just wish we could get a class action going regarding flash flooding and property damage followin cloud seeding thats been going on for the last 2 months
As a cold and soggy Pommie [🌧️👀] I've always imagined the weather forecast in Australia would be the same as the one given on 'The Fast Show', a UK TV comedy programme featuring Paul Whitehouse. The evening news segment is presented entirely in unintelligible 'Euro-speak', which might be Portuguese, but definitely isn't. A fictional weather map shows a section of what might be the hottest, driest part of southern Spain, covered with SUN symbols. The pretty weathergirl grins and pouts, makes all the usual pointy hand gestures and runs through her long and detailed forecast script in made-up Spanish-Portuguese: every sentence ends with the word "Scorchio!!!" 😁 So c'mon. Admit it. The weather in Aus is always 'Scorchio!!!', right?
Hi Phillip, always a great detailed analysis of my part of Australia, I'm in campbelltown NSW just sw of sydney. I watch your videos 5 days a week. Thank you👍👍👍👍 Leon
Wow,do like the work you’re doing with this weather forecasts. Yep, as a kiwi living in the middle of nowhere in Australia, is a little different than living in the middle of nowhere in New Zealand. As you mentioned Darwin, I’ m currently living 350 k’s south! In that little place called Katherine. This week our temperatures have been ranging from a low of occasionally 18c-19c at 3-4 am to highs sitting from 34c-38c during the days. Yes I know the weather we get up here doesn’t impact too much on the stuff down south, but I do need to see what’s happening in New Zealand ,out on Great Barrier Island and in Auckland where family live, keep up the good work!
Really interesting update Gary! Thanks for that. Haha and yes middle of no where NZ is still next to somewhere :) I know Katherine well, will have to try and mention the place when the weather gets interesting there. (interesting for locals I mean!). Thanks for the message :)
Plenty of mango farmers in the Top End Phil. Also lots of veggie farmers around Darwin. I used to live in Darwin but now in Tassie. From one extreme to the other!! 🤪
I'm watching your channel with interest because I plan to sail a little old yacht from Kiama to Tasmania next week. I've enjoyed your monthly forecasts and your weekly ones. Now I'm using all the normal yachtie forecasts (BOM, Windy, Nullschool, Seabreeze, etc) but I like to see yours as well because you make it simple and informative at the same time so thanks again and give us a shout out next Wed as we head south! Weather dependent if course! The yacht is called Tondelayo.
G/day Philip. October is make or break time for hay here in the Southwest of Victoria, just had 14mm of rain, now some warm sunny days followed by more rain, hopefully
Thanks for the update - and good to know your situation in October too. Victoria has a lot in common with the South Island of NZ from a farming, growing and weather pov.
You missed Adelaide entirely 😆! I live on the Upper Yorke Peninsula about 170 km give or take north of Adelaide. Our weather is usually different to Adelaide's, there are lots of grain crops around us. Cloudy today 18C.
Thanks for that - great location! It's one of part of Australia I know very little about. (although similar geography to your north and south which I know well). Will be tracking your weather much closer now!
Thank you Phil your so resourceful with the weather I'm in Lake Macquarie Cameron Park Iive followed you for a year now and your Perfect for my everyday weather outlook thanks so much for your genuine love of the weather and teaching us so much Cynique
You are following the international trends in omitting any mention of Adelaide! Whyalla rated a mention and even appeared on the map. But no mention of Adelaide at all.
Mentioned Whyalla because their weather is almost identical to Adelaide's over the next week. We often will omit the big cities in favour or a nearby town or suburb. Just to make it more interesting. But the focus on the area is always there.
Man I wish BOM had a dedicated channel like this, you only hear from them when there's warnings even then you have to go to the website to watch videos, WW is by far the best weather channel around!
Thank you for including us Aussies! Your channel has the best weather forecast! So much detail and your explanation is clear to the point. Appreciate the hard work put into this!

Love the work from you and the team. Particularly the focus on the pressure movements and their impacts and not just temperatures 👍
North West Tasmania here. Thank you for a well explained forecast, one of the best around and I watch every week. Cheers

@@WeatherWatchTV yep, the weather is never boring here. Moving into a fire danger time focus from you would be appreciated over the next few months.

Certainly really starting to dry out now across QLD.

I've been meaning to mention Ballarat, hopefully can drop it in the next update!
Lots of peeps are disparaging of Ballarat's weather: especially other Victorians :) Ok will be looking out of it @@WeatherWatchTV

Haha, yes!! Very good point! I was still 40-60 mins drive to two small cities :)
I have a much better understanding of Melbourne's weather since discovering your excellent reporting ! #Melbs
Thanks for that! Melbourne has terrific weather to track - it can be both so stormy and also so hot and settled.
Non-sporty Bathurst fan too. Will be glued like a dry-weather tyre to the big race from gerrymandered and seemingly isolated Pukehina 👀😁
Lol :) Great spot (I'm originally from the hills between Te Puke and Rotorua)

G'day Phil, absolutely great forecast again. Was from Bridgetown Western Australia but now in beautiful North west Tassie, Ridgley.
😁👍
Oh beautiful spot. I've researched the Devonport area and Esk River... but now I need to go more west and look at Ridgley :)
Thanks for another great AU edition. If you could do a QLD boating forecast would be 👌
We are looking to add some marine elements to the forecast, especially around weekends.
Thanks from TAS. As a TAS surfer, your channel has always been of particular interest ;)
Cool to know :) We're hoping to add some swell info into the maps in the near future too, just for the weekends maybe.

That's really helpful to know! Do you know if the weather affects their crops, or is it usually a guarantee due to the heat/humidity up there?
@@WeatherWatchTV Yeah pretty much a guarantee as long as not wet season floods or dry season drought!
