Great bit of kit! I used to drive an older version of this at the recycling centre. Wonderful and you can pick up so much with one bucket full!! Graham🇬🇧🇬🇧
Blame Europe, they started it. It makes sense though. It's white noise which is all frequencies at once so people with trouble hearing certain frequencies can still hear it. Also, I'd much rather listen to that than constant beeping.
You're ears can immediately 'directionalise' where 'white noise' is coming from, wheras it's impossilbe with the monotone squeak. These things are vital on sites with multiple pieces of equipment operating.
The reason it sounds so weird is because it's 2 different alarms working at the same time. One of them is a rumbler for the hearing impaired and other is the normal back noise
Those canny Volvo people. Now they have Chris hooked on big loads, we can look forward to pond dredging via the loader. I wonder how much muck would fit in that bucket ;) Enjoying immensely from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Well, so after five long years of waiting Bruder, the manufacturer of the one/16 scale, a 60 H that I showed you has now released this wheel loader. I bought one today to replace my Bruder Liebherr L5 74 wheel loader. The reason why the L5 74 needed replacing is because I literally put that thing through its paces and I used it so much that the roll cage actually broke off the machine due to hand pressure of me, pushing on the cab to drive it around. This one however the roll cage construction is a lot more solid so I don’t think I’m going to have that problem and it’s also got a larger bucket. Then the loader that it is replacing. When I bought it and took it out of the box I did the toy rock test, and like the real thing it only took two passes to load my a 60 H.. I love it and I see many years to come of me using it for Lego cleanup and organization as well as removing snow in certain areas. around my house that are far too small for any sort of large machine to do any work.
Wow this Volvo Loader gives your 10 Wheeler Dump truck the Kellogg's Raisin Bran treatment with two scoops of crushed stone instead of two scoops of raisins, lol.
The reverse beeper sounds sick and I don't mean the "sick" that youngsters say, nowadays, meaning good. Like the bucket, two scopes and go....Thanks for the video.
Fred now there white noise. It’s supposed to make it more safe as you can tell where the white noise is coming from vs the high pitch beeping. And you can hear multiple at once.
I admired your skills and have been watching your videos for awhile with great enjoyment. I want to return some enjoyment back. I found another youtube channel (Duckgirl 86) from the UK that has a women with mesmerizing skills with her machine. Hope you enjoy.
I like the design of the CAT buckets better, they seem to fill easier and hold the load while empty just as well. Somebody let that cat out of the tool box
I see what you are doing now, break your equipment, run to Volvo for a new part, then go on the back lot and play the rest of the day. Chris just be honest and say "I'm going to Volvo to play".
Damn that backup alarm would drive a guy to drinkin'. First thing I'd do would be to disconnect that stupid thing, and the second thing I'd do would be to remove it, place it on the ground, run over it with all four tires, then drop the cutting edge on it at least twice. The last thing I'd do, would be to put on a replacement that didn't sound so awful.
You’re weighing that all wrong, you have to be stopped and in neutral with the bucket low then raise it at 1500rpm till it beeps to get an accurate reading. I have over 3000 hrs in a 250h with the same bucket. I ran a 220h also, it had a 7 yard bucket and z bars instead of the elephant trunks. The visibility is poor in the 260 250 compared to a 220. The 9.5 yard bucket is to much for that machine.
R - that’s not to say that Volvo doesn’t include something like that too. I think we’re seeing a ‘quick-and-dirty’ demo here. It would be different if Chris was a regular loader operator and could dig into the bells and whistles.
Those white noise backup alarms are so much nicer than the beep beep all day
Great bit of kit! I used to drive an older version of this at the recycling centre. Wonderful and you can pick up so much with one bucket full!! Graham🇬🇧🇬🇧
Nice piece of equipment ..........other than that squacking goose backup alarm .
better than that gosh darn it beep. Truck driver; "what? done already?"

Never considered that it was white noise. Always thought the damn things were buggered.
Pity they don’t come with an OFF SWITCH, because that Noise is Not Required in every situation.
A beast for sure. You can see the arse end settle back down as he dumps the bucket.
That back-up warning signal sounds like a night after eating Mexican refried beans.
Yea I hate the way they sound, but they do a great job of making you look around to figure out what the hell is making that noise, lol.
The reason it sounds so weird is because it's 2 different alarms working at the same time. One of them is a rumbler for the hearing impaired and other is the normal back noise
It's the new white noice alarms, they are not so loud and annoying but if you're near it you hear it real good.
Holy frig. That is a BEAST. Two scoops of raisins, for sure!
Nicely done. Great cab view 👍
Impressive. Productivity increases are vital to stay in business year after year.

One of those baby's would come in stable!
I’ve got one of these 1/16 scale of course!
Damn y'all love some Volvo's up there
I miss my Volvo tandem. It was a good truck.
Thanks Chris Wow 😨 thats Amazing 🖒
Super
Nice...pretty big scoop
Great video
Wow this Volvo Loader gives your 10 Wheeler Dump truck the Kellogg's Raisin Bran treatment with two scoops of crushed stone instead of two scoops of raisins, lol.
dam sweet... 2 scoops in the box...;)
DOT going to get that dump truck, he didn't tarp the load and he doesn't have any mud flaps. LOL
Fred you tarp after scales. But he’ll probably get bent over for the flaps
Its just a yard truck, i was just being flippant.
I'm sure they're testing the equipment so most likely loading and dumping right after.
The reverse beeper sounds sick and I don't mean the "sick" that youngsters say, nowadays, meaning good. Like the bucket, two scopes and go....Thanks for the video.
As we get older the sand boxes just get bigger and the toys get more expensive! Lol
You strained it so much getting the first bucket that it messed up the back-up alarm.
thats how its supposed to sound lol
I know, but you know how they are usually high pitched. LOL
yeah :) new type of thing for volvo the white noise backup alarm its so weird.
Fred now there white noise. It’s supposed to make it more safe as you can tell where the white noise is coming from vs the high pitch beeping. And you can hear multiple at once.
FishFind3000 How on green earth did we live this long without an over reaching government .... oh wait
Lift, slight curl, lift full curl thats how ya load a loader bucket.
I admired your skills and have been watching your videos for awhile with great enjoyment. I want to return some enjoyment back. I found another youtube channel (Duckgirl 86) from the UK that has a women with mesmerizing skills with her machine. Hope you enjoy.
nice machine besides the backup alarm
Me Not a professional...but this looks like so much fun!
I like the design of the CAT buckets better, they seem to fill easier and hold the load while empty just as well. Somebody let that cat out of the tool box
Well that's a novel idea... using a fart cushion for back-up warning. Kind of appropriate in a weird sort of way!
So you're more or less advertising and trying out the machine and making it public smart idea you got a good gig going
plus I get to try out equipment and learn to run machines Id never get the chance to run!
I wish my wallet was big enough for one of those. Just filling the tank with diesel must cost a fortune.
i run one of these at work i do about 70 gallons in a 12 shift
Thats how you overload a tandem axle in two passes. Loading 41'000 on a truck that weights 18'000 lbs is a bit over 56'000lbs it was rated for.
@@SCOOPFREE 56k only if from the front axle to the center of the Rear axle is at least 27 feet.
Whoever is on that loader REALLY sucks. You're fired!
Could do with that at the saw mill where you take all those logs, Trailer would be unloaded in 1 lift.
Nice.
have him drive to the w/b scales at 70 in maryland and watch the pinheads jump throught the glass windows in the scalehouse.
amazing how much weight the bucket holds.
I see what you are doing now, break your equipment, run to Volvo for a new part, then go on the back lot and play the rest of the day. Chris just be honest and say "I'm going to Volvo to play".
Just wondering why you choose volvo equipment? Not starting anything just trying to learn
20 ton on a tandem is overloaded by 5, 6 tons in most states
yep tandems are like 15 ton trucks so not sure what the deal is here
Stay off the roads
Were allowed 76,650. On ten wheeler no tag. And 105,000 on tractor with tandem axle trailer
@@toddreynolds8875 different than washington lol

You can not hear it from the cabin.. Had a l180h with the same sound :)
Don't have to answer this if you don't want to but how big is your company machine wise and employees wise? Or if someone else might know please
Made in Sweden in Arvika :)
Volvo should give u a free mini excavator for all the free pub u give them
G h e um o r
Would taking a run at the stone pile and using the loaders momentum help fill the bucket quicker ?
The little English workshop
Just end up breaking things
Wow
why is there doosan orange on that? it does make the machine look better tho
It is for the safetybars to be clearly visible :)
The backup warning tone sounds like some sort of animal in heat
Joystick, way better than yanking that steeringwheel all day
Just out of curriosity, have any other equipment companies/brands contacted you about doing the same kind of demo with there equipment?
nope... Haters!
Dang, what is that backup alarm?
Steering wheel optional?

What did you think of the Payload Measuring system?
Better than guestimating and then getting jumped on by D.O.T or in the UK VOSA
That's what I thought after all not every truck will take a full bucket load or every customer want one.
R - that’s not to say that Volvo doesn’t include something like that too. I think we’re seeing a ‘quick-and-dirty’ demo here. It would be different if Chris was a regular loader operator and could dig into the bells and whistles.
It's not rocket science Chris, 20.9 Tons X 2 =41,800 Lbs (Emeril Lagasse would be very proud of you)LOL
How big is the bucket?
Did you ever get a video with charlie
No shit when it comes to you not being an front end loader, you probably left there with whip lash!
That's the most annoying back up warning sound I've ever heard.
but you couldnt hear it in the cab, so thats a plus.
Well it’s sorta directional aswell if it’s not backing up twords you, you hardly hear it
Spade bucket and your speed would double. The truck is too far away and also parked wrong. Nice piece of iron.
Someone's buying a new loader
king of the world ;
Now I have head that type of backup alarm before and I can never tell if that’s what it sounds like or the alarm is broken cuz it sounds distorted
I'm confused, how are you steering it?
Joystick in the left hand. Pretty much standard in Sweden.
👍
What do the numbers and letter stand for (L 260 H) thanks.
Loader (26 tons) model H
@@SmoshAhead
The loading weight is about 26 tons. The machine it self is about 39 ton
Little rusty on the loader Chris huh!!! Lolol....just joking pal!!!!
like first time rusty lol
Auuur auuur
I'd want my money back on that loader....somebody put the backup alarm in backwards.
Weird backup alarm lol
Also less noise pollution on the job site. There awesome
The backup alarm had Ebola. It passed two days later. RIP
😅 😅
Te falta mucho devias d cargar n el menor tiempo
Too much driving when loading .
First lol
Second lol
Looks weird.
At least you can't hear that alarm inside the cab.
