Idk about you but that specific tanning lotion always makes my skin orange and I look like Donald trump. But on the other hand many people I know use that and it never happens to them, including my sister.
The Versed face gel is GREAT for my normal/oily/combo skin! Also great for summer time if you don’t like a heavy feeling on your skin! It seems thick in your hand but sinks right in & disappears! I’ve tried Peter Thomas Roth gel cream, Clinique 72hr gel, Clinique Daily Moisturizing Gel, & Neutrogena Hydroboost Gel… & the Versed one works just as well as those at a WAY cheaper price point! Plus it’s clean so I don’t have to worry about putting yucky ingredients on my face. I use Retin-A on my face at night so my skin is more sensitive, and the Versed gel never stings or irritates my skin!! They have a mini size if you want to try before committing to the full size. I’m excited about that retinol body lotion… I think I need to snag that!
if you live in a hot humid place or sweat a lot don’t use the jergens lotion!!! it “melts” when in contact with moisture on your skin and that makes it super streaky and ugly.

Just wanted to put it out there, if you’re like me and have a similar skin type to me (mixed skin, super sensitive) then the hero patches didn’t or won’t work for you. They also offer patches for different skin types and patches with spikes to help lighten acne scars. I use the original, plain ones though. I have tried the spike ones, I will say they are pretty pokey, but nothing unbearable or painful. They only come with 6 a pack for those though, and it takes every single one of them to show any difference.
hear me out: you gotta invest in skin care (if you can obviously) just because something is a “dupe” for a higher end product meaning it looks the same on your face, doesn’t mean it’s as good. your face is the first thing anyone sees about you so invest in whatever shit ur gonna put on it, cuz maybe there’s no effect after using something once but it ages your skin over time
You have to do the research and figure out what's in skincare that works for your skin and the skincare products that contain that. Skincare doesn't have to be expensive to be effective and deliver results. That's capitalism. People do too much with skincare and then walk around with chemical burns and don't even know it.
That body lotion is hands down the best lotion I have ever used. And that’s coming from a white person that never has liked any lotion ever. It’s thin but hydrating and occlusive, fragrance free, and sinks in quickly. Though it does go white and streaky immediately and needs a little more work to rub in.
I used to use the in shower one and liked it and recently bought the regular lotion so your skin doesn’t have to be wet to apply it and I feel like it’s easier to apply. I like them for subtle tan and it’s more forgiving in case you don’t blend it perfectly. I started with the lightest shade and you can build it up or buy one shade darker
Imo I absolutely despise jergens tanning lotion.. it smells like chemicals straight out of stranger things and I can rub the tan off. I massively prefer coppers tanning sunscreen to do it more naturally
