Will go end of May 2023 for 3 weeks to l’Estartit and in September again for 4 weeks. I’m doing it now for more than 30 years inn a row and still love the place.
Its so easy for Dutch people to drive to Estartit. Just 2 days" drive. No passport, no currency change, no ferries. Just go. That's why it's full of Dutch people. ( In normal years!)
We where driving there this very summer in 2021! And we have driven there almost every summer since 2006, love it!

drove down it last year ,,, and more than likely this year ,, in a camper van , stayed 2nd campsite on right after lidl ,,, great place

I’m planning on driving from Girona airport to L’Estartit. I’ve never driven abroad before (from the UK). How difficult is the drive?
Then be aware of they are driving in the wrong side of the road!
