I really love long and fast turns, but as I only have ~20 ski days per season, I will only have one pair of skis for all conditions (heavy snowfall I would rent an all mountain ski), is the SX mich more versatile than this? Looking at softer snow in the afternoon and not perfect pistes. The 1.1m less radius really make me want the GS tho😂
Yes the SX is more versatile than the GS--I believe that's all you're going to need, but don't let me talk you out of the GS--that ski is very special!
I would like to know these differences too. I wonder if such a short GS version (168 cm) would be an option as a hybrid/cross ski. This one in 168 cm length has turn radius below 16 m which I consider perfect form me in most situations on slopes. The most importat thing for me is the difference in longitudal stiffnes between WRT 172 and this GS 168.
The GS uses a denser wood core and now has phenol sidewalls, so it's a stiffer flexing ski. It also has a longer turning radius by almost 3 meters, so it's a lot happier in longer turns and at higher speeds. The WRT is more based on a slalom ski for experts while the Laser GS is a slightly detuned race ski.
Tested this Ski a few days ago in a 182cm, its an absolute beast! Has a real need for speed ;)

You can always go with the junior FIS GS, they are very nice too. 184/24 what’s not to like?
