I live in the US and I don’t have access to buy Little Bites’ Red Velvet Crinkles and I came across this video. I made the crinkles last week and surprisingly they came out delicious!! I had to adjust the amount of sugar mixed with the crinkles though. The cream cheese filling tasted perfect because it compliments with the not-so-sweet crinkles. ☺️ Is it possible if I just freeze then bake it than chilling it for 4 hours?

Shean's Kitchen overnight to 2 days pong naka freezer yung sa akin pero once na tinanggal ko na sya sa freezer and started putting powdered sugar lumalambot/nagiging sticky sya in the process. Bakit po kya ganon?
@@lianeindon158 Same issue din po sa akin. Overnight sya sa freezer tas tinry ko bilisan pag form ng balls then d ko pa napupuno ung pan, ung mga nauna kong na-form into balls nagflatten na agad.

I just did two different batches of these. I used same steps, same amount in grams of ingredients, except the total grams of eggs, same baking time about 9mins. (I lessen the amount of sugar, 1 cup instead of 1 1/2 cups bc its too sweet for me lol) In my observation, the difference is the amount of egg. The 1st batch I used 3 medium eggs, weighs 152g approx total. This is the texture that I've been looking for, moist, chewy, a bit fudgy but not chunky. When I mixed all the ingredients and chill it for 10mins, u could turn it into a ball easily. And for the 2nd batch I used XL sized eggs, about 180g approx. I did not like this one. The mixture is too wet. I chilled it about 2hrs but I can't shape it into a ball. Didn't like the texture, cakey, dry, the taste is gone. Idk why lol. So maybe next time I should only use medium-sized eggs, total of 150g.

For everyone's reference, I followed this recipe and doubled it, but it only yielded 75 crinkles. The only difference was I reduced the sugar (should've been 3 cups, but I put 2 cups of sugar), and I put 4 eggs instead of 6 to balance the recipe. Either way, it should've yielded at least a hundred, I guess? The OP said it yielded 36 pairs. I used the same scoop (1/2 tbsp).
@Sandra I've read several comments from her, saying she made a total of 36 pairs. Her molded 1/2 tbsp looked even bigger on the video than the actual measurement.
@Sandra I wonder if it has something to do with the ingredients I reduced, but I doubt it would make that much of a difference. Any tips? My problem as well, was that the first batch spread nicely, but the second one didn't.

Hello po! I know it's late, pero check the expiration date sa baking powder. Siya kasi yung rising agent sa baked goods so if expired na sya or hindi na active, hindi na magririse yung binake mo :) hope this helps

Hello po. Mas maganda po matigas yung batter para mas madali pong iform ng ball. Pag crinkles madalian po ang pag gawa nyan. Unti unti lang din po ang labas ng batter para hindi sya mabilis lumambot. After po gawin ball yung dough roll agad po sa powder sugar then bake na po agad salang agad sa preheated oven. Kung hindi po agad maisalang yung dough sa oven lagay muna po sa freezer. Yung recipe po na to ay hindi pang cupcakes .

Make sure you less the oil/eggs. Sticky dough is caused by too much moisture
Try to add flour but little by little.

I tried this today.. I put it in the freezer for about 1 hr then nilagay q s baba ng fridge kc bka mag yelo.. Mga 1 hr mhigit s freezer tpos mga 30 mins. Hello po. Mas maganda po matigas yung batter para mas madali pong iform ng ball. Pag crinkles madalian po ang pag gawa nyan. Unti unti lang din po ang labas ng batter para hindi sya mabilis lumambot. After po gawin ball yung dough roll agad po sa powder sugar then bake na po agad salang agad sa preheated oven. Kung hindi po agad maisalang yung dough sa oven lagay muna po sa freezer. Yung recipe po na to ay hindi pang cupcakes .
