Q The Music are the world's leading tribute to James Bond Music. Formed by professional Trumpeter and James Bond fanatic Warren Ringham in 2004 as "The Bond Band" (and re-named Q The Music in 2013), and as the first ever James Bond Tribute Band they specialised in the music from the James Bond films...not just songs, but cues and instrumentals too. The band has gone on to perform around the UK and across the World in Germany, The Maldives, Switzerland, Italy, Monaco, Majorca, Gibraltar, Cyprus, and Guernsey. Primarily a fully live 13 Piece Covers band, the band have been known to scale up and down to perform at smaller private events, or even as an orchestra for their performance in London's West End (for example).

The band splits it’s time between private events and theatre shows, but it's the latter where people can come and see their show called “The James Bond Concert Spectacular”. For the latest dates you can see the show, don't forget to check out our website: www.qthemusicshow.com/seetheshow
Available Worldwide (either as a concert or for events), they will set off your event perfectly and will completely WOW your guests. In the UK, they have performed at some very high profile events including Pinewood Studios (where James Bond is filmed), a national Dixons event at Birmingham NEC, and pretty much every major venue in the country. In 2013 the band appeared on BBC TV.
The band is a regular supporter of James Bond fan events: such as On The Tracks Of 007 and Bondstars.
In 2017 the band were delighted and honoured to be asked to perform at Sir Roger Moore’s Memorial Event: a stage at Pinewood dedicated in his name. They performed as part of an event that saw speeches from Sir Michael Caine, Dame Joan Collins, David Walliams, and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson*.
In 2019 the Band were invited to perform at Piz Gloria (where much of On Her Majesty's Secret Service was filmed) for the 50th Anniversary of the film - an event attended by George Lazenby himself!
Smaller versions (such as 6 or 10) of the above group are sometimes more appropriate to suit space size and budget as required and they will perform 2 hours of music (James Bond and then party music after that if you wish).
Q The Music are a fully self contained band - they come with a fantastic lighting show, top of the range professional PA system and engineer, DJ, and you can enhance the show with lookalikes, dancers and other fab additions! The band also put on one of the hottest party sets around - an explosive party/covers set!

Percussionist and Lead Vocalist Matthew Walker plays a Percussion trigger - to trigger all those stunning extra sounds (Harps, Timps, FX, Marimba, Vibes, Gong, etc etc)
The band plays to click track - so the tempos are 100% accurate every single time.
The Guitarist (normally) plays with a wireless body pack for freedom of movement.
The band plays with two keyboards - primarily Keys/Synth and Strings - to create the huge Barry-esque sound!

Just love this John Barry score. So underrated. Quite modern for the time, but still sophisticated and lush. And he didn"t forget to add some romanticism into that gorgeous "Kara's Theme", a very special piece and one of my favourites. 😍
I think it’s his best tho it made him quit the bond series (that’s why you see him as the conductor in the film) because he got angry with the collaboration with A-ha

“Kara meets Bond” aka “If There Was A Man” is one of Barry’s most beautiful ballads … great orchestration .. beautifully done !!

When I hear this, I picture Bond in Gibralter jumping onto the roof of the landrover full of explosives on fire!
Everyone do yourselves a favor, right after you play this, load up “Inflight Fight” that they just did. I wish they would of appended that onto this it flows all together in the movie.
My favourite Bond score, and you arranged and played it beautifully. "Hercules Takes Off" is one of my top Bond pieces. The only thing missing from yours is the harp. I love how it sounds with a real drum kit.

(Kara and Bond are driving down road near the Czechoslovak-Austrian border in his Aston Martin V8. The radio suddenly tunes into a local channel)
*Kara -shocked) - You've picked up the police frequency.
(Bond) - Must be an atmospheric anomaly!
(Kara listening to radio)"It says they are looking for a foreign car, a man and a woman"
(Bond)"...and a cello" (Police car turns around) "And they've just found us!"
(Police officer in car) Zastavte na stranu a zastavte auto!.....Pull over to the side and stop!
(laser beam in wheel hub slices police car in two. Kara is shocked)
(Bond) Salt corrosion!
(Kara listening to radio) They are setting up roadblocks ahead!
(Montage of police commandeering trucks to block a road tunnel)
(Bond activates targeting device on the windscreen of his Aston. Kara is shocked)
(Bond) I've had a few optional extras installed!
(Aston fires missiles ... Blows up truck ... Drives through blockade and into tunnel ... police bullets bounce off it. Kara is shocked)
(Bond) Amazing stuff this new safety glass!
(Armoured car blocks their road. Kara is shocked and screams. Car turns around)
(Bond hands Kara a map) See where this leads to.
(Montage of snow vehicles and armoured car in pursuit)
(Kara) - This road only leads to the lake.
(Man lifting outboard motor from the back of a Skoda ahead. Kara is shocked and screams. Aston Martin drives through cabin and drags it onto the lake. Czech soldiers fire rifle grenades onto them)
(Bond) Time to leave! (Aston smashes through cabin as it explodes. More explosions around them, one blows away the front tyre. Bond drives in a circle and makes a hole in the ice that the Police Lada chasing them stops on and begins to sink)
(Bond opens the lateral skis and rear rocket) - Hold on (The Aston races towards a cabin. Kara looks shocked. They leap over the cabin and waiting soldiers thanks to convenient ramp. Lada chasing them crashes into cabin. Aston slides down mountainside and crashes to a halt between trees. They get out and see they are being chased by skiers and a snow truck)
(Kara) We almost made it!
(Bond) They haven't caught us yet (pulls out cello. Skiers approach. Aston blows up.)
(Skiers and snow truck soldiers chase down mountainside. Bond and Kara are using the cello case as a toboggan.)
(Bond waves the cello around to avoid it getting hit) Good thing I made you take the cello! (bullet hole rips into it) Sorry!
(Austrian border crossing approaches. Bond pulls out their passports) Quick, wave this!
(They pass under the barrier to the dismay of Austrian police officer) Bond - We've nothing to declare!
(Kara, echoing off) Except a cello ...(echo ..cello! cello! cello! .....as they head down the mountain to Austria)

One question: Can you do some tracks that are still unreleased from the movies? Like the "Venini Glass" and "Gondola Chase" from Moonraker, "Bond Arrives in India" from Octopussy or "Bond Investigates Krest's Acquarium" from Licence To Kill? Or it is not possible?
Hi Dan, thank you for the kind words! The trouble is, these cost thousands to do and we don't ever really cover the cost. Unfortunately, the tracks you've mentioned in particular are just to obscure for our audience to really justify doing them!
Anyway, there are still quite a few to go up...
I didn’t realize these costed thousands to do. Is it because of royalty payments to EON or some other rights holder?
