Thanks for sharing a bit of grooming technique with us. By the way, Trump (the mule) stood a whole lot quieter for his trim than I usually sit for mine. Every time you share a video, I wish I lived a whole lot closer so I could visit your training facility.
I always admired the mascot mules at the Army-Navy football game. They look so sharp and clean! I always assumed that their manes were bleached blond, but now I see that the guard hairs were trimmed.
Ok. This channel is my new love. My barn just got approved to adopt a mule and I'm going to catch up on all of his mule videos. I've already sent the link to his saddling video to my barn's group chat!
Thank you for this, I have just begun volunteering at a donkey sanctuary, which has one beautiful mule just like this one in the video, she's a "she", she's gigantic enormous, absolutely beautiful. It's true, most of us really don't know much about what a mule truly is. Thank you for posting this!
Thank you so much for the info. I'm about to get my own mule who is about 4/5. Now I can't wait to get him looking sharp! I'd really love to train him in the best way possible. If possible, I'd love to see you working with a mule that inst used to saddles and bridles. My jack (Moe) hasn't really gotten used to them and before I go head first into it I'd love some info! Handsome mule btw
Thanks for the advice.! My mule is not ready for all that though hell he would launch me from Texas to Wyoming if I tried trimming his tail..!! Lmao 😂 cheers from bellville tx..👍😎
There’s another feller that sure is against a crupper and insists that a breechin is the only way … could you do a little talk on the crupper ? Thank s so much !
Recently, we purchased two mules. Letting their manes grow out to match our horses. Now I know how to trim a mule, thank you. Sharp looking mule-

I have never seen the mane done that way. Most people seem to shave it all the way down to the neck. This looks great.

Your looking well groomed yourself on this video!!

The love and attention you give these animals says a lot about the sort of people you strive to be. Even if the mule is named Trump haha

Really enjoyed your video😁
Might be a silly question, or maybe you answer it later in the video, but what’s the point of trimming the mane?
You didn’t let him look in the mirror so he can see what a handsome boy he is.
Looking sharp!
Hi there! This video was fantastic! Thank you for sharing! May I ask what blade you are using to trim? I’m guessing a 10, but want to be sure!
Yes it is a 10
Your cool. Keep the videos coming plz.

Paul is it necessary or just tradition to trim a mules mane in this manner?
Not necessary totally your option.
Loved the video! How about the finished foretop? Do you leave it as your 1st go around? Do you trim it shorter like the mane?
I would like to know why you use a crouper instead of a britchen 😢on all of your mules.
Thank You!!!!!!
What size blade do you use? A #10?
What is the blade length of your scissors? Thank you kindly, Dave
(°o°) oh
Why?? Why cut her mane so short??
100 %
Get that Mule a mirror. He'll behave even more once he sees what a good job your doing.
why cut the mane ?
I never cut my mules and let her mane grown out
