@@kilasage8543 Madu, what's the occasion? Both men and women taking part. Honest I've enjoyed the songs. Why not record them in studio. Its been a long while since late Rabbie Gamenu recordings and none from Imuty has emerged thus far. Anyway keep singing the old songs, they're so meaningful and sad too (heartbreaking)
@kumkatim5270 yes its a love song about two young lovers during their relationship when the girl was influenced by her friends and had to end her relationship with the boy because she said he was bad for her and she ended with another boy. The only wish the boy had was to see her again, but he was an orphan, and it was difficult to get her back and look after her.
Karomuna egofamuto. Goi guato please take me back home. Lovely song in my childhood days. Memories sweet memories of home sweet home. Madang fox land kekei listening in.

Another typical string band music from Central Province, Papua New Guinea String band music constitutes an integral part of our local traditions and is a prominent feature of our traditional gatherings such as funeral gatherings, bride price ceremonies, church gatherings, festive seasons etc. or as a cherished part of our carefree lifestyle.😇❣💯🙏
I was born in the 70s, and string bands, including bamboo bands, were at their peak, and I am privileged to be part of it. Until now, I am in my 40s. Every time i watched your videos and the songs, I am crying. It brings back a lot of memories of my pasts, especially my loved ones, that i lost in my journey. I have many years ahead of me, and one of the things I will take with me to my grave is string band music and songs. Thank you for posting such, which keeps some of us still paying tax to the government and building the nation. Thank you for your love for string ban, I am with you.
