Yeah, certainly. Although very similar ethnically and geographically North Korea and South Korea are polar opposites politically. South Korea isn't so much different politically than the United States today where as North Korea most resembles a confined Stalin's USSR.

Because you asked why your picture got all dark, your camcera probably uses automatic brightness adjustment, I also saw some automatic whitebalance. You can look up some tutorials for your cam on how to manually adjust your camera so it will stop changing the lights in your video. Best wishes
