I still think this is the case, from AI to all computers, I am so close not to use any of this and living off the land. Smashing interview. Speaking about the telly and how it affects people’s thinking. What started me on this road a long time ago was one example when Coronation Street began stories where the characters who were married were having affairs with their neighbours and friends husbands/wives. As if this was the normal way to be. At the time I thought ‘this isn’t right, they are undermining marriage’. I now know why, but it took me a long time to cotton on.

Marriage was of an era, and that era has long since passed, I'm not saying this is an ideal or a better situation. Our societal dynamic makes marriage or even long-term relationships almost impossible.
Soap Opera certainly played its part, marriage was torn apart primarily by state-engineered promiscuity the influence of music and film, and freely available contraception and abortion. However, mobile phones and social media put the last nail in marriage's coffin!

I confronted an older guy who was chaperoning a child into an NHS 'death bus' , it seemed to me he wasn't a permanent employee of them but a volunteer, I simply informed him that he could regret his actions and he should maybe listen to counter arguments. His response was an aggressive, gaslighting performance similar to the flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz, there was a queue behind us awaiting their fate in fits of hysterical sniggers and clear disdain. I have for a long time now thought that ww1 and 2 were organised by the industrialists to remove the working class so that they could bring in their new machines without too much protest. And now, as mentioned, we have a new 4th industrial revolution which again will make a lot of people redundant and if something isn't done about them then they could cause some trouble. This is a dangerous assumption to have. Socialism is on the rise globally. The ideology is live and striving. Unions are socialists in nature. "Soviet" or "European" or any other name the "Union" has - the ideology is the same: socialism with government planning and control.
“Under Socialism, you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you liked it or not. If it were discovered that you had not character and industry enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner; but whilst you were permitted to live, you would have to live well.”
      ― George Bernard Shaw
My personal experience of living in Soviet Union confirms George Bernard Shaw's words 100%. Last 4 years living in Europe confirms the Soviet Union did not ended in 1991. It is expanded westwards after Berlin wall fall.
