I am about to finish school and have to give my flute back to the place where I borrowed it. I thought „well, okay, it’s time to let some things behind” but after listening to this beautiful piece of art, I am so damn sure that I am going to buy me an affordable flute and won’t give up after 7 years of playing!
I have been playing the flute for nearly a decade, but I'm not a musician and sometimes it gets hard to stick with the instrument. But this piece has reminded how beautiful the flute can sound. And why I chose this fantastic instrument. And that's pretty awesome. Thanks for that!

This is hands down one of my favourite flute pieces ever. I love how the piano and the flute have parts of equal difficulty and it explores the entire range of the flute, which is rare and really nice! I aspire to compose something as beautiful as this one day. Simply incredible.

I then stumbled upon this piece a couple days ago, and have now re-set up my practice space to play this piece (and learn more new ones!) non-stop. I have rediscovered that amazing feeling you get from playing a song you really put your feelings into, and I'm beginning to feel unbridled joy and passion again. I stumbled upon this piece a few months ago. It made me fall in love again with my flute that I haven’t touched in 5 years. I’ve actually played it together with my friend at my graduation ceremony this year, that’s how much I loved it (it’s funny actually, because coincidentally it was the last day of spring). After that people came up to us and said that this song made them tear up and have goosebumps. It now holds a special place in my heart. Thank you!

So I have been playing flute for what is coming up on my eighth year of being a flautist, and first year of being a piccoloist, mostly self-taught until a couple of years ago when I started mixing self-teaching and being taught by a professional, and so most of what I have learnt, especially rhythms, dynamic contour and even vibrato to an extent have all been self-taught. When I decided to mix self-teaching and being professionally taught, everything I learnt was bumped up to the next level, it almost seemed unreal at how well I can actually adapt and learn. I think I started looking at your music a few months ago and arguably this is my favourite. It has allowed me to learn more, and so have your others, and I don't think I can express my gratitude towards what you do.
