If this gets picked...when EA bought Origin (makers of the Ultima RPG's) it was a tragedy. Origin had even mocked EA in Ultima 7 (I think) and then ends up bought. Ughhhh

Sergio Augusto Gelvez Cortés. Also in Ultima 7 players hasd to gather or destroy i forget 3 symbols which at the time were the EA logo. A cube a pyramid and a cylinder. At the time it wasn't owned by EA so likely it was destroy them as they were evil artifacts.

EA did one good thing i remember. Medal of Honor Airborne. While it certainly wasnt for everyone, i thought it was a great game. Still kinda killed that franchise tho didnt it...damn

My favorite boss from that game is definitely The Boss because, she pretty much spends a big part of the game telling you exactly how to beat her in the end. So anyone who had trouble with that fight (like DSP) simply wasn't paying attention.

I'm saying it's hip for people especially people involved in the industry to act like The Sorrow is the most genius boss fight ever. Honestly all the boss fights other than The Sorrow in MGS3 are remarkable enough to warrant their own discussion. The End in particular is legendary due in no small part to DSP.
Another one for this would be "Dragon Age II" which had the dullest game mechanics ever but a great DA storyline, including introducing characters like Varric and Cassandra that are fan favorites. But... honestly, if you can make it through the snorefest of gameplay then the actual plot is complex, meaningful and socially aware.
@@Highcoleture I couldn't, I just went to the fandom wiki to find out what was relevant to the plot for Inquisition. Hard to finish a game when you dislike the character you play as. Hawk>>>Inquisitor>Warden in my opinion.
@@Highcoleture I liked the combat mechanics in DA2. While it was streamlined from Origins' combat style (that game debuted on PC, i believe) the animations were refreshing to see! But EVERY SINGLE map design in DA2 was insanely boring. Not the architecture and details (that's lore), but the layouts themselves. If only DA Origins was remade and it's combat and special effects animations were replaced with Inquisition's. That would be sweet... *continues dreaming*
Suggestion: 10 achievements/ trophies that are easy to get, but have low completion rates. Ex: jump force has an acheivement to use 100 emotes which takes five minutes but only has a 2% completion rate

Maybe you should do a list of 10 games that could possibly bring back studios to their former glory, for example, possibly a remaster of Banjo-Kazooie could revive Rare’s status to get Microsoft to do something with them if it does good, or if EA does something with Dead Space , or Dungeon Keeper, or other franchises without filling them to the brim with microtransactions.
I would be interested in seeing a "games that were almost licenses" video. Specifically, games that were originally being made with a license attached to it, but that was stripped away from the game before it was released. My favorite game growing up was such a game. It was Nomad, a 1993 DOS game by GameTek, which was originally going to be a Disney game themed around Space Mountain, but for whatever reason that didn't ultimately happen with the final product, which only has tiny vestiges of the original license (the design of the ship and the in-game log being called "Space Mountain Log being the only ones I've caught). Still, I find the concept interesting, for sure.
Suggestion: 10 games that introduced a new mechanic that changed gaming. One that I still remember is being blown away when I first saw ragdoll physics in the original Hitman. I must have murdered that orderly in the tutorial mission a hundred times just to watch his corpse fall or slump over the table in different ways.

How about a "10 video games that tackled serious real life issues"? I would love to see games that deal with depression, anxiety, losses, mental disabilities and the such. Allowing you as the player to be immersed in the character's life as they deal with the issues. I know it would probably be a darker theme but I would love to hear your magical words at the end as they lift me up and allow me to keep moving forward. OMG Mercenaries is actually on a list! The tragedy of Mercenaries 2 for me is that I’ve played it enough to see the moments when the game Pandemic wanted to make shining through and it is glorious, but it sadly doesn’t last long before being spoiled by shoddy design and endless bugs.

I'd be very interested in a list for 10 games that used revolutionary ideas but too early and failed due to the cost. Top of the list should be Republic Commando considering they not only mocapped all the animations almost a decade before it became the default that game companies used, not to mention that they had a Foley Artist do the sound and if you did not know, there are fewer Foley Artists in the world than there are Astronauts.

Mercenaries hit me real hard. Me and my brother absolutely loved the original, played it non stop for a couple years when I was younger. The sequel was OKAY but you could feel the soul sucked out of it if you played the original first
So, from what I heard, the issue with DMC 4 wasn't that they actively chose to have Dante re-play the same levels as Nero, but in reverse, but more than they ran out of time. They supposedly had an entire separate adventure with Dante planned where he was going to have to fight through the underworld, but they ran out of time to actually build those levels. It's a rumor that makes a lot of sense given that the themeing of Dante's Devil Arms in the game doesn't really match the bosses he gets them from (the naming convention doesn't even match the enemy he gets each weapon from) and considering how often game studios are undone by running out of time.

Attention to detail you wish they caught. Example you can use. In the Resident Evil 2 remake when Marvin hands you the notebook it has bloody finger prints. So as soon as the cutscene ended I opened the notebook to find no such for finger prints.
My fave part is simply the last pop/Allude to fighting EA with maybe a 1.51 mill subscriber base, you guys are awesome, never stop inspiring, love to ya all ;)
I was a saga kid growing up. I had them all until they stopped making them all. Saga has some amazing gems that are super rare now. What are some Saga games that were amazing but no one will ever get to play again unless they can shell out the thousands to buy them second hand.
You can also add Sim City, Command and Conquer, Mass Effect, Syndicate and Ultima. (But guess that would pretty much a list of video game franchises ruined by EA)

I still have Mercenaries Playground of Destruction for the Ps2. I'll pop it in and play it every now and again. It needs a remaster or to comeback with a new game with your own custom merc. Imagine how good it could be.

Suggestion: Top 10 stories in video games. However you should exclude all of those very short games, the main story should be at least 8 hours long.

WWE 2K. Once Visual Concepts took over for Yuke's, WWE 2K20 was made. And we know how that game turned out.

I was a saga kid growing up. I had them all until they stopped making them all. Saga has some amazing gems that are super rare now. What are some Saga games that were amazing but no one will ever get to play again unless they can shell out the thousands to buy them second hand.
You can also add Sim City, Command and Conquer, Mass Effect, Syndicate and Ultima. (But guess that would pretty much a list of video game franchises ruined by EA)

Haha Jules, my wife (who isn’t a gamer) loves Simpsons Tapped Out. She played it for ages, the only thing she never did was to put any money into it. So she didn’t actively pay EA to play 😂
