I agree about curtains. I use regular shades and curtains and love it.. I’m glad all the kids have their own room. My husband and I have three daughters and they their own room growing up.They’re grown and moved out now .I just thinks it’s best for them to have their own space because they’re not gonna be little forever. When I met my husband he was from a military family where they made the bed every morning when they got up, tucked in all the corners and made sure it had absolutely no wrinkles. I didn't grow up like that, and to be honest, my parents didn't even care if my bed was made. So, since I am the one that makes the bed every day, I make it so it looks nice and that is the extent of my bed making. I love your videos. I look forward to them every week.
You will love the shutters, I got them for almost our whole house 30 years ago, love them and they still look so good and up to date. I have curtain panels in our master bedroom to soften the look. We have 4 sliding glass doors and have by pass shutters on those doors and love them. Can control the light and just dust them with a swiffer.

I was thinking the same thing watching one of your videos you were cleaning the window with a microfiber and then decided on paper towels - I owned a cleaning company and never used my micro fibers in the windows I would go to the salvation army and buy their bulk bags of towels rip them up and use them we did slot if sliding glass doors and old towels are the best and wash them with Oxy clean just store them for glass Love your videos I actually added a little Clorox too and the towels come out great

We went to home depot and got blinds for my daughters house. You just measure your windows and they cut them to size. They have both day and then turn to night. Very reasonable price. Just a thought.

In the vid it looked like the walls in the room you were saying you wanted to wallpaper were textured. Can you wallpaper over texture? In the room where you didn’t like the two different pinks, maybe you could get a rug or a bedspread with the two colors to bring them together? Yes those were my Mellanni sheets. They are not bamboo but very comfortable and affordable and love they had the extra deep pockets. I have those as my back up now.

Curtains look great but sheer curtains need to be put behind the heavy curtains on their own rod. then you can close the heavy curtains at night. curtains are good as you can wash them easily.
I have shutters on the windows in the front of my house and I love the way they look but bees build nest behind them and they are so hard to clean because I can’t really get to them
In your daughter’s room if you didn’t want to change the curtains right away you could get both color pinks in throw pillows to tie it all together and flow…. You could use a neutral comforter like a creamy white …. And maybe a pink picture or two with both color pinks in it… 💁♀️… boom 🤯 💥 problem solved… 😅

Why would you do that? Do you really want to live in visual burrows? After all, the laws of geometry and visual perception can be deceived and the room can be made bigger by different techniques.

In the South we call them Plantation Shutters. I love them, but I heard they're expensive.
