Great breakdown guru but I do feel Jorge is a tad bit to high and he’s been dropped loads of times and if doesn’t look good when you get dropped by chesia, so in my humble opinion maybe A or C

Because Masvidal, who isn't exactly a big guy for his division, has been taking shots and been essentially unkillable at welterweight. Till dropped him, but Till is a middleweight with size advantage even after the weight cut. And remembering he used to be a lightweight that has been unkillable as well (his only TKO, not even KO, loss was his first ever). Ferguson has been dropped at lightweight, and not by guys who should be in a weight class above him. That's why

Max taunts his opponents by acting like hes wobbled more than he actually gets wobbled.
also diaz and tony sometimes get "dropped" on purpose, trying to draw their opponent into their guard. i mean i'm sure sometimes they legitimately got dropped, but i can clearly see that sometimes they do it on purpose to try to trick the opponent onto the ground with them. diaz tried to do it to conor in the 2nd fight but conor wasn't falling for it, he kept backing off and letting him back up.
Ngannou took Stipe's best shots when he was completely gassed, anyone who can do that is S tier.

they were total strikes while both were gassed to be fair and he has a 30lb weight advantage
If that was Derrick Lewis not stipe then it would be true but stipe is a lot smaller and is wrestler with good boxing not a lot of power though

Back after Masvidal just got CLEANED OUT I think you might need to change this list now.
diaz has a better chin than masvidal. diaz got tkoed once by 3 perfect head kicks in a row, but even then i think he could have kept going if given the option.
@@Jack_80 yeah, I think Diaz's chin is slightly better, but the fact that he got hit with Usman's deadliest punch, wasn't out cold, was still attempting to get up and only went out cold with those hammer fists, is just amazing.

But Holloway imo has the best chin in UFC history, his sample size is way bigger, I know Holloway is way smaller but as I said sample size wins out imo.

Ngannou, Khabib and Holloway are S tier. I know Ngannou hasn’t been in many wars. But he’s eaten hard shots from heavyweights that don’t even move his chin. Stipe and Rozenstruik landed clean counters on him and he ate them like they were nothing. He was exhausted beyond belief against Stipe in the first fight and he took clean shots on the chin from Stipe and didn’t even care.

The sound of stipe’s chin making a “tock” noise with that ngannou uppercut is proof. Bone on bone and he still stood. He has a great chin. Ngannou is just the juggernaut you need to avoid at all cost.

I would argue that John Lineker should also be in there if it wouldn't be for one champion.

Lineker hands down has the best chin I've ever seen. I swear that dude has been hit with probably like 10 flush headkicks in his career and never so much as blinked when they landed. I get he's not on this list because he's not in the UFC anymore, but no one ever brings him up when talking about fighters with great chins and it's honestly baffling.

I’m not sure how you don’t consider when Izzy got KO’ed by Alex in kickboxing. If the tier is simply based on chin toughness, he got KO’ed with big gloves, that has to be some indicator. I do acknowledge Alex has crazy power though

@@seanmma5771 1. No he didn't. Completely unfazed. He took a step back and countered clean - he was off balance when he got hit. Took a clean right hand by Derrick Lewis that did nothing, and got countered twice by rozenstruik (Who knocked out multiple guys with that left hook).
2. He's been hit clean multiple by Conor, MJ, Gaethje, Porier and never looked hurt.
3. Got dropped twice by wonderboy with his hands. Top A-tier but not S
4. Jorge has gotten dropped and hurt multiple times - his recovery and defense is good

Blagoy Ivanov needs his own category above S. He has taken shots from some of the hardest hitters ever and barely gets wobbled. (See Derrick Lewis fight)
Also, both Izzy and Ngannou have OUTSTANDING chins. They've been tested now and held up.

Whittaker and Poirier really are similar:
Both are like Champion B in their weight classes
Both get ko’d by mostly snipers.. (Ex.. Johnson, Mcgregor, Thompson, Izzy)
Both are super nice guys
Both aren’t the tallest but about average height for their weight classes
Both have have great striking and grappling
Both mix it up in the cage (leg kicks, grappling, good angles)
Both have power
Both get rocked every once and a while but sometimes they’re chins hold up great (very inconsistent chins but good most of the time)
Both moved up a weight class and found more success and more durability
If Whittaker beats Izzy in the rematch by mixing in his wrestling and some leg kicks it would make them even more alike being that both get ko’d by what some people considered the best strikers in mma (Conor and Izzy) and then they come back and win by mixing it up and showing their mma skillsets
Michael Johnson isn’t much of a sniper. And Bobby knuckles has been having a glass chin since the start. Got knocked out twice against Izzy who isn’t known for power. Got knocked out by Thompson who also isn’t known for power. And barely survived Romero which I’ll say was impressive

Lol you rank Ngannou below Stipe when he took everything from Stipe over 30 minutes of fighting and was wobbled briefly in their second fight, whereas Ngannou KO'd Stipe clean. Also Jones should obviously be in S tier as I've never seem him KO'd or wobbled in his entire career. This just looks like a fanboy tier list

Very few have landed clean on his chin. Rozenstruik maybe landed 2 shots in their fight, and one of them was a leg kick. Stipe survived the onslaught, let him punch himself out and then wrestlefucked him. Lewis didn't really land clean and with him landing a shot per minute (more or less), he had more than enough time. Francis' chin hasn't been really put to the test, but that's mostly because going into an exchange where he needs to take lots of shots implies the rival also has to take a lot of shots, and you just can't do that against Ngannou

It's heavyweight, so everyone has KO power, he got *Ngannou'd* and that was after taking a ton of bombs that would have shut down anyone else before the one that did shut him down. And the Cormier KO was more because DC hit him in a blind spot after the eye poke. That overhand that knocked him down in the second Ngannou fight would have knocked out anyone else

So nate diaz has been dropped in almost in every single fights and has been finished by josh Thompson is in higher tier than khabib who never dropped and bled

This list is hard to make because even tho you have to keep p4p in mind, the heavier divisions simply hit harder than the chin can deal with. The punches become harder but the chin doesn't necessarily

One thing guru forgot to mention is; the Eagle has never e me bled in the cage which is insane. And max and khabib have never even been knocked down in a fight. Let these sink in

Poirier has been stupid durable since coming up to lightweight dude seriously eats bombs even when he’s gassed in a lot of fights
He's not in the UFC anymore but Lineker has the most insane chin I've ever seen. That dude has been hit with so many flush headkicks without so much as blinking. Hell, TJ literally broke his jaw with a headkick and Lineker just grabbed his leg after it landed and threw him down.

This came out 2 days before Masvidal became a C tier
*Stipe has a GOAT chin. He’s taken so many hits from giant HEAVYWEIGHTS and only been blind side KO’d by Ngannou & DC & Struve.* Struve & DC both eye poked him and caught him with a blind shot. He ate all of Francis’s shots that put everyone else to sleep and only got KO’d because he stepped into a power punch he didn’t see. He’s eaten everyone else’s shots.
I'm sorry but getting KO'ed by Struve disqualifies you from S tier. Stipe has a very good chin, but maybe A tier? He can't be on the same tier as Max and Luque
@@jorge37325 Luque got dropped numerous times at lightweight and got KO’d in his last fight. Ngannou, Overeem, DC, JDS etc hits 3x harder than featherweights. Besides, Stipe was eye poked by Struve and got hit while he couldn’t see. If Max or especially Luque was in the same position they would go down too. Luque chin is overrated.

He probably would've been been able to brace more or see it coming if he wasnt poked. Although i know it took quite a few shots for him to finish stipe, its been a while since i saw that fight.
