After moving away from fox it's been the right move in my opinion. Far better tuning your set up is far more important than most realise, when the alarm sounds I know something happened at the rig end. Kevin goes into this and it's a real eye opener best alarms out there receiver range is massive doesn't mean you can walk round the lake and leave ya rods but if your set up and your rods are out of view due to tree's etc you get a far better reception. Top work nash look tasty too.
That was probably one of the best demos given of this equipment, wish you could do that for other stuff like my astronomy equipment, would make life so much easier.
It was just a month and half ago that I wrote to Nash asking if they would make a video to demonstrate the r3's after I bought 3 with a receiver. Kevin Nash wrote back to me offering me a phone call to talk more in depth about the alarms, but it seems my question has been answered! And I found out something in this video that I didn't know existed. I didn't realise the embedded optic could be used without the optic light pipe when using hockey stick set up! another nice little feature! Top alarms
Thanks for uploading this, really helpful. My suggestion is background music playing during the instruction isn't needed, the explanation is very good by itself. Looking forward to using my new R3s.
After much researching I decided on these. Bit tricky to start with but once set up as you like them how often do you actually change settings ..not often really happy with mine
Is there any interference from other anglers who could be using Nash alarms aswell. I’ve bought alarms form TFG. And the angler 2 pegs away from mine also had the sane brand alarms (not same model) . When he had a run both receivers were going off.
I’m having that issue now on the bank , after working fine for 2 years ones just packed in completely , won’t connect to my receiver at all , not sure what to do tbh
Ahhh... After a year testing, superb alarms... The sensitivity setting could be wider of range, the receiver is better then the delkim txi-d and fox rx
Far to complicated. Some features like the low battery alarm are good but they come as standard with most good alarms these days. Try messing around with the "X" button and power button at 3 am when its pitch black and you are half asleep. A simple volume wheel and a on off button would have been a better option. The screw on ears and fiber optic bobbin are a nice feature. But for over £100 RRP these are way to over priced when you can pick up almost the same standard of alarm from another company for around the £40-50 range. Come on Nash you are better than this!

So basically it's the only alarm that you need to have the manual for whilst you're on the bank to operate
I found after watching a few nash videos, in the comment section of most Nash videos there love or hate for Nash war going on lol

Christopher Hughes no mine and my brothers don't connect
luv mine easy to use quality thanks nash
Bloody hell, you need to purchase a Nash engineer on a 24hr call out with each alarm just to operate these ! Baffling.
Awesome so need some of these. I have the s5r alarms already good alarms just don't like the power switch as it's too small.
Squeaky's Life completely agree! I have the s5rs and that button is way to small! In cold weather I struggled to turn mine on!
Where stocks the Bobbins line clips that fit these ?
Can you mute the receiver and just have it vibrate?
Can you have the alarm on silent and only the indications coming from the receiver? Also when in mute mode does it mute the receiver also?
Can you have the silent mode on all the time and just use the receiver?
You can indeed 👍
Help. On my reciever i cant turn the anti theft of.
i want an analogue volume control so i can set it as loud or quiet as it can go. 4 settings seems a bit weak
Any feedback on receiver range? The rs1 receiver is bad when there is any bushes or trees in the way
500m..best receiver ever!!
Trough walls trees.. No problem
@@moneygetten i purchased some a couple year's back, can't see me ever changing there awesome 👌🏼
anyone else had issues with syncing alarms 2/3 have paired 3rd wont
I’m having that issue now on the bank , after working fine for 2 years ones just packed in completely , won’t connect to my receiver at all , not sure what to do tbh
How on earth do I mute the receiver and just have it on vibrate?
I did that but don’t know how and now I can’t turn it back on!
Good video and helpful but can anyone tell what the key is for that comes with reciever?
The tool is used should you wish to change the colour or order of the receiver LED lights
What rods do you fish? Very, very rare 7 Guides...
Can you do a s5r one of these pls and how. To connect to receiver and the features of the s5r pls
Do you have to pair them to the receiver every time you use them or do they stay paired?
They stay paired once you pair them. Have my set 2 years, had no single issue, best alarms on the market!
Can you have the LED’s permanently on for over night
afraid not :-(

With these can you have them in permanently on for night ?

Anybody know how to make the sound come out of your receiver once connected? Mines just lighting up
Hi,
It sounds like you have muted the receiver. If you hold down the 'V' button you should be able to change this 👍🏻
@@OfficialNashTackle thank you very much🤙🏻
🔝
Ну рога еще добавить, для полного счастья. Короче есть всего, но в разных вариантах. А одного эргономичного нет.
To reset the anti theft alarm do you just have to press the A button again.
Hi Jake, simply hold down the button for approximately 2 seconds until you hear two bleeps 👍
S5 with snag ears and tones
Wake up Delkim
;)
Зачем такие сложности. Добавьте в SIREN S5R баты OPTICS LIGHT PIPE KIT и набору, цены не будет - прост и функционален.
I don't have a single problem with mine
