My keith moment was I finally got around a corner that was working on and I forgot to detach the winch cable from the tree. Went to take off and I ended up flipping my rig enrolling over. So any end up going up and down the mountain. The only way to save it was to cut the cable and let roll the rest of the way down the mountain
Remote beach in sw oz, son and I made the great decision to drive it 13 kms solo, not a soul in sight. 2001 troopy 1HZ. Got a bit soft and we were hung up on the tide line with the waves getting a bit close. Maxx trax and giving it heaps, timing belt tensioner gave way. Panic stations, put a bolt with some washers through the flogged out pulley and 3 hours of 8 psi and maxx trax later made it out. Had a few well earned bush chooks and drove home 150 k’s with all sorts of noise coming from the pulley, just turned the music up full bore. God bless the mighty 1HZ!
I shared this with other channels before I don't know if you're going to see this but. I have a little chevy s Ten with a three fifty in it. I was climbing on a rock ledge trying to get around a top of a mountain. When Is 1 Of my tires popped on the downside of the hill . I ended up rolling down the hill. I saw the sky fourteen times by the time I stopped. Everyone else that was with me. Thought I was dead. My best friend. Ran down the mountain. To help me get out. He thought I was seriously injured but thank god I put that exterior roll cage on my vehicle. I still have the vehicle. I ended up buying another one that was the same year. And transferred everything I could to it it's still a project going on. I have spinal issues from it but I can't wait to go back and try it again
Perfect Keith moment for me. Tried to do a classic track and got myself majorly hung up. 3 wheels off the ground and broke my gearbox mount into 3 pieces slammed my fan through the radiator and snapped both engine mounts, front drive shaft, both front cvs and snapped axle in the rear diff. Major Keith moment right there. Don’t do my trick
Bought a brand new 60 series land cruiser was out in the middle of no where on a beach by myself and drove and parked on the waters edge and the car sunk into the sand and couldn’t get it out so had to walk a whole day through a 4 wheel drive track to find a farmer to help then when we got back to the beach the day after that she had gone for a few swims and when we pulled it out all the leaf spring shackles had flipped upside down so it had like a 8 inch lift
My Ute stopped running the other day on the way home about a week ago. 3 1/2 hrs later changed fuel filer, bled all the fuel lines several times I could not get it to stay running until I’d realised I had bumped the sub fuel tank switch and the tank was empty.
YesSiRr!! Nice one Fellaz!! Awesome stuff!! Mate... Once I wore me Bloody Chandles in the mud..not only they got stuck, they BROKE the suckers!!🤣🤣😆😉🔫🔥!! Lol! Thankz for sharing BOYS..take it easy!!
Jase's Voice, probably a modern country singer...reminds me of Luke Bryan and Cole Swindell. Just recently subscribed and now an addict to your channel. Love from Zimbabwe
I wish I could post photos here hahah. I was hunting pigs on the weekend and came to a bridge I hadn’t gone over before. Anyway one of the logs let go. Was in a fair bit of strife. Had to leave the rig there overnight, walk outta the bush and into reception with my 3 dogs and ring the wife to come get me. Not the phone call she wanted at 7AM. Retrieved my rig the next day via the skull drag method with a mate. Can’t beat the old 2.8 hiluxes for durability
On holidays and we were reversing the boat in and it wouldn’t come off so after about 4 tries of gradually getting harder reversed into the water slammed on the brakes and BANG all the Ratchet straps were on
I got my husbands 80 series bogged in the backyard last weekend. Wheels were spinning and he was sitting back shaking his head in shame. Lol had to get get the max trax dirty for the first time ever. My bad!
After about 2 weeks worth of rain, my mates and I decided to go 4x4 driving, and me being me went off the beaten track and bam pop 7 inches down and bogged to the nut house, only to find out my hubs were locked in! Haha
Doing the Telegraph Track on Cape York a few years ago and decided not to do a difficult creek crossing with camper trailer on behind so took the bypass chicken route instead. While driving the chicken route which was a perfectly good dirt road in light rain we came up to a corner and saw a couple of empty beer cans hanging on a tree and wondered what they were there for. There was also a puddle on the corner that only looked a few cm’s deep so drove straight into it without a second thought only to have the Landcruiser buried itself in a metre deep bog hole and brown muddy water finding its way inside. Motto of the story: When the beer tree is in fruit, stop and take a look before proceeding.
Completed my certificate 4 in Farming and agricultural a few years back, our local TAFE lecturer came out onto our farm for us and a cupple surrounding dairy farm workers to complete our quad bike licences, he was proceeding to show us the correct safe way 2 reverse a four wheeler off of a trailer when somehow he managed to lean on or got hes shirt sleeve wrapped up with the exhilaration button and the new quad flu off the back of the trailer rolling on to him and hurting him quite badly he was stuck and we had to lift it off him
Went fishing up exmouth with two mates and we were waiting at the boat ramp to retrieve the boat, everyone before us was bogged on the concrete ramp so my m8 drove onto the beach to retrieve the tinny. As soon as it hit the trailer that was it, one bloke tried to give us a snatch ... Then another hooked up to the front of him and we were out, 45 min run around trying to beat the tide .
My Keith moment was when I crossed the Herbert river on my quad bike fine but swamped it coming back due to crossing against the current, ran home to get my 4wd to provide a winching point, got the quad out, de watered it but, long story short got my 4wd stuck in the river trying to get back up the bank, 4wd spent the night in the fresh water and required a 4wd tractor to get it out the next day! Still cop a ribbing to this day ( years later)! So drowned two vehicles in one night!
Back in the 70's I bought a brand my first brand new FJ40 short wheel base landcruiser. Thought I'd give this 4 wheel driving a go. Drove over a fairly large sand pile and ended up with the wagon sitting perfectly level on its skid pan with all 4 wheels nicely clear of the ground by half a metre. No shovel and on my own in the middle of nowhere. Talk about a head scratching few hours.
Went 4 wheeling down near Stroud checked every bog hole came to the end of the day didn’t check the last bog hole and drowned the 4wd biggest Keith moment
Took my brand new pathfinder up the beach in the pouring rain and driving through fresh water track it turned to quick sand and swallowed the car to the cills Took 4 hours of digging and winching with Max tracks in the pouring rain to recover the car. Biggest Keith moment also to top it off had the wife sitting in the passenger seat saying I told you so 🙄🙄🙄
we have a tech in the radio industry " keith" he is a legend in Qld and uses duck tape to fix everything that breaks or needs fixing. from fixing cups with duck tape, to under severe storms and lightening holding marquees up with zip ties and duck tape he does it all.At CMC Rocks each year he is the go to for all technical, rain hail or storms, wil work through anything and fix anything! I have heard lots of great stories on him bogging radio station vehicles,, fixing things with what ever he has on him and doing what a "keith" does best!
I fitted manual hubs to a SR5 Hilux. After getting stuck in 4WD and winching out, I realised I forgot to lock them in and had only fitted them days before.
At Kurnell near Sydney on beach in a suzuki with mates came across brand new land rover discovery bogged on top of sand hill it was a photographer for penthouse and his model for the photo shoot we did a Keith by taking ages in helping him recover his vehicle even though all we had to do was engage the diff locks and reverse it out, my mates kept the girl company while I pretended to help
Years ago my mate and I were out pig hunting in his fj 47,we had driven down a track which ran alongside the farmers paddock, on the left side was a 30metre drop into heavy scrub to the right was a muddy ditch he picked the ditch thank God.it was a real Keith moment, the Ute was stuck there for 2days before we could get the farmer to tow the ute out and then my mate all most backed it in the bog hole he got towed out of .we don't call him boga for nothing
My Keith moment was the salt flats near golden beach vic ,forgot to turn off traction control the harder I pushed the throttle the slower the Mitsubishi went until the running boards were at ground level with no forward movement .Yep stuck in the puss
My Keith moment - was about to blitz it through a deep mud track, local guy says there is a fairly big boulder in the middle. Na she’ll be right i said ill keep to the left. Foot down... on the left as per plan.. got sucked into the middle and Keith’d my steering rod on on the boulder and the wheels ended up pointing in opposite directions. Ended up putting a nearly 90 degree bend in the rod.. good times.
After a skin full of mangos I got dropped home, was in two feet drive and couldn't get up the driveway for about 20 minutes so I rang the misses up and she came outside to save the day, in my defence it had been raining.
Just purchased my first 4x4 Hilux with all the lift kit bullcrap and thought I'd quickly take it up a track I saw on the side of the road by myself. Got aprox 200mtrs up the track and saw some muddy water so went to drive thru it and whole car just dropped up to the diffs with the drivers rear hanging out in the air. No winch or any recovery gear, I found some discarded heavy as F@#k concrete rocks to pile under the raised wheel and the wheel jack to lift front of ute a bit for traction on concrete. took me over 3hrs to get it out, got home covered in swampy muddy crap, one jandel and ute stank for weeks. never took that ute 4x4ing ever again and never told a single soul. New job taught me everything about 4x4 and recovery properly. Top tip* do a course to help gain proper knowledge and confidence, and don't 4x4 alone!
My Kieth moment was going to Barrington tops in a 2wd, no chains or anything, staying for 4 days in the snow getting stuck 3 times on the way out had to leave the car at the dingo gate for a day because the cops wouldnt let us go anywhere but got out in the afternoon
My Kieth moment was driving to our favorite camp site. This road is dirt but flat and graded. A passenger car can drive this section. Well I pulled off to take a pee, thinking with my new tires I'll just back up onto the road instead of the easier just pull forward back onto the road and i bury it to the axles! still have no idea how that happened or why I did that. Haha
100mm rain fell overnight at camp, got boat trailer stuck, reversed trailer into a tree, bent the outboard prop shaft, no winch at the time, had to unhook the trailer and go into town, 2 hour time window before another 40mm of rain Stressed out, 100 mosquitos in the cab, windshield fogged, 1st gear 4hi, misjudged trail exit 60km/h wheel speed right into the forest, de-limbed 15 feet of a 14 inch fallen tree. Reversed out and used my eyes to drive out the trail. Got to town, bought hi lift, made it back, spent 2 hours recovering boat and trailer with a hi lift in a downpour and mosquitos.
Keith Moment: Maybe not! Not one of mine I was playing at an off-road site in the UK known as the Devil's pit (imagine tank trap size holes). Well, a guy in a new unmodified Land Rover Discovery screams into the site and immediately bangs through two black routes (extremely modified vehicles only) and then a red route (modified vehicles only) before we managed to stop him. The running boards were bent up severally to prevent the doors from opening. He had two screaming kids and a crying wife in the back seat and a very pissed-looking gent in the front passenger seat. Driver just sat there grinning from ear to ear. The two kids and the wife had to be lifted through the windows as did the front passenger after taking back the keys. Turns out the guy was on a test drive from the local dealership and it wasn't authorized offroad. The front passenger was the salesman Conclusion police were involved, and charges laid, reckless endangerment was the worst. He bought the vehicle for the full asking price despite it being scrap value and I was told the wife filed for divorce. Oh and his insurance company cancelled his insurance and he lost his licence to drive for a few years. For five minute of fun he screwed his life. Royally!
Moore River, WA we came around a corner in the river and it got super deep super quick, dog in the back we crawled through it and only just made it out the other side. Got to the other side and my wonderful boyfriend decided he’d go and do it again 🙄 I stayed on the bank for this one and waited for him to come around the corner.....he flooded the car, somehow busted the diff and we had to limp home in 4wd 😣 the old girl never started again after that.
A fair few years ago I was at a 4wd event opposite the old ettamunga pub driving a n 84 Hilux petrol extra cab going around the course came over a medium jump with a diagonal trench in front after the medium jump needless to say when I landed the gas pedal jammed right open I hit the diagonal trench that you were supposed to approached slowly at full boar and the hilux lifted that high in the front a six foot bloke could of walked under the front diff. Everyone yelled and applauded me thinking I did it on purpose little did they know I was actually crapping me pants when it landed I had my 4 road tyres and toolbox punched into the front of the styleside. The old president of Moreton district 4WD club had the video footage. So that was my big stuff up. Needless to say I traded it in on a four runner the next day.
My mates and I went camping during a rain storm. We had a lot to drink. One of my mates needed to go to the bush toilet in the dark. He grab the toilet roll and shovel. He comes back and said I had ants bite me on the bum. 10 min later it’s getting worse. I went to the back of the Ute and could smell petrol but only the toilet paper was there. The jerry can had leaked and the toilet paper had soaked some up. He thought it was just wet. So it wasn’t ants 😂😂😂 Petrol on the ring gear 😂😂😂😂
My Keith moment Is when my dad let me take his Ute for a drive down the paddock and I got to close to 10ft fresh dug drains and slipped in to it drowned thee cab of the Ute with just the snorkel sticking out the top
I was 17, left home for my first trip away with a mate in dads old farm Ute. We were driving to Israelite bay from Esperance along a rough section of road with a lot of mud traps in the middle of the track. We came up to the biggest one and I straddled the hole to get over. No worries, through without a problem. But then I though, hmm, that would make a cool photo with the Ute parked over that mud pit, so I reversed up. Not one second later and the whole Ute slid sideways, straight off and into the mud pit. Sh*t. We were not going anyway. No reception and no proper recovery gear. 6 hours later I’d managed to find a bar of reception and call a ranger to come and help us. So that’s my Keith moment, and I love it because I know not to do stupid shit like that again!
mine was in my old 40 series, went down a track I'd been down 1000 times before and my teenage son goes, the other side track dad, that one is the real deep hole. Me, nah, you don't know what you're talking about. Anyway, that resulted in mud over the top of the seats, flooded car, winch submersed so of course it wouldn't work and 3 hours of hard yakka using the high lift as a hand winch while the kids swam in the mud puddle. Drove it home with an inch of mud on everything, up on some car ramps and hosed it out. Wasn't to long after that the gear box, rear diff, clutch all let go.
My truck fell in quick sand in 1994 an we can't get it out and it's still the there . went back with a fish finder it's 18 foot deep we see it on the screen.😞 im still sad guys. Was a toyota 1984 4x4 strate axle.
COVID got bad, warning out boarders are closing, we were back of VIC so heading over NSW boarder ASAP, we were making for Delegate, our gravel road was a ripper along with the logging trucks taking up all the room, I’m driving, loose gravel, pot holes, drop offs, getting worried but doing it ....the the other half says, you think it would go better in 4WD ?? .... I ruined the dash cam audio
My actual names Keith, I own a $3000 GQ blew that POS right up towing a XP1000, fkd thing is I had to convince the dragon lady it’s worth fixing it 😳, $8500 later she says I hope it’s worth it and believe me it’s hard agreeing.
My best and worst Keith moment xmas eve 2008 Marysville lady Talbot drive meant to be back at camp/timeshare by lunchtime for secret Santa good old dad aka me thinks that puddle looks great I’ll go through that in a very stock Gu2 zd30 auto so long long long story short 5 kids missus stuck diffed out puddle chest deep says to missus stay here me and the oldest boy will walk back to some campers on track to get help btw no recovery gear onboard either so after 20k walk nearly back to town lol find old mate with a Landry discovery think gold hey mate can I possibly get hand from ya please missus and other kids stuck up road just need a tug out old mate says yes no drama but only got old to line aka 5mm hooks and steel line thinking to myself well not the worst thing of had to use to tow someone lol so anyways get to find missus had shut truck off and unbeknownst to her or forgetting the front end is in chest deep water so we get the truck out using said implement only to find transmission and transfer case had sucked up a heap of water rendering the 150k drive home in second gear long long long long drive home and after getting home to find repair bill of close to $14k new trans and transfer case new radiator so lesson kids hate dad for missing secret Santa missus hates dad for getting everyone stuck on Xmas Eve dad hates dad for wrecking truck and costing savings to repair oh well shit happens
The absolute Best show on TV with 2 of the best guys well done.

I love how jase is like it was just a normal 4x4 rollover and just ignores the fact that it’s worth a quarter of a million dollars
Nice content boys. How's i also bought a nissan 2.5TD and then filled it Orchid beach Fraser Island with unleaded!!!
Went fishing up exmouth with two mates and we were waiting at the boat ramp to retrieve the boat, everyone before us was bogged on the concrete ramp so my m8 drove onto the beach to retrieve the tinny. Stressed out, 100 mosquitos in the cab, windshield fogged, 1st gear 4hi, misjudged trail exit 60km/h wheel speed right into the forest, de-limbed 15 feet of a 14 inch fallen tree. Reversed out and used my eyes to drive out the trail. Got to town, bought hi lift, made it back, spent 2 hours recovering boat and trailer with a hi lift in a downpour and mosquitos.
Got my dihatau rocky bogged on a sand hill haha had to get someone to come help me out about an hour out of town

Sounds like you need a new boyfriend hun!
Did I mention I've got a beautiful four-wheel drive! Ha ha lol Joking! RIP hollys 4x4. 😵
Parked!!
not bogged..
His one moment a Yadickheday moment.
Love it
Going into my property with my father in the wet and its boggy in the wet
Locked in the hubs
Forgot to put it in.4wd
The tow truck driver got a laugh
Got an Avis rental Mitsubishi Pajero up to the chassis in soft mud with highway tyres
Can't wait til I win the rig
mine was in my old 40 series, went down a track I'd been down 1000 times before and my teenage son goes, the other side track dad, that one is the real deep hole.

Where’s when the snatch went wrong and Simon rolled the 79
That’ll probably be in Simon’s Top 5 at #1

There's a saying, 'I don't mind getting old as long as I don't grow up', hopefully they don't and we keep getting good content like this!

I am Keith, does that count for anything?
Is Keith the male version of Karen?

It’s amazing all the 4x4 UA-cam channels have to copy each other because you can’t come up with your own original content
