Hi Adam thanks for your feedback. I honestly was really shocked how bad it was. Since I thought I did something wrong but every time I repeated the test I always got the same results. So yes unfortunately the preamps aren’t good at all.
@@pauleporterdp you can get better audio from a $200 tascam recorder, which is what I do for all my audio, then again you have 48v Phantom power for XLR and a ton of gain that you can add so obviously the audio is massively better plus the preamps are from a known manufacturer.

BMPCC 6K = $2,000 ZCam E2 F6 = $4,000 Is the ZCam F6 worth twice the price? No way. Here the F6 has shallower DOF due to FF, giving it a more pleasing image, but simply changing the lens on the BMPCC6K would allow the BMPCC6K to match the DOF. My big nit pick with the ZCams in general is the color science and skin tone. The skin looks too pink, which is a huge no, no.
I'm not sure where this misconception that BRAW is better than ProRes comes from. It's been proven time and again that ProRes is that little bit better at preserving details than BRAW as BRAW is more compressed.

Pretty sure the red shift is caused by infrared pollution at your shooting conditions
Yes that’s true.
@@pauleporterdp yeah, I got the IR UV from haida in germany and since than it has been TAG UND NACHT. Better than ICE :D
Pocket 6k Pro with cube/modular body
Yes that would be great 👍🏻
Was the audio for this run through the Z-Cam? It sounds...really, really harsh and awful. No offense, not your fault, but god was it ever hard to listen to. There was an incredibly noticeable difference when you did the test with the Pocket 6K preamps, but the rest of the video was rough. Ade the Z-Cam preamps really that bad?
Hi Adam thanks for your feedback. I honestly was really shocked how bad it was. Since I thought I did something wrong but every time I repeated the test I always got the same results. So yes unfortunately the preamps aren’t good at all.
@@pauleporterdp you can get better audio from a $200 tascam recorder, which is what I do for all my audio, then again you have 48v Phantom power for XLR and a ton of gain that you can add so obviously the audio is massively better plus the preamps are from a known manufacturer.
The redness after wb correction is due to lack of ir filter
Thanks for watching and supporting my channel.

Thanks Mate :)
@@pauleporterdp thank you sir,i wish you best, your videos are beautiful
Superb!
Thank you very much 🙂
Kinda misleading using the F6 instead of the S6. But I would go with Z Cam.
I know the S6 makes more sense but this comparison was requested ;)
POCKET 6K better!
Thanks for your feedback mate
zcam has the sony a7iii sharpness that I dont like.It doesn't have detail but fake looking sharpness. The zcam s6 footage looks more detailed in my opinion.
Thanks for your feedback
Bmpcc everyday because u can take this to places zcam can't be taken
Hi Kamil, thanks for your feedback 😄
I'm so confused. Your accent was American when you said "hey guys", but then became German afterward.
As said I’m German ;)
If the pocket could sort out the blacks
You mean the IR pollution?
BMPCC 6K = $2,000
ZCam E2 F6 = $4,000
Is the ZCam F6 worth twice the price?
Thanks for your feedback but I have to disagree I think the skin tones of the z cam looks better on BM it looks to reddish
I'm not sure where this misconception that BRAW is better than ProRes comes from. It's been proven time and again that ProRes is that little bit better at preserving details than BRAW as BRAW is more compressed.
Thanks for your comment - I made a different experience to be honest.
Sound is funny.
Thanks for your feedback
the comparison test is kinda flawed, the 6k has a better image but its easy to tell which is which because of the crop factor. z cam fanboys out here in force.
thanks for your kind words
ZCAM BETTER
Thanks for your feedback
Camera A
Thanks for your feedback.
Z cam rolling shutter looks bad
It’s ok definitely better than bmpcc 6k.
I wish people would stop using raw as a selling feature, raw is stupid to use it’s not a pro feature it’s more for someone who doesn’t know what that are doing,
Thanks for watching anyways
