The Hook/Emma/Killian scenes are great! The writers teased that they would be giving us something we didn't even know we wanted in the finale...and I think this fits the bill! Anyone else think Emma's REALLY enjoying her roll of seducing Hook? She has a chance to act out some of her fantasies (because really, you don't think she's fantasized about something like that?) without really putting herself out there, because it's more or less acting. I think Killian being jealous of himself is really funny. I kind of love how, despite the fact that Emma's...um...flaunting herself at him, Hook is so struck by her that he keeps his eyes on her face. Despite being someone who obviously isn't opposed to...enjoying what a woman offers...he's so transfixedby her that his eyes never travel south. On a more serious note, this scene really shows how much Killian has grown and changed. Besides the jealousy, he obviously feels contempt for his drunken, womanizing past self.
Did anyone notice how Hook runs his tongue along the edge of his lisps, after Emma approaches his table? It's hilarious. His eyes are wide open, and he almost drools the minute their eyes meet. Great symbolism for his ongoing hunger not only for love, passion, but later on in the season for Emma and her returning love.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the fact that this is all happening for Emma was even born? Like Hook is exactly the same as he is in the future. If he hadn't come back from Neverland when he did, there would be no Captain Swan. Can we just take a second to appreciate the perfect storm of events that lead to this pairing???
They're destine to be together... Past Hook met his future live while Present Hook is still working towards getting her to let down her guards. Past or Present Hook has a strong connection with Ms. Swan a sentiment that she will soon return with no hesitation.
they were definitely meant to be together. Like how else can you explain the fact that he was born 300 years before her but they still managed to fall in love (and not just any kind of love, capital T True Love, love that was strong enough that the most powerful being broke laws of nature just to send him back to her) I refuse to believe that was by chance. It took him 300 years to find her but he did and it's fucking epic.
This sounds crazy but I think when Hook keeps Smee from killing the rat I think it really shows the development of his character. He's starting to care for any kind of life and it's the smallest detail but it just really stood out to me.
What I find funny is that Emma could have let past Hook finish his game and then introduce herself to give present Hook more time. But she straight up walked to him because she wanted to try "being" with him without actually committing to it.
Two things after coming back to this. 1. I don’t think hook is jealous, I think he’s concerned. He knows who he used to be and doesn’t want Emma to be treated that way. He already loves her and knows she deserves better than that. 2. It would’ve made a lot more sense to have hook find someone else. It would’ve taken him longer to find another girl and get her to go back with him, which would lead present hook to have more time. So it’s very clear who the jealous title belongs to.
Love when 'past' hook scoots closer to Emma. He's definitely turned on in this scene. It shows how easily Emma can seduce hook given the chance. He let the other girls go and was immediately focused on Emma. Hook may be used to going to bed with women namely bar wenches but with her he was antsy as hell to take her back to the ship for the 'um' nightcap (definition: Sex). She had to keep getting him to drink and focused on the drink just to stop him. Emma running her hand across his leg was a hot scene as well. Though I'm sure that just turned him on even harder. Hell the minute he got back to the ship and chased Smee away he immediately went down to the quarters where she was. He was all over her hoping she wouldn't leave as he stated. Which was a worry for 'present' hook given Emma was currently pushing him away in the way that 'present' hook longed, craved and ached to be with her in. That girl has one hell of a hold on him past, present or alternate I'll admit I envy.
This scene is amazing hook talking about his drunk self and drinking too much to where he won't remember the night hilarious . Hook telling Emma to go distract his past self Emma taking the cue that means to get all sexy wench bar maid . Hook being all like I object to this Emma, Emma being all sassy we all know I am your type . Emma flaunting the jewels for past hook to ogle , these two doing shots like nobody's business the epic flirting Emma touching the hook all seductively , the touch of the thigh under the table, hook moving in to her personal space it was delicious
Anyone wondering what it would be like to have the old dark heart hook to go against the good hook? Without the good one throwing a cheap shot? I bet it would be something to see. I love how the modern hook warns swan about his old self. Just how much more of a bad boy was his old self? Ohh and did anyone else need to fan themselves when she pushes him back down under the table?
