This is another good video. You always know how to talk about him. Recently I found some negative news on his fans by some unscrupulous people, with the emphasis of Cheng Yi. I think I have put one more piece of the puzzle into the place. It appears that fans like to compete about their idols. It seems to be a useless contest to me. As Cheng Yi's fans, they need to prioritize. Perception sometimes is more damaging than fact. Only focusing on the most important things. For example, another actor's fans may say, our idol has already worked with this famous director and yours has had only one conversation. If I were them, I would simply say, "congratulations". Another example would be our idol has the most resources. Cheng Yi's fans' response would be, "good for you". Our idol played real well but yours didn't do it well. Cheng Yi's fans' response, "I am sorry that you feel that way." That's it. It would not only save their time to do more important things, but also look very cool. These types of people can't stand to be ignored. If they try it, Cheng Yi's fans' may find out that they actually feel good. Any time they debate about this type of things, they not only have less time to do more important things for Cheng Yi, but also they may leave the public with a bad impression. It's just not worth it. If it's about some important things regarding, for example, seemingly overworking Cheng Yi, they may bring it to the attention of the company in a diplomatic way but may not need to push it to the extreme (unless it's detrimental to Cheng Yi in major ways). Most of the time, the company would start to accommodate subtly but not to be seen as being coerced. Everyone has some ego. If your care is about Cheng Yi's well-being, the only thing that is important is to achieve your goal and not leave the public with the wrong impression. It appears to me that his enormous fan base seems to be one of the things that attract some envy. Giving the impression of his fans being aggressive may not be good for Cheng Yi. Just like extolling his virtues is not the same as boasting. The author does it well here. Getting things done to support him doesn't have to leave the impression of being aggressive. Perception sometimes is more important than facts. Any perception of his fans will certainly impact Cheng Yi. Viewers decide if the performance is good or not as Cheng Yi said several times.
