Got white smoke it came out then stopped then started up agiian coolant level was below the min level have checked the oil looks good

I have a 1984 ford escort xr3 I took off the webber carborator and cleaned it now when I put it back now when I start the car white smoke comes out of the exhaust. What could be causing the white smoke. It did not smoke before I serviced the carborator

Its usally water that has condensed in the exhaust and engine but its not going to hurt the engine just let it idle for 5 mins and its sorts it out does with my honda cbr
