  • In Morocco, interfaith partnerships demand commitment to organize. Taking this Moroccan approach to succeed across religious differences, we could inspire other nations of Africa, the Islamic World, and the Middle East. Dr. Yossef Ben-Meir, President of the High Atlas Foundation, discusses how this opportunity is being fulfilled in cases in rural Morocco, and the enormity of the challenge in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake of 8 September 2023.

Hi Dr Yossef Ben-Meir. Thank you so much for this short documentary that is a vivid example of the uniqueness of the interfaith and cultural diversity in Morocco that can be a means to facilitate sustainable development and maintains the coexistence among Jews and Muslims. I would like you Dr Ben-Meir to take the example initiative of Akrich to build a nursery in the Jewish Cemetery of Douar Ait Hamza in Kasbat-Tadla. Thank you so much Dr Yossef Ben-Meir and the HAF staff for the amazing work you are doing to help, support and develop many areas in Morocco. Dr. Afaf HAMZAOUI.
