Thank you for this. I sometimes find it hard to reign in my anger and use 3 fold law.....well, driving in traffic is hardest. I try not to wish harm on people. I'm not saying being completely a floormat is the way to go but being non-confrontational avoidance helps. Maybe avoiding the commute is an ultimate solution.
Bridget, in fact what you want is to neutralize that person, wishing any harm on someone causes you harm. Neutralize these people, empower yourself. Blessings.

In my opinion this is a trap for the feeble or misunderstood. It opens up a path for one to be target of harm because technically you are making yourself harmless to be harmed (meaning if you defended yourself, you'd harm the person some how.....). And it promotes in suppressing yourself and can be unhealthy and lead to harm to you.
"Learning how to neutralize harm..." - That's the key, along with our already understanding that not only do we not harm others (or ourselves) but actively seek to protect and heal life in all forms. What an awesome influence you are for so many. I do indeed embrace Natural Law, no need to hope :)

As for the "costumes" it was an easy way to let people know a Witch was present when it was not so "cool" to be one, by becoming a target I and others like me opened the door for many more. As for our beliefs. they make us happy, do yours?

@ddangelo0724 Everything you do and think, makes a difference. Correct actions tend to be more powerful than incorrect ones, but keep in mind that the motivations behind actions is important. You should act correctly not so much to atone for past issues but because it is the way you deal with everything from now on.

Why do some musical notes affect us more than others, why do certain rhythms make us move more than others. There is much in our lives that defy conventional measures. You might want to educate yourself a bit more before dismissing something that has survived for millenia.
Tell me Dylan, how familiar are you with the Heisenberg uncertainty principle? What we call science today was Magic a century ago don't you think? The basis for all our work is based on the recognition that thoughts are powerful, we blend this with our art and create beauty.
and don't forget the 7 fold law .(you cannot fold a piece of paper more then 7 times) .this law is also very old .comes from the dark ages when people folded parchment by candle light

In Physics there is the law of action and reaction, psychically the reaction to an incorrect action is threefold. In fact the reaction to a correct action is even greater. You are free to act despite the consequences and you will surely pay the price for it. That is how the universe works. We find it is better to avoid incorrect situations in the first place, and Magick helps us do that.
@JacobDanielRay Actually Jacob, Witchcraft is very specific to the Indo- European roots and is not an umbrella term for all those who do Magick. Other areas and traditions have their own names which have importance and should be respected. But, most nature religions have a lot in common. The Cabot tradition is anchored in the Kent tradition from England our philosophy is the Hermetics, which has much in common with Taoism. Our 501 3c Temple is the Cabot Kent Hermetic Temple.

Nobody should find it ok to just feel the need to curse people just because they feel that person needs that kind of tension in their life. That is foolish to that person if they call themselves a witch and desire nothing more than to destroy not only another person but themselves by wishing harm when they like.

People should be FREE to curse anyone or anything they want to as they please; that is call - will power- and we all have it in heart . I think people can still be a witche/wiccan not following that law, since its a personal choice .
