- 'Friends' stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer return to their TV home in the highly anticipated HBO Max 'Friends' reunion special, out May 27. ET's Nischelle Turner spoke with the ladies, who said it was emotional to film. They also talk about where their characters would be today, why their bond is so unbreakable and what fans can expect from 'Friends: The Reunion.'

Lisa still looks really natural. Out of all of them her and David look the most like they did when the show finished.
Anniston has too much filler. I also think Joey looks good even with the gray hair and weight gain. I think Lisa Kudrow has had a good facelift rather than going the filler route.

I love how close they all still are! They truly made some friends for life and thats what makes the show so authentic and comforting, it just feels so real

@mika nope that's it.. but we know that they will be emotional and that will make us emotional and all. And that nostalgoc feeling when we were watching the series for the first time.. ughh.. then it all will be over after a couple of hours and we will never see those 6 together again. So, it's gonna be something that'll make us reach to tissues all the night ;-)

Rachel and Joey became pretty successful by the end of the show, probably more than the other 3.

I have most friends who spend more than us. Not that they make more, but SPEND more. The things that I never buy and would never spend $500 on a meal 'somewhere nice'.
@Miss Lecter If I remember right, her family cut her off for ditching the wedding they had to pay for. That's how she ended up a waitress.
@@imscanon Rachel wasn't so much cut off... It was a decision she made. After she ran out - and her father did threaten to her cut her off - she cut up her credit cards (which were financed by either Barry or her parents) and began financial independence. How she lived in that apartment in New York as a waitress is the stuff of unicorns.
It’s gonna be so hard to watch this reunion because it’ll probably be the last we ever see them 😔💔

In my mind, Ross is a dean in NYU, Chandler works with tech companies maybe Google/Apple/Amazon, Monica won Hell’s Kitchen and opened a restaurant, Joey teaches acting in NYU, Phoebe in a long distance relationship with Mike cause he’s in Europe, co-own Central Perks and still plays for pennies in her own cafe 😂

Most of them seem plausible (I don't think I like the Phoebe one very much though), except for Joey; I mean, in order to be any kind of professor you have to have, at least, a bachelor's degree. Joey barely graduated high school 😂

Don't know why the fans are so surprised that the cast have aged. Look at yourselfs in the mirror you have aged too.

i think people are more unimpressed by their plastic surgery based on what I see in the comments. It is their bodies and they should do what they want BUT Jenn did write a 2 page note to some magazine bashing how women are scrutinized and the main focus is their appearance and then goes under the knife........she basically fed into what she is saying, which is her choice but does sadden me not that my opinion matters.

This is by far the best reunion Hollywood could produce for this year. The original characters is crucial for any reunion.
When I watched this I came to realise that old memories will never be back again. They are different people with different shapes and voices.

Took a pandemic to bring a Friends reunion. I own every season and cried when it went off.
I wish they would bring out the COMPLETE series, with all the deleted scenes. I'm watching deleted scenes on youtube that I never saw on the episodes I bought and neither when it was aired. I would realy want the see the COMPLETE series.

Like Jen says, there was something that went into their neuro pathways from day one that it was in their DNA that they were family, and they were going to take care of each other forever. No questions asked. No competition, no conflict, and no eggshells. ❤
Lately, i've been feeling down. I don't know what it is, and i remember feeling this way a long tim ago and watching Friends, it made me so much better somehow and i still love that show, in fact- i still watch it so much. Recently i've been feeling the same way but maybe worse, but now nkowing there this amazing, incredible reuinion, i feel better already. These 6 really make me happy :)
It is the nostalgic memory linked to the show. We could relate to friends cz it was comforting for some of us who didn't have many friends or a supportivs family. Although it was a bliss to watch the show. Now that I'm older I do understand how it set an unrealistic expectations in real life. I see the show in a different light now , not to take away all the lovely memories I had watching this with my then friends. 👍

During the years if I needed a good laugh or a feel good moment I would rewatch Friends! It's nice to see them all together again. I can't wait to see the reunion show!! You can definitely see the love they all have for one another!

I may be only 24 years old, but this show is sooo relevant to emotional and real-life struggles! I was born in January 1997, right around the time Rachel and Ross had a certain itty bitty spat... Nothing says "Welcome to the World, Little One" like hearing "WE WERE ON A BREAK!" LOL! I proudly own all 10 Seasons on DVD, uncut and uncensored with ALL the bonus features! I also share a lot of familiar traits with the characters, such as Joey's appetite for food, Monica's attentiveness to detail, Chandler's sarcastic wit, Phoebe's adorable weirdness, Rachel's work ethic, and Ross' sensitiveness.
Hah! I was in college when this show started and my girlfriend at the time made me watch it with her. At first I thought is would be some kind of girl show, but fell in love with it. I was a few years younger than the characters, but the show gave me hope there was actually a fun life after college.
They weren't divas before the show. None of them were famous before Friends which probably helped them to be grateful and stay grounded.

It’s just weird to see the cast older. I mean, I watched the show last year and at the time I was born they were already in the final seasons. I watched Ben as a kid and he’s older than me

I wish I could see The Reunion, but I'm not paying for HBO. When I see Matthew Perry, I just want to cry. Bless his heart for battling his struggles and showing up. Kudos for all 6 of them for appreciating what a great experience they shared. I have always envied the casts of Friends, MASH, Cheers, Mary Tyler Moore Show, Carol Burnett Show et al who shared creativity, laughter, hard work, and fun together in a place that came into our homes and hearts forever. Thanks to the WRITERS whom deserve the all the credit and sadly whom we don't know by name or faces. I hope they got millions in salaries, too. They are the true geniuses behind such successful shows.

The problem is that people are still watching Friends videos often so they still see them as 25 year olds. So when they watch their new interviews , suddenly their actual appearance comes as a shock to them. They forget that the actual actors must've aged after all.
